Worst experience ever! To start, I was over sold in my estimate. I was moving from a one bedroom condo; and, they sent three men and two trucks. The motley crew showed up in two barley running rust bucks. Both of which dripped oil on my driveway. When the crew got out and began to walk towards my home, I thought I was on candid camera. Two of the three were still smoking cigarettes AS THEY WALKED TOWARDS THE DOOR! When they got to the door, the two ill mannered, overweight drivers began to argue over who was going to do the paperwork. I told them I didn't care who did it, but Drew and Bobby couldn't agree on anything. The only person they were more rude to than each other was myself. Eventually we got the release signed and the same arguing and fighting carried on thru out the day. They over wrapped all my furniture, and took their sweet time doing it. The homeless looking helper did nothing more but run around moving things multiple times but never putting them on the truck. All three of them have absolutely no grasp of the English language, or how to use it. After 4 hours, they still hadn't filled the trucks; and, then their cave man looking and acting supervisor came out. He cared more about smoking and chatting it up with the crew than dealing with my concerns. When I addressed my issues, he acted like I was speaking a different language. Al he could say was "we'll get it going sir". Well, They didn't. During the off load, Bobby was forced to take four breaks due to lack of energy. I had to watch him sit on the truck, chain smoking and yapping at my new neighbors. He stunk up my brand new bathroom with bowel movements as soon as we got to my new place. When I addressed Bobby's performance with Drew, he refused to adjust the bill. I was told that Bobby was "helping in the truck". When I continued to try and discuss the situation, Drew cut me off and told me to "watch my tone home boy". After that I was done. I payed my bill, and was then scoffed at by the crew when I did not tip them. I understand that the moving industry is the lowest of the low as far as professions go in our country, but Fantastic Moves made cavemen look like rocket scientists. DO NOT USE THEM!!! read more

Knowing what I know now about the move, considering the fact that the estimate per hour is higher that alot of the others, considering that the truck is not part of the hourly estimate would I do it again. YES! I had a 10x10 storage unit going to an upstairs bedroom. The real work was at the end upstairs unit ugh. Yes these weren't moving as fast as they were earlier, but still faster than me and I wasn't lifting anything. Some of the boxes were heavy some were really light. They were professional, took care of my belonging, laid down a runner to protect the carpet super good service. But where they really shined today (and this review could have been quite different) is their attention to detail, and good customer service and most importantly good communications. You see I decided to be a second move for them. They were to give me a 30 minute heads up so I had time to get to the storage unit. Well I knew I had a few boxes that needed more tape, and some needed to be repacked. They actually only gave me a 10 minutes heads up but they would have honored the 30 minutes I suspect. Anyway the person that I was working with let me know that the first move they were hit with an unexpected situation but he assured me that they would have someone out within a reasonable time. They guys then called me probably about an hour later letting me know they were on the way. I was informed of what to expect the entire time. The downer for me the move was more expensive than I anticipated. I really thought they could get this done within two hours. It took 2.5 and honestly they probably could have charged me 2.75 but the delay in traffic wasn't really an issue. They didn't do anything at all to make this a longer move, it was honest, they staid busy and I was just wrong. They estimated three hours and beat that so the bill was what they estimated. I truly feel they were fair, and honest and when it is time to move this will not only be my first phone call it will be the only one. They will have my business in the future. I recently moved out of my apartment of four years and knew that there was no other moving company out there for me! Two years ago, my charity organization was looking for a partner for a community rummage sale that benefited over 40 non profits in the Dallas area. Their team members were friendly, helpful and willing to go above and beyond to complete my move. They wrapped items in shrink wrap, furniture pads if needed and treated all my items very carefully. It was nice to not have to worry about any items getting damaged in the process. They treat your items like their own!! Trusting a moving company is such an important part of moving. This company can be trusted!!! I also had the issue of having to put all of my items into storage units during this transition period. I was very nervous that the items would not fit. Nick (the team supervisor for my move) was very confident and knew the team could do it! And they did!!! They carefully stacked the items to maximize space and left room to spare. They did this all while checking in with me regarding if there were items that needed to be placed in specific places for access. Was so impressed with their positivity and problem solving skills. SO helpful during a stressful move. All in all, the team at Fantastic Moves, from scheduling with Jane to the follow up after phone call after the move with Parrish, is amazing, helpful, positive and trustworthy! We'd used Fantastic Moves before, but in all the craziness of moving I forgot to leave a review. Obviously, had we not been pleased with their service the first time, we would not have called them again. This time we used both the packing and moving services and were more than pleased with both. On both packing and moving day, the crews arrived on schedule and did a fantastic job. The packing actually took less time and less materials than they'd estimated, which was adjusted on the invoice. The move went really well. The crew chief, Bo, had helped us move previously when we downsized into a townhome. This time, he helped us move from the townhome into a bigger house, and if he had nightmares about having to move my wife's 1947 Buick-sized dresser again, he didn't show it. Bo and his crew were very nice, very professional and worked quickly but carefully. The fact we had no AC in the new house when they arrived (among other things that were supposed to be fixed and weren't) made their job much harder, but you never would have known it. Fantastic Moves was recommended by our real estate agent for our move from Dallas to Denver. Fantastic Moves advised me upfront that they were pricier than the larger outfits, but they had professional movers who received benefits and many of their movers had been with their company for several years. They would also be taking our possessions directly to Denver - they wouldn't be packing anyone else's stuff with ours. Everything they promised went as planned. They arrived on time for the estimate and all other appointments. We had specialized packers for our china and art, but Fantastic Moves packed everything else. Their movers were extremely polite, responsive, and efficient. They drove to Denver almost as quickly as we did. Everything was unloaded and placed where requested. One of the movers informed us he broke the leg on the dining room chair, but everything else went fine. Over the past several months we have unpacked everything - sculptures, china, glass vases. Nothing was damaged. I sent Parish our receipt for getting the chair fixed and he sent me a check in a few days. It went as perfect as an interstate move could go. read more

