The selection of dresses and the price point is great. Christina's personality seems to make everyone in the room happy and laughing. The dress came in on time. Christina accommodated many appointments and stayed late when the appointment ran late. I'm giving three stars SOLELY because of my experience with alternations. I was told before I bought my dress that altering the sleeves would be no problem. So I said yes to the dress because I was told the sleeves could be changed and was super excited. During my first fitting I was told by the seamstress that the sleeves couldn't be altered the way I was told they could. And if I wanted them like that I wouldn't be able to move my arms. If this was explained to be before buying the dress, I probably would've thought twice about that particular dress. (I would've undoubtedly bought my dress from Sister's Bridal because the service and selection was great). The alterations were very stressful and took 4, maybe 5, fittings to get the sleeves to look semi like what I was originally told (I live an hour+ away, and had to leave work early for many of these appointments). And the seamstress seemed VERY bothered by my alteration request. One my wedding day it was a disappointment with the way the custom alterations looked. The sleeves were uneven. One side held higher on my shoulder and the other wouldn't hold on my shoulder, it was lower on my arm. I can see this in every single forward facing picture from my wedding day. I can't even explain how disappointing that is. It wasn't how I was wearing it either. One side was altered differently and when I tried to move the other side down, material folded awkwardly. When I tried to move the lower side up, it pulled too much and wouldn't stay. Trust me, I tried! So, my advice is buy a dress you love 100% as is and IF you want custom alternations, have the actual seamstress there to say it can be done before buying the dress. read more

Christina is simply amazing. I had the best experience. This was my first time ever wedding dress shopping. I decided to go into this boutique because it was near by. I went in, told her what I liked and she brought out 2 dresses, I tried on dress 1 and fell in love with it. It was a floor sample so I was able to get it right away and it would save me the 9 months wait time. And was a Lil cheaper too, I wanted to buy the dress right there but decided to make a apt at David's bridal just to have the full wedding dress shopping experience, I did not want to just buy the first dress that I saw/ tried on. I went to David's bridal next day, showed the consultant what I had in mind, she took me around and there was nothing I liked, they have a large selection but nothing that really caught my eye. I tried on 3 dresses, did not wow me... next day I called Christina and told her to hold on to my dress!! I'm coming to get it, she put it on the side for me... and I got my dress! Love it. I was nervous to try on dresses but I felt comfortable after being at Sisters Bridal after a few minutes. The store is spacious and there is a great selection of dresses. WEDDING PARTY AND BRIDES BEWARE I had what seemed to be a wonderful experience at first - turned out to be a nightmare In August of 2013, I purchased a sample sale off the rack ask for changes on the skirted part and they said the changes I wanted to make were achievable I started going for appointments with the seamstress in January, my wedding was in May 2014 - long story short my dress was not "ready" until TWO DAYS before my wedding I had to take it to another seamstress because it wasn't done properly They said they dyed my shoes to match my dress - as I was walking out of my home I saw the shoes were not the same shade We had bling added to bridesmaids dresses which most fell of before the ceremony I contacted the owner and addressed my issues she claimed she was going to reimburse me for my out of pocket seamstress expenses they never did....I gave the owner several months and then filed with small claims court - they then tried to sue me for writing the above review on Facebook - I won the settlement and the countersuit was dismissed.....they finally paid judgement after Help Me Howard from Pix 11 came to the store with cameras rolling! read more

Today was my first appointment to find my wedding dress. Well, I'm glad I made Sister's and Christina my first stop! First, once you walk in and it's a quaint shop, modern with the old world charm of the local bridal salons that are a dying breed. Secondly, she's just bubbly friendly and sweet!! Made me feel comfortable and at ease. I told her what I was hoping for and she understood it!! I highly recommend Sisters Bridal Boutique. I was trying to track down my dream dress (I had found it in another store and didn't jump on it and it was gone). I called all over NJ to no avail, but Christina was the only one willing to help me get it. She jumped through so many hoops to get me my dress, and she was so nice throughout the entire process. Her seamstress, Jola, took the dress from a 16 to a 12 and it fit like a glove. I couldn't have been happier with the dress or the service I received from Christina. She has a gorgeous selection of wedding dresses, and unlike David's Bridal they were high quality and worth the price tag. She also gave me a great deal on the dress, also unlike David's Bridal. I've been in many weddings and this was the most disorganized unprofessional bridal boutiques I've ever been too..I went for a fitting and got a call a half hour later that I never showed up for my fitting with my bridemaides..I wasn't the bride just a bridesmaide after I was just there they thought I was the bride..They made me pay extra for something that I didn't need to then had no record of me paying. ..Horrible experience there...Would never recommend this place to anyone.. read more

