HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY RUDE MAN AT FRONT COUNTER! Got a manicure here about a week ago and about half of them had already chipped. I politely asked what the price would be to just fix the broken nails because the manicure was so fresh. At the end of the conversation I had only been given answers such as "No.", "We won't do that because we don't want to.", and I should "get out and go to a different salon." Owner was just plain MEAN. I'm visiting town for Xmas and made pedicure appointments for me and my 2 nieces. While picking out our polish, the older niece pointed out multiple bottles that looked worse for the wear (she called them "moldy") but I took up for the tired place. Then my tech couldn't get a bottle to squirt because it was too clogged, which she vigorously swished in my foot bath to clear. Ok...No biggie...it's a sad, tired place, but I was happy to be there with my family. We brought our own flip flops to avoid using the disposable kind. The lady working on my feet used my flip flops, no problem. Same for the younger niece. The owner was working on my older niece and when he brought out the yellow disposable slippers, I pointed out that we'd brought our own. This guy took 0.2 seconds to give me a piece of his mind about how he couldn't possibly understand how to polish nails with her sandals on. When I said his tone felt aggressive, he doubled down and told me I "had no common sense" to bring these sandals. "Why do THEY make these reusable sandals if I'm not supposed to use them?" he asked...to which I replied "who is THEY?" which really set him off. I tried to explain we simply wanted to avoid these single use items that will get thrown away. He proceeded to wag his finger at me, ranting about his business and how he runs it. I asked him to stop pointing at me, which again, amped him up. When I tried to laugh the situation off with my nieces, he asked if I was making fun of him. I looked him directly in the eye and reminded him that I am so far from making fun of him, I am his customer and am currently purchasing THREE pedicures from him. That stopped him from blowing up any more but certainly sealed the deal that I would NEVER spend another dollar in his business. I felt bad for the other two technicians that they have to endure his attitude and bullying all day everyday. And that he cost them a tip! read more

I looked up the reviews on area salons and after others had long waits decided to see if I could get in here.. I was able to be waited on within 5 minutes which is fantastic and a lovely lady gave me the nail samples to pick my colors. I got a full set of acrylic nails w/gel polish for my hands and a pedicure.... the pedi was wonderful...the full set of acrylics was not as polished looking as I'd have liked but the friendliness and quick service made up for that! Truck driver here so we are all over the place when needing a mani or pedi! Called Fancy Nails as soon as they opened today (Mon) and asked for 11:30 (to give me time to get Ûber over from truck stop). Arrived 15 min early, signed in and was immediately seated w/gentleman. I picked out 2 colors (for Christmas), gave him wrong # for the red. He politely mentioned that is not red so I looked again and gave him the correct #. He assessed my nails, mentioning that my nails are lifting (not wrong because I too was surprised from previous salon 2 weeks ago), but then got right to work. He was extremely gentle and efficient. I found the staff to be very professional and sweet the entire visit! Will definitely come here again should our route come through this area again. read more

Absolutely THE WORST nail salon I have ever stepped into. I was in town visiting my mother, she and I went to get simple manicures and pedicures. I do gel polish on my nails and when I go into other salons, the technicians always soak my nails (hands and feet) to soften the old gel coat in order for them to remove it without using a coarse drill bit. When my pedicure began, I hadn't even had my feet in the water for 2 minutes when the technician took my foot and started drilling the polish off. I stopped her and asked if she could soak my nails first and not drill, she said no they don't do it that way, which baffled me. I let her proceed until she was drilling so long on my big toe that it started to burn which made me jerk back making me ask again if she could not simply soak the old polish first. Now... insert the RUDEST OWNER EVER, who was starting on my mother's feet next to me, started telling me they don't soak and that they only drill. Yes, there were 'tones' across the board. However, no matter how I explained how all other salons soak and not drill, he was adamant to not allow my nails to soak therefore I said never mind on the pedicure, I'll just do a manicure then. Which at the same time he said they would drill off the polish the same way. So, I responded that I would forgo their services then. At that time, the owner told me to go sit up front and I said no, that I'm going to sit with my mom, and he said again for me to go sit up front and wait on her. Within half a millisecond, all that changed to the owner telling me to leave and to never come back which to me was OK because I was only in town visiting. But then he turned to my mother and said for her to leave too and to never come back. The owner continued to rant and rave that we wasted his time and money for the 7 minutes we in his place. OMG... My mother and I got kicked out of a nail salon!! It was embarrassing to say the least. I apologized to the other ladies in the salon as I walked to the door to wait on my mother to finish putting her shoes back on. UNBELIEVABLE!!! And yes, we went one shopping center down to FAMILY NAILS in Madison, GA and they happily soaked my previous gel coat off my hands and feet before starting my mani/pedi!! read more

