The last visit in November was not pleasant. I had cuts and it just seemed the work was rushed. Cindy just didn't hear what I wanted to be done. I wanted my nails dipped in powder and painted. The communication wasn't there. I had three people working on me, yet the old gel polish was not completely removed. I didn't like the design. It was too busy and it wasn't uniform. I was one of the last customers left in the shop. I stopped talking thinking she was the expert. I went home and I had to put peroxide on three of my fingers. And my fingers took a while to heal. It took me this time to write this review because I was very disappointed. I finally got the courage to do so because I want the establishment to know that they need to be on point in listening and taking great care of their customers. I paid and tipped all three ladies. But I bowed out and will not come back.

2 week refill and they still look good. Thank you, Cindy.

If they are busy, they will do their best to fit you in asap. They epitomize multi-tasking by making sure no one waits too long. It definitely doesn't cut down on their quality of work. They are very attentive to your ideas and recommend other styles just for knowledge and experience. Did notice on some of the nails on the side of nail bed was missing acrylic and it was a little painful when I needed a fill. My second time today was great. I called to check if they were accepting walk-in. The lady on the phone was nice and accommodated me within ten minutes for a refill. I came in with a plan to change the shape of my nail from a square tip to a round tip and wanted designs on them. Cindy went above and beyond to make sure the colors and designs match what I wanted. Best nail place in town! I've been coming here for 10 years. Cindy does an amazing job! I love that they have so many colors and styles to choose from. Whatever the trend, Cindy can do it! I desperately needed to get a pedicure and a manicure. The place I usually go to is in Stockton and I didn't want to drive that far. I looked up places and saw a lot of 4 and 5 stars for Fantasy Nails. I decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did. After reading the reviews I decided to ask for Cindy. She did a fantastic job, especially with the massage part. Now I can show my toes off for spring/summer. I also got a quick manicure from Ngoc. She was so sweet and she did a good job too. This business doesn't even deserve 1 star. Horrible customer service. I've been going there for 11 years and over the last year all they want is customers money. They do your nails the way they want to and will stop in the middle of your nails to seat a new customer that walks in so they won't leave. read more

they completely messed up my face. I come here all the time. To wax my eyebrows. They made my entire eyebrow area break out in tiny bumps over their wax, my face looks so bad right now, I call about it and they are argumentative when I'm a regular there. They changed the wax or the tools were bad. Either way my face looks so bad I wish they didn't wax my brows. Be careful who you let touch your eyebrows or face. read more

I came here because several people on Facebook recommended Cindy and Tony. I am very particular when it comes to pedicures. I need a little extra clean up around my big toes because I am prone to getting in-growns. Cindy did a great job. She was very thorough and I got a great foot/leg massage, the best Iv ever gotten during a pedi. They also have a large selection of colors, gel and regular. read more

Well I just got a response to my honest review from 3 years ago and wow, very rude! I made the right decision by not coming back! You do not come across as professional when you respond so rudely. Customers read these reviews and responses before they decide whether or not to give you their business. I have been going to Cindy for the last 10 years since I moved to Manteca in 2011. She's always done a wonderful job of my nails and my pedicure. My nails are never chipped and my pedicure always stays nice and pristine until my next fill or my next pedicure. I haven't tried any other place in Manteca because she has done such a great job on my nails on my feet. read more

The shop in the middle of summer with no A/C . I been here almost four hours for a full set an plan pedicure. I was told to wait for her to do my design only to wait for four hours an then be told she can't do my design after I waited . Now I either get stuck with half done nails or I have two wait twenty mins and get my whole color changed . There communication is shit . There completely inconsiderate of your time. Update : End result my skin got plucked getting eyebrows done and after waiting while she did a whole pedicure I was told she couldn't do my design . I could wait another twenty mins an change my color since the only reason I got it was to go with the design. I declined an had them remove the nails . This has been my go-to place since I left the SF Bay Area 7 years ago; even my Mr.,mom, dad,and sisters come here now. Everyone here is so pleasant, doing their best to make you happy with the job they've done. Lots n lots of services offered at a reasonable price they are never rough and the work stations are very clean. For about $20, you get foot bath, salt massage, nail cutting, cuticle cleaning from around the nail,callous scrub,lotion massage, hot towel, then 3 coats of paint. My feet look so pretty and feel excellent after my treatments. I don't think you'd be disappointed if you try this shop read more

This was an emergency I couldn't wait 2 weeks for him to come back so Tina at Busy Bee was avaliable at first I was super nervous to have someone else do my nails but Tina was awesome. I have been here 4 times now because she is that good: *She made sure she was doing the style I requested *she was super cool with doing LONG nails nails *she is not afraid to try new techniques *she has not once hesitated about my color choices. (I love black acrylic, but it makes a big mess some places won't do it or say black nails will be ugly) *she is not hesitant on using flat matt top coat *she has fit me in last minute for a quick wax *she has been able to fit my grandma in for a pedicure when I brought her in *the shop is cute *lots of colors, stickers designs, foil, jewels, geode style, and tons more. The salon is on the smaller side and was definitely busy, but they were able to sit us together for our pedicures, which I really appreciated. One of the biggest things for me was that they did NOT pressure me to get gel! I stopped getting gel because it damaged my nails, and you'd be surprised how many salons make you feel like regular polish is an inconvenience. Not here! They had plenty of regular polish options, and something I really liked was that they actually have books filled with nail color samples that you can sit and flip through to choose your color. I've never seen that at a nail salon before! Granted, I rarely go to salons because I usually do my own nails, but I thought that was such a nice touch and made picking a color so much easier. The woman who did my manicure was so kind and patient. She never made me feel rushed or like she wanted me out of her chair because I wasn't spending extra on gel. I had recently cut my nails much shorter than I normally wear them, and she made them look SO pretty. I absolutely love how they turned out! My husband, on the other hand, was there very reluctantly . I try to convince him to get a manicure and pedicure with me at least once a year, and apparently yesterday was the day! No polish for him, of course. He survived and actually had a good experience. We both chose the #2 pedicure for $40, and our total for two manicures AND two pedicures was only $100, which I thought was fantastic. I'll admit I got a little nervous when the woman doing my pedicure started working on my cuticles because I've been clipped at salons before , but she was careful and didn't hurt me at all. Apparently that was just my past nail-salon trauma kicking in. Overall, this was such a nice new experience for us and a great way to spend the two hours while our daughter was at tennis. Everyone was friendly, we didn't feel rushed, the prices were reasonable, and most importantly, I LOVE my nails. If you're in the Manteca area, I definitely recommend stopping by Busy Bee Nail Salon and checking them out. We'll be back!
