At first we thought its a bit pricey for a sandwich but it was a special treat after all Very busy location but you can eat outside which was lovely And it was great to be in the company of a very beautiful person who treated me for lunch Highly recommend the BLT or the ham and swiss sandwich ..yes you can tell the difference of a quality sandwich... And we had Black Bean Brownie and a date square just to finish off... With nice sourdough bread... We stopped at this unprepossessing little place expecting a simple lunch. What we found was a delicious chicken-salad sandwich on fresh bakery break, a nice quiche, and coffee-house cappuccinos. Definitely worth a try! read more

Bridgewater has a few really good eateries - none are more satisfying than Fancy Pants. When I'm going to be good to myself and want quality food prepared with taste and health as priority - this is where I go. They're not after everyone / but they certainly provide me with satisfying nourishment as I move about my day. If I am not going to make the effort this time to prepare my own food this is my go to first choice. It's also where I go if I want not only great taste and nourishment but Opperators and staff who remember you and some of your favorite items. I'm often shooting images and running off to a meeting and there's not much time to make a meal. This is where I go to treat myself - it's something I do to celebrate being generally healthy and mobile. I've never been let down - and I can give you a list of places that have. You shouldn't need a pic of my last meal here - what I think you need is to realize if I'm spending this much time on a review - perhaps you need to see what I'm on about. Good luck ! For a 'fancy pants' spot you don't need to dress up or anything, but I like knowing that this quaint coffee shop in Bridgewater is family run. We had lots of staff greet us and were so kind to our kids. I did notice signs saying this is a breastfeeding friendly shop, high chairs available too.... But no baby change tables in the bathroom??!! I would definitely come back here for the bakery items above all else. The seed cookie was huge and amazing! And the vegan lemon cookie was ultra moist in the middle with a super yummy lemony zing. The coffees are so-so. Plenty of parking out front. Patio seating looks like it would be such a zen spot to enjoy especially in the summer. So many real plants too, I loved that. read more

This is my first review of any restaurant. Today was my third visit to the cafe. I decided to have breakfast and they took by order, my name and I sat inside. I waited for over half an hour and no food, which I thought was odd as there were just three people there when I arrived. I didn't want to be rude and pester the staff. When a waitress passed by I asked about my order. It happened to be sitting on a counter for quite a while and it was completely cold. When I told her, there was no apology and she said that she could reheat it - reheat fried eggs and sausage? Then she said that they could cook it again from scratch. I just left. I should have asked for a refund. This is the sort of slackness that invites a bad review. read more

They offer soy, coconut and oat milk for drinks and also offer smoothies and a few vegan food options as well, including a vegan burger, sandwich, soups and more. So if you are looking for a great cappucino, then order a dry cappucino. The beans are roasted in Berwick NS (North Mountain Fine Coffee Roasters) and make a strong tasteful cappuccino. Fancy Pants is the best little café on the south shore! The food is consistently delicious and flavorful. There are lots of options to choose from, including vegetarian and gluten-free. In stark contrast to Starbuck's strategy of offering its patrons an escape from their busy lives, this place is embracing the realities of parenthood head on with a combo Cafe/play area. Kids can be kids while parents check out just for a minute knowing their kids are happy and close by. The kids also offer some great entertainment for the other customers! As well as standard Cafe offerings like tea, coffee, baked goods and breakfast sandwiches, Fancy Pants also offers an extensive kids menu - not your standard chicken fingers or mac&cheese! My rating is a bit of a stretch as my tea wasn't hot, but the croissant was pretty good. However, I felt anything lower wouldn't be giving this innovative place a fair chance and the menu certainly looks worth exploring further. read more