This is my favorite spot for mani-pedi service. I've visited bi-weekly for five years and never had a bad experience. My daughter has a paralyzed hand and they even found a way to do her nails. I called the salon to ask if someone was available for a pedicure. I was told yes, come now. I live 2 miles away and was there in less than 5 minutes. There were 4 young women getting pedicures in a group. Two were halfway through and two were waiting. The wait time was 40 minutes. When I had explained I just called and was told to come in, they said I was a walk-in. I asked why was I told to come in right away and then had a 40 minute wait. They had no answer. I will not go back. I have had pedicures there before; they were okay. But their customer service is awful. I have just stopped by before and they never indicate a wait time; just sign in and have a seat. read more

Guy was very rude when asked how long of a wait it might be, I walked out to my car to get my wallet and the wait went from 30 minutes to over an hour and he said If I didn't like it I could just leave, I stayed and waited, when it was my turn he refused to help me find a nail polish similar to what I had shown him in a pic I didn't wanted the exact same color just something similar, nail salons normaly help you find the color since they know their in enforcement better that the customer, but not this guy, he said that wasn't his job and again I was told I could leave if I wanted that he didn't care, I stayed I had waited over an hour so might as well,... fast forward to another time went fir a fill in and vary rudely again I was told everybody was busy when I asked how long a wait it was he said "don't know, long long time" another customer walked in an told him the same and that he could sign in and they'll call him 15 minutes before they could see him, I waited for the same offer and never happen, he told me "what you want now? I told you it's a long wait, you can leave go shopping I don't care" So I left and never will be coming back to this place and will tell all my friends not to go there anymore if they are looking for a good treatment. Today I've ventured out for the first time in nearly 5 months to have a pedicure in my new neighborhood and was declined service. The worker mentioned that since I have never been there before they could not service me even in making an appointment. It was very disappointing and frankly tone deaf to do something so publicly in front of others. In light of all of the racial things unrest on in our country, this obviously looked really horrible on the establishment. I even asked her how do I become a customer and she said when things are normal. Well I'm sure there has to be some salon in this area that will accept my business and establish me as a customer. Wow! Avoid this place like you know what. Anyone intelligent would handle themselves with more class considering this is a small town and word travels. I guess they are not concerned about their reputation as they try to stay in business during the pandemic. read more

I entered this salon and asked what the wait time would be for a pedicure. The toxic fumes were so bad that I asked a woman if there was a fan. The man sitting on the other side of the store stood up and said NO FAN, I sat in a chair to wait and the man stood up again and said IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOU CAN GO, so I did. I will point out that all the employees in the store had triple layer masks on and while the temperature was in the 60's to 70's, the door was not open. Very unhappy with their quality of work and attention to detail! Service was very fast and I complained about the gel nail polish being applied so unevenly that the when set, it was visibly different colors. Was told that was how it is supposed to be. Got the full works pedicure with paraffin wax and it was not worth it! I won't be going back and I don't recommend. read more

This is the only nail salon in Madison that does powder gel manicures. They use SNS, Revel and ProNail, and they are all wonderful. They are a bit pricier than going to Covington or Athens ($40), but they definitely do a great job! Today was my third time getting the powder, and they look fantastic! I also had a pedicure done, and it was awesome. I just did regular polish for that. The technician was also great at doing my eyebrows. Got the arch just right. My only con would be the cost, but in a small town quality goes a lot farther. read more

Awful service, the owner is beyond rude. I went to get a pedicure and I was there around 5:30 and they finished right at 7. Wouldn't let me dry my polish because they said they close at 7. They wouldn't finish the service. She proceeded to put her hands on me to tell me to leave they didn't have time to wait on me to finish the service. My toes weren't dry so they messed up and she said I did it on purpose....fast forward a year later, I decided to give them another chance because we live in a small town and not many nail places. She yelled at me as soon as I walked in the door and she refused service. Also my mother went last week because she had received a gift card for $50 but it had been 4 months so they would only honor 25$ considering we have been in a pandemic my mother hasn't felt comfortable being out in public and they didn't care. Save yourself the headache and do not use these people. We need new place in Morgan county!!! read more

I do not recommend this place to anyone. They are very unprofessional. I was told that they could not do a polish change for me because I was too picky. The only thing that I asked them to do was to use 3 coats of polish. My aunt has also had a bad experience with them. read more
