(THANK YOU, TOM!) We are shareholders and residents and aren't living in these luxury buildings free of charge. So, we expect that our issues/requests will be addressed immediately and with great enthusiasm. I don't think that will happen in any management office and throwing around demands, being aggressive and rude (even if the person you're dealing with starts showing their teeth mid-conversation), likely won't produce desired results. They'll remember you, but for the wrong reasons Kindness, patience and respect towards those you expect to provide you with the assistance you require, speaks volumes in how that assistance will be provided.

I was here when the building opened and they were still doing construction. I have it so easy living here. The building is sturdy and wonderful. The pool is great to have and so is the gym. Having a doorman is key. The high ceilings make this building wonderful to live in. I am on the 10th floor and have been in two different apartments. The countertops are tall which works well for taller people. It is a block from the Mineola train station which makes it so simple to go into nyc. Overall I recommend living in this building. I was a perfect tenant; paid rent on time every month and left the apartment in pristine condition when I left (got the full security deposit back). After leaving I asked for a letter of recommendation for the new building I'm applying to live in (out of state). Kathleen was nasty for no reason and refused to give me anything, claiming it was no longer company policy to give letters of recommendation. This would be understandable except for the fact that they literally require letters from other landlords for tenants applying to live in their building. Extremely hypocritical and selfish.
