She said it was the way my nails grew. I was a faithful 3 weaker. They always were loose before the fill after third week of new set I noticed FUNGUS. I used to go there for pedi's regularly for several years until I became injured almost 2 yrs ago - I had to cut back to 4x a year or so. Recently I went to start regular pedi's again, and had a nice tech who did a good job (not great, but good. They would not let me use my certificate - they said they are new owners and it had expired. FINE. I did not have cash on me ($35 cash) I had to use a card so it was $40 I went 2 days ago and had a male technician- he just did a basic job and did not cut my nails to my spec. (My nails grow up and are painful in shoes if not very short) or tend to some of my other issues that I told him about. I will not be returning. As with any place it depends on who you get. I've gone three times in the last 6 weeks. I was a walk in all three times. I got Linh twice and Julia once. All three times the services looked good. I was content. I like to keep my nails short, even when I get acrylics, and I know what the limitations are when doing short nails. Each time I received Linh's services I received nail shaming comments and warnings that my nails would be too short after services, and felt as if I were being pushed to do it differently. I've attached the photo from my most recent visit. To me they look like typical, every day nails? I also asked for gold glitter ombré on my ring fingers but felt pushed out of the chair when the red gel was done. Julia's services were much more friendly and pleasant to experience. I highly recommend her. She fixed an acrylic set I had and it looked tremendous (don't have photo). She seems busy so you may need an appointment. Overall, after striking out 2 of 3 times, I don't think I'll return. I don't often have the heads up that I would need to set an appointment with Julia as it depends on my husbands unpredictable work schedule and I can't be confident I'll have a positive experience otherwise. read more

I had a fill from my amazing previous tech who is in meridian but needed a last minute appointment for a fill and pedi. This is the worst service I have ever received. They over booked themselves after I had already set at app at 11. The owner was suppose to be there at 11 and got there at 12:30 so then other employees had to help HIS appointments. Not all that impressed. Stopped here because it was close to our other stops. We wanted to get mani pedis, and stopped in and asked if we could come in an hour. One girl said yes one guy said no so we were a little apprehensive. Came back in an hour and they were pretty busy. I sat down for my pedicure and my girlfriend said since they were busy she just wanted to do a full set and no pedicure. My pedicure was marginal. It was probably the quickest one I've ever had. She didn't really file my toe nails after she cut them so they were a little jagged and she didn't clean up the left over polish. I sat waiting for my toes to dry and for a nail tech space to open. I realized shortly after that I wasn't getting a manicure. My girlfriend was done with her nails and I decided I was done waiting. Her technician never rounded her nails which was what she kept asking her to do. She didn't want gel in case she wanted to change the color herself in a few days. The tech did the polish so thick it wouldn't dry evenly. They we're definitely busy and maybe that's why there wasn't a lot of attention to detail. Buyer beware! I dropped in, and they told me to come back in 1.5 hours which I did. I had come for a gel manicure, and this is not something I do often due to the expense. The lady that did my nails spent less than 15 minutes, tore my skin off around my nail, did a horrible job, and only put 1 coat on my nails!!! That is NOT how you do gel! She had been staring at my necklace, and asked what it meant. When I explained the religious context of the necklace, she got rude and told me the Bible wasn't relevant to our society today and was suddenly done with my manicure. I normally go to Fancy Nails to get my fingernails done and they always turn out phenomenal. That is why I am giving them at least two stars. Yesterday however, I had time to get a pedicure as well. I should have just done my own feet at home. I had called earlier in the day and made an appointment so it wasn't like I had just walked in and expected them to do it when they were busy. The lady that did my feet was rushed, didn't really buff or work on my heels at all. The whole thing from start to finish took about 10 minutes, 15 if you count her attempting to let the nail polish "dry"... which it didn't. I mentioned it to her and she said "oh it will. Well it's the next day and it's peeling off. I paid 40 dollars for an at home foot soak. Not happy at all!! Don't get a pedicure here. The specialist is very friendly, he tried to be friendly so you won't get bored, but the quality of the work is below standard. I had to tell him that I can still see my tip of the nails unpolished, and the worst part was not done well either. It doesn't follow my skin lines on my nail. Dont go there anymore for a.long time but I've had a few bad experiences. First, they dont sterilize. I went there to get a manicure and nail tech was cutting her cuticles with a plier and set in down. As she proceeded she pulled out a used buffer ( with white nail residue all over it) and was going to use it on me. I then told her if she could use a new one but then she gave me a weird look. After that she then grabbed the cuticle cutter that she had used on herself to use on me. I stopped her and said no!! It has skin on it. Another incident happened with a nail tech named Mike. Hes pretty cool and good artist but he then started to ask me personal sexual questions about myself. I felt extremely uncomfortable and barely talked to him. Got my nails done and didnt tip. I highly dont recommend going there. They break many regulations of sanitation. read more

DO NOT GO THERE! If I could give less than 1 star, I would... We had 1 acrylic, 2 gel manicures, and 1 baby nail paint job. The whole experience was horrendous. They just filed the nails a bit, then painted them. Did not use the final coating. The process took 5-7 min, the cuticles were not even touched. The acrylics were horribly uneven and when asked to fixed them - blamed on us that we didn't hold the hand straight, pathetic! The painting was awful, a 3 yo would do a better job. One customer asked for red nails with white polka dots and got shimmery red and silver, like WHAT??? When we asked how come its not the color she wanted, the tech said she can't do red (?????). Moreover, we paid for everyone, then the tech asked for MORE MONEY as we were leaving. Extremely unprofessional, plus the covid-19 guidelines were NOT FOLLOWED, they let customers in WITHOUT masks. Took mom out for a girls day. She got a pedicure with gel polish and a full set done by Tom. Tom was very friendly and she is very pleased with his work. I had a pedicure with gel polish done by one lady then the gel polish on my hands done by another. The only problem was when the nail tech changed apparently so did the price, which wasn't a huge deal, it was only a five dollar difference but still kind of annoying. Overall I am happy with the quality of work I received. My only complaint is there aren't any prices listed and it doesn't seem to be consistent. read more
