I had a pedicure done. Did not soak my feet for more than 10 min tops. Working on my nails was painful and they are still red and sore the next day. Tools were not packaged...so not sure of cleanliness. Massage of legs was ok...but aside from the redness and New paint job...my feet do not look or feel like I just got a pedicure. I wish there was a 0 star option. This was by far the WORST pedicure of my entire life. The woman who did it rushed through the service. She didn't clean under my nails, she didn't do my cuticles, no scrub. It was basically just a paint job which was also HORRIBLE. She made all my nails so short and unevenly filed. I was charged $45 when there was signs saying it was $40 for a regular gel pedi. When I complained no money was taken off the price and all I was offered was to come back again or a gift certificate which why would I accept that when I had a bad experience. Please don't waste your time going here. I have absolutely zero idea how they haven't been shut down yet. I am visiting Utica for a wedding - I went for mani pedis with my dad just to clean up our nails beforehand. They sat us immediately and started our pedicures. About 20 minutes in the woman doing my nails saw a tattoo on my legs starts SCREAMING won't look me in the eyes and just packs her things up all the tools she was using on me doesn't say a word and switches with the woman next to her..... pulls out the tools she was using on me and continued using them on my dad. The woman who sat down with me also started using the tools she was using on my dad now on me. Extremely unsanitary.... and extremely hurtful behavior. These woman have absolutely no idea what they're doing. We're rude and disrespectful and I am still in disbelief with the terrible service. Hopefully they get shut down because I'm afraid for clients who go in there. read more

The nail technician was the worst I have ever dealt with. She talked me into getting liquid gel and one nail lifted up the day after and then the second nail. I was not able to get back to the salon for 4days and by that time five nails were chipped and nail polish off. As she was reluctantly fixing my nails she informed me harshly that she would not fix my nails again because it had been a week. She filled most of the liquid he'll off and left them unprotected and being that I am a nurse my nails are mostly broken 2 days after she fixed them. 60 dollars later. Horrible read more

I have been holding back on writing this review but I think it is time for it to be done. I have given this business many times to redeem themselves and each time is an issue. These nail techs do not know what they are doing. The reason for me continuously coming back is a year ago there was a nail tech here I would always go to for dip and she would do a great job, but recently I have not seen her and have tried other techs here before switching salons. Mind you, I knew NOTHING about the rest of the techs at this salon because I go to college in the area but am not originally from NY which is why I only came back here after returning to school for my second semester. However, with my experiences, I can confidently say that other than the nail tech, Jane, which I believe is no longer there, this salon is actually pretty awful to go to!! When you show them a design they either do not know how to do it and do it anyway (messing it up completely) or act like they know what they are doing and then leave the nails looking very bad. Each time I ask for a design they seem like they are uncomfortable with doing it and look at me crazy. The designs I choose are not out of the ordinary and are pretty basic, trendy designs that I think any qualified nail tech should be able to do. When my friend asked them to fix her nails, they had her waiting for so long while other nail techs literally sat and did nothing. On top of this, every time I come here I spend an excessive amount of time waiting after clearly calling to make an appointment in advance. My visits here take nearly half of my day whereas at other salons, they do not feel like they take nearly that much time and actually leave the nails looking nice. They do NOT care about how long you wait and do not show urgency in anything that they do!!! I will NOT be coming back here and I would NOT suggest anyone to go here unless they want to spend their time and money!!! I don't typically write reviews nor ever wish to make a business look bad but for this, I had to. My nails look like the have cellulite and when I was finished they doubled charged me. Couldn't pay me to go back!! This place was not fancy. I went here with my mother in law, and the following was my experience. I got a mani/ pedi, and both were underwhelming. First the color selection is something to be desired. If you want dark old nail polish then you have found the place to be. The pedi lasted about 20 minutes, and I know this because the massage chair was set for 20 and it finished the same time the manicurist was done. There was little to no foot massage, and I think she used as little as possible of the scrub as she could. My biggest issue comes with the mani. I asked for a gel mani. I wanted pink nails with a white french tip. Well explaining that almost took me drawing a picture of what I wanted. I guess maybe she had never heard of anyone getting a different color other then cotton candy for the nail color with a French tip. If so she needs to check out Pinterest because it will blow her mind!!! My right hand doesn't look that bad, but my left hand looks like I did it myself. It's really sloppy and uneven. We also got a facial, which was a joke!! They clean your face and the put this black clay mask on you and leave you to let it dry. Well 20 minutes later after it's dry my face was pulsating it was so tight!! Never again!! read more

Today was my third visit and my third time being satisfied. I have not waited more than 1/2 hour. Usually they get me seated right away. They're all friendly and while I was there several regulars came in as the employees knew their names. I have no complaints. Nails look great!!! read more

The only reason they're 1 starred is because you cannot give a lower review. My nails were all different shapes, thicknesses, and not even close to straight. I also had copious amounts of acrylic all over my cuticle and surrounding skin. When asked for my money back, I was told that "nobody knows how to issue a refund on the card reader". Then, I was told that my nails were not crooked or uneven; it was in fact my fingers themselves (Uhm, WHAT). Finally another technician came over and told me that the only way for them to be fixed was to remove the nail entirely. If there was "nothing wrong" with the filing/buffing/balancing, then why are you now saying they need to be completely removed? After the entire situation, I'm still left paying for unacceptable service, AND paying EVEN MORE for a new set to replace the ones they ruined. read more

Awful experience I have gel dip on my nails currently and rather than wrap in foil and wait they tried peeling if off. Thus destroying my nail and when I questioned the tech she said oh no big deal you want cut back right? No I want my length I've been working on for weeks. Manicure took a little over an hour and tech was not personable. Small color choice and nails not great post over cuticle and poor shape. $31 the going rate but I continue leaving mid mani to save my poor nails read more