I found a bridesmaid dress I liked and found that this dress place had it. Most of my bridesmaids came in to get measured. One of my bridesmaids did not and called in her measurements. After calling her measurements I was under the impression that all the dresses were ordered. A month went by and my one bridesmaid that called in her measurements realized that her credit card was not charged. Called the dress place and they said they did not understand the measurements that were given and did not order any of the dresses. How did they not call me or my bridesmaid if they were unsure on the measurements. We finally got over that hurdles and all the dresses came in. My MOH came with me to try on the bridesmaid dress. The dress came in way to small. The neck line was at her chin and would not go any lower. I remember when ordering the dress we told Christina to order the larger size. In fact in Christina's notes she wrote dress might be to small. Instead of saying sorry we made a mistake I will fix this for you and not cost she refused to take responsibility. In fact she stuck her fist down my MOH back and said look at all the room you have. Yes that is because the dress is up to her chin. Instead of making a seen I took the dress to my seamstress to have it fixed. The good thing was there was enough seam allowance to fix the problem but there was not enough seam allowance in the ribbon. So I called sister bridal and asked for more ribbon to fix my MOH dress. They wanted to charge me for it. I will never ever go there or recomend a dress from there. 3 out of 5 bridesmaid dresses didn't fit. They do not know how to order the correct size. Very unprofessional and tacky. Not exactly the glamorous experience a bride hopes for. Our bridesmaids dresses were ordered in a completely different style, and there was no time to order new ones. We were all left scrambling weeks before the wedding for different dresses. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, no bride should ever have to go through that experience. I probably would have held my tongue and never written this review, however today I saw her talking trash about another bride on Facebook..calling her a "large ass." read more

Christina and her team are the best, I purchased my wedding dress from here and this Saturday my maid of honor will be purchasing hers from here also. Every time I go I feel so comfortable, never any pressure to purchase and most important they all have patience. They allow you to take pictures and I tried on as many dresses I wanted, most places only allow you to try on a certain amount of dresses. Let me start off by saying that I walked into this bridal shop and right away was told we only work by appointment...so a few months later made an appointment for my mom - my niece will be getting married in December and my mom (the grandmother) needed a dress. We arrived for our appointment and Christina (the owner) asked can I help you I stated that we had a 1:00 o'clock and told her I was looking for a dress for my mom...right away I could tell she couldn't be bothered she had another appt there a bride and some of her guests more money to be made off of that sale. She directed us to some dresses and we were on our own (so much for making appt's) I guess this sale wouldn't be as many $$$ not worth her time. I guess she has made it too big and doesn't need a smaller sale. I asked if there were any jacket dresses and was told no but on here website I saw at least two. As one of the previous reviewers has stated they are not reliable with time - your lucky if they are open according to there hours of operation. And try calling and leaving a message - your lucky if you get a return phone call. I never did and finally reached someone to make appt. I feel so disrespected as we have purchased several dresses from this place in the past. I live in town and figured let me give a local business my sale. I would not recommend this bridal shop. If you are a bride and she can make a lot of $$$ off of you she probably goes out of her way but if sale is just one dress your better off going somewhere else like we did - the next town over and we treated with respect and my mom got a dress. This sale could of potentially made her more money as the bridesmaid still have not ordered dresses and the bride mom still has not purchased her dress but its okay we will take our business elsewhere. I have had the pleasure of working with the ladies at Sisters Bridal Boutique on two occasions. I was a bridesmaid and got my Allure bridesmaids gown for my sister-in-law's wedding there last year. Considering everything about my experience there from the beautiful selection of dresses to their helpfulness and hospitality, it was just an easy decision to do business with them again this year for my own wedding. They are all so sweet and accommodating. I especially appreciated their prompt follow-up for whenever I expressed any concerns or had questions regarding the status of my girls' bridesmaids dresses once they had been ordered. They even allowed me to hold an outside dress with them (I had purchased it online) for one of my flower girls to try on there with the ability to make alterations if any were needed. When nothing had to be done, they simply steamed & pressed the little dress for me at a small cost. I would certainly recommend this boutique to anyone in search of special occasion attire and a happy shopping experience to go along with it. Great experience...Until I left the store. Cait was accommodating and after telling her of my bad experience with Davids Bridal she said she wouldn't do the same, she knew my budget and after asking twice about the price she confirmed it to be in my budget. She was willing to hold the dress for me to return with another person for a last opinion. I called the next business day (Mon) left a message requesting an appointment. The second day (Tues after not receiving a call back) I called again with my mind/heart made up to purchase the dress I had fell in absolute love with, just to find out from Christina that Cait didn't have permission to offer the dress to me for the price. Christina knew who I was and even knew that the price given to me was incorrect. When she realized the mistake Cait made, she could have called me to let me know, I could have forgave that. But I had to call them back, after them not returning my call. ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTING.!!!!!!!! Worse than Davids Bridal, will not recommend EVER. read more

I would not recommend this place to any bride. We had a terrible experience. She started our appointment 45 minutes late because she said she was "finishing up with a bride". we respected the bride and her family by not bombarding them. We just browsed around the salon. (that had a small selection to begin with) 45 minutes later we started our appointment, and were put in the corner dressing room which was a lot smaller and the owner stuck us with a girl who has been working there for 2 days and definitely doesn't know what she's doing. the owner ignored us the entire appointment as she was just chatting with the other bride, while they were chatting her bridesmaid decided they wanted to try on dresses as well. the bridesmaids took over the entire dressing area and took away so much from our bride. honestly we were treated like second class citizens. they offered the other group wine and didn't offer us anything. tying on wedding dresses is supposed to be fun, exciting, and a special time and they robbed us of that experience. read more