I was referred to Fantastic Moves by an ex-mover who spoke highly about them. From my first contact, it was nothing but a pleasure working with them. They were not my cheapest option but I chose them based on good reviews and the good feeling they gave me over the phone and in person. I am so glad I chose them. Their movers were very professional and ultra-careful about moving stuff in a way that would not damage anything. In the end, they moved my entire house to Florida from Dallas right on time and with no surprise charges. They packed me in Dallas and unpacked in Florida. They were very courteous, friendly and willing to make sure I was pleased with their work. One little thing got damaged. It was not a big deal but Bo, their mover, brought it to my attention and was distraught over it. He told me they prided themselves on not breaking anything. He immediately called home office to report it and they made it right for me. I was very impressed with how concerned everyone was for me. I helped my daughter move in June 2016 in Dallas from one apartment to another a few miles apart. I had given a detailed summary of what we had to move, how many pieces of furniture, number of boxes, etc. a few days prior to the move. Red and Rashad , our movers, arrived exactly as scheduled. They promptly went about wrapping each piece of furniture carefully and thoroughly with quilts and then a layer of shrink wrap. I had never had a mover protect furniture so well! They didn't waste time and were so friendly and careful with all of the furniture and boxes. Moving into the new apartment went well until the sofa wouldn't fit on the elevator. Rashad took off the feet of the sofa and in it went, all done with a smile. He also carefully assembled the supports for the bed and mattress and spent a few minutes getting it placed exactly where we wanted it. This company is the best. The move was pleasant , no wasted time and done at a fair price. And best of all, not one thing was scratched or damaged and nothing in any box was broken! Amazing. I needed help to move in town to a 2-2 apartment and had a load of things (we are a family of three). Not only were these guys on time; they also worked non-stop (no breaks, really) from 9 am until 4 pm. I even bought the movers some food at lunch time to "recharge" but they were more concerned about finishing the job within the time that I had specified. All throughout they were very professional, and to my surprise, very careful with our most fragile things. Dishware, vases, pottery, glasses, all made it to our new place intact (except for one wine glass that broke). The movers were very careful in picking up boxes, loading them on the truck, and placing them in the new apartment. They took very good care of the furniture as well, wrapping everything with blankets so that nothing would get scratched (and nothing did). I had the best experience ever with this company, better than I expected to be honest. On 11-11-15 Joshua, Chris Poe and Bradley helped me and my other half move from Oak Lawn to Las Colinas. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. They moved difficult pieces of furniture through tight corners and even up and down through lofted spaces. We had two very heavy desks that had to come down stairs and then back up stairs at the new place and they took great care of them. I also had a very heavy mattress that had to be hoisted over a railing to get to the first floor and then hoisted back up to the second floor over a railing. Very heavy stuff! They not only moved our stuff out and in the buildings but took care to wrap with moving blankets and load everything so that it was secure in the truck. These three guys worked great together and their hard work was much appreciated, no scratches. I bought them lunch at Subway to eat between houses and then tipped at the end. Fantastic moves was a very good experience for us. They moved two trucks full of furniture and boxes from Dallas,TX to Garfield, AR. They arrived when they said the would, wrapped everything very tightly, and showed strong customer service orientation by asking what we wanted, checking in with us to ensure we were happy, etc. The worked their tails off. We arrived to Arkansas and the skies poured rain. Ernie and his crew "D" and "T" worked through it with a smile. Their work ethic is outstanding. Did things get broken? A few. But those things that broke were fewer in number than if we had moved ourselves. In fact the stuff that broke probably should have never been moved in the first place. We should have donated or sold it. The breakage was very, very minimal. The price wasn't cheap, but I truly believe we got our money's worth. You get what you pay for in cases like this. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again if I had to move. read more

