When One of the items that I had purchased was to be returned as it didn't fit who I was giving it to, when I went in the store I looked around to see if there was something else just to make life easier. And then I wanted to return it. They said they do not refund money or credit you back. I can only exchange it. And exchange is not a return! I specifically asked in detail was told yes and then denied when I returned. My daughter is a frequent shopper and her friends and I have even gone in there at times and I liked the merchandise I will not be returning to the store with my business

With a name like "Granny's Attic" and the dusty old outside appearance, you can see how people might think this was one of those rummage stores that try to pass themselves off as "antique" stores. This is not that. If Neiman Marcus were an antique store, it would be Granny's Attic. This is not where you go to find a $500 antique dining set - you have to troll craigslist like the rest of us. This is where you go with your fancy-pants designer and furnish your penthouse in gorgeous antiques. Or, like the rest of us, you go here to find the one or two beautiful splurge items that add character to a room. There is something of a display challenge in that there is so much incredible stuff here (literally boggles the mind with decorating possibilities), you simply cannot appreciate it. It wants for a stately showroom (but where's the fun in that). This stuff is very high end and there are some extremely interesting pieces. And, I'll just add that we were warmly welcomed by the owner who couldn't have been friendlier (despite me having two little boys in tow, in an antique shop, what was I thinking?!?). He left us alone to ogle the merchandise but willingly traipsed all over when I wanted a price on something. So, I say, Go! This place makes you want to decorate like Williams Sonoma makes you want to cook.....

My friend was able to make a beautiful hat, unfortunately they did not have my size hat in my preferred color. They have a lot of nice embellishments and options to design them, but they said they run out of things quickly so it's definitely hit or miss. If you have a specific design idea in mind, I'd HIGHLY recommend calling and confirming availability first so you don't go home empty handed like I did. Got a skirt with some fringe that runs very small. Normally I'm a medium and a large didn't even zipper. I gave it to my friend for a bachelorette party (she is half my size-very tiny girl) the skirt immediately broke & when I called the store to return or exchange it they wouldn't let me. I told them it was broke and still had the tag on it and they would not work with me at all bc it was past the exchange date (no returns allowed) even tho it was unworn with the tag....Horrible return policy and horrible quality! I'm sure other items have better quality but after my experience I will not be returning. I was excited for the store when I first walked in but it was a huge disappointment.