This team was absolutely great to work with. The team arrived on time and ready to work. I know loading up a three story townhouse is a daunting task but the guys kept pace and didn't slow down. Initially I walked them through each room showing them furniture that needed to be taken apart, and afterwards the team lead walked me through the previously agreed upon contract. The guys were professional with their communications with me and respectful with one another. They wrapped and/or padded everything and the process went really smooth. They arrived at my new home at agreed upon time and I walked them through letting them know where to put furniture and boxes. The move was completed in less time than expected. If you are moving and looking for a good moving team then consider Fantastic Moves because two years ago I used one of the well know companies and I was truly disappointment. Use Fantastic Moves recently moving from a 3 story townhome to a second floor apartment building. Can recommend their service to anyone who wants a quality move done. We had them come in and due packing on a Monday and actual move on a Tuesday. The packing was done very quickly yet very efficiently with nothing getting broken along the way. The move occurred without any issues and we were in our new apartment later that afternoon. One benefit they offered which was of tremendous value was any unused furniture we did not want moved they took to be donated to a worthy cause. This saved us a lot of time and effort since we were replacing several pieces and did not want to have to move old furniture. We had 3 packers and 3 movers all of which were professional and did their job well. The estimate can be a little on the high side but you end of paying only for the time and material you actually use which in our case was several hundred dollars less. read more

Re: Francey's comment below - I hope you realize it's not a budget issue. It is the fact that your quote is considerably higher than the market rate, practically everywhere else I called. I feel like that this company is trying to take advantage of the customers, plus the customer service is just so bad. This review is not for their moving service, but for their customer service and price. I have called different places to get a quote for my move, and Fantastic Moves gave me a quote that is $100-150 more than several other places. I asked the lady over the phone, "is there any way for me to get some discount?", again, knowing that their quote is much more expensive than market rate. She then told me "NO??!" with a questioning tone and a sneer. It almost sounds to me that she was thinking "what's wrong with you? why do you think you deserve some discount?" So I politely stopped our conversation, and I know I will not use their service. read more

We just moved to McKinney and had a completely full 28 foot trailer to unload. We read great reviews on Fantastic Movers and decided to use them. They were easy to set up with and made the whole process easy. On the day of the move, they sent Bo, Bugg and Julio. When the arrived, they welcomed us to TX and within minutes were already protecting my home and getting to work. What really blew me away, was that in two hours they unloaded our entire truck AND helped set us our washer and dryer plus built the master bed. We have moved a lot over the years but these fellas were by far the best. They were reasonably priced and well worth every dollar. Hope we don't have to move again anytime soon but if that day comes, you bet I'll be calling these fellas. We hired these guys to move us from Watauga to North Richland Hills (a grand total of 4 miles.) They are based out of Dallas but came out to the Fort Worth side to move us. The fuel charge was a little extra, but we were in a time crunch, and they offered the best rate and were available on the dates we needed. It took about 4 and a half hours but they only charged us for 4. Johnny and Chris were our movers, and they were very happy, very friendly, and stayed in a good mood the whole time despite it being over 100 degrees outside. They worked together as if they'd been moving as a team for years. Some of our furniture was a bit bulky, but they had no issue with taking off doors and putting them back on, or disassembling and reassembling the items as needed. I moved twice within a month's time going into a temporary loft to my permanent one. Bo and his team at Fantastic Moves were incredible during both moves. They were very accommodating with everything that needed to be done...even hoisting my sofa down from a 2nd floor duplex to the ground through my patio. All three of the guys that moved me were polite and checked in with me during the whole process to make sure that my expectations were being met. One of the owners also stopped by during the middle of the move to ensure everything was going to plan. I have used Fantastic Moves twice in the last 3 years for moving an entire household. Anytime you are moving, there are many vendors involved from changing utilities to having repairs/improvements on both ends of the move. Fantastic Moves employees/staff are far and above the best experience of both moves. They were punctual, went "over & above" expectations to ensure that our moving experience was as stress-free as possible and were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Fantastic moves came highly recommended to me by a friend that recently used them. Best movers I've had. From the beginning of the process, everyone I dealt with was very professional. The movers arrived on time, ready to go. I moved from an apt with a long hall to the elevator to a 4 story townhouse, so these guys had a lot of steps and stairs to deal with. Nothing was damaged at all, including furniture, floors, and walls, because they took great care in making sure there was no damage. Fantastic does not do justice to the amazing speed skill and friendliness of these wonderful people. Nick came and surveyed our move and provided a detailed estimate of units, time trucks personnel and packing materials and equipment required and the team came and packed us one day moved is the next and came in $1,200 under the quoted estimate and 12 man hours quicker without a single mishap or scratch.
