No Compromise! Simply put, the BEST Car Audio Engineers on the planet! To be honest and upfront, it takes a lot to impress me and be able to satisfy me (Just look at most of my reviews) I always expect good customer service and quality which almost no business offers these days (At least in LA) Fantazy Motorsports not only met these 2 important elements, but exceeded them by going above and beyond! These are the BEST Audio Engineers you will ever encounter! My issue started after replacing my stock car battery with a deep cycle one, as a result ALL my audio settings were lost causing my sound system to not function properly and almost impossible to reconfigure myself. My head unit has roughly 65 different settings, and if 1 of them is not set properly, the entire system sounds like S*@#. I do NOT have an expensive stereo system, just a few small upgrades from the factory stereo that make music listening more enjoyable. After screwing around with my settings long enough with complete failure (You basically need a PhD from Harvard to figure out all the settings correctly) I decided to call these guys because every Car Audio place in L.A. doesn't know what they are doing! (Been to many, all failed) And further more will RIP you off!! George, the owner picked up the phone and assured me he has the best guys working for him (Yeah, heard that before) but with no other option, I decided to take the gamble and take the road trip from Hollywood to Thousand Oaks (Might as well drive to Vegas) The dice came up eleven! The gamble paid off as soon as Ramal (Rah-Male) got inside my car and started to work his magic. This guy is a TRUE Audiophile....the most amazing Audio Engineer I have ever encountered! After spending a solid hour in my car listening and tweaking every last option on my head unit....my system NEVER sounded so good! I was beyond amazed and was truly impressed! Certainly worth the road trip and NOT a lot of $ spent either! He even typed up all the correct settings for me in case mechanics disconnect the battery in the future to work on my car. The entire staff here is professional, personable, and courteous! Freddy greeted me when I walked in and offered me coffee, the guys in the bay area were all friendly, and the showroom is extremely clean and comfortable. The best experience I have had at a car audio facility and with a successful outcome! THE BOTTOM LINE: For those donkeys that don't know any better and prefer to get ripped off.....then go visit the large L.A. based car audio company (You know who you are) or any other cut rate audio shops located in the greater Los Angeles area. For those customers that demand perfection, service, and top quality, there is NO better place to go for your car audio needs. When I first came to Fantazy Motorsports, I brought my brand new sports car in for them to install some cold air intakes. My car is a medium to high level sports car & it has excellent stock horse power. Needless to say, I was very nervous leaving it there. Those worries were very quickly replaced by supreme confidence once I took a personal tour of Fantazy Motorsports. I kept my head down, but my eyes & ears were open for any trace of a lack of professionalism. I walked into the back where the garage is, & I spotted a very serious looking ROMMEL MEDSNA. Rommel is in charge of the garage. His staff are all highly skilled & technically proficient at what they do. UPGRADING YOUR CAR'S NEEDS!! Rommel is a part of Fantazy Motorsports, but he guards the cars in that garage like they are his own. I noticed one of the managers of Fantazy Motorsports touch the door of a $200.000 sports car getting upgrades. Rommel looked at the manager, HIS MANAGER & said in a very direct & emotionless manner, "DON'T TOUCH THE CAR!" I was very impressed. The staff at the front whom you will be dealing with when ordering your upgrades, are all very highly efficient at what they do. Freddy is the business brains of the operation who has a good knowledge of upgrade parts that you may want & in every category from a high end sound system, to custom fitting intakes or ordering a Borla exhaust system. Andrew is just as knowledgeable as Freddy but Andrew has an edge because Andrew drives certain sports cars & he has been street racing for years. I took my 2014 Evo X to Fantazy for some serious audio upgrades on my already advanced car stereo. I had a JL 10W6v3 and 2 Alpine PDX amps (600x4, 600x1) but the bass was never good enough for me because the front stage was so strong. The manager Steve set me up with a 10W7AE and a custom fit MDF enclosure along with JL HD750/1 and a HD600/4 for good measure. Now I've got another 150W driving the subwoofer and it makes all the difference. Steve's crew also built me a new amp rack which is real specific to my requirements. The Evo exhaust puts out a lot of heat on a hot day and can cook the amps. They built in a cooling system with 2 high speed fans that I can turn on/off with a switch. They had to reconfigure my floor board but I can still get to my battery/fluid compartments easily. I got to keep my spare tire and there's still room for an ice cooler in the trunk. They also built some custom mounts to secure everything well cause the Evo corners hard. All in all I'm super happy with how it turned out. It's the second time I've dealt with Steve over the years and he's as professional as they come. He makes sure you walk out the door satisfied. I walked in looking to get a quote on some Tires/Rims for the racetrack, Big mistake. Bought a set, and they made it clear that the tires would fit with a fender roll and camber kit.I got the car back and couldn't get out of the driveway without scraping. Fenders were hardly rolled and I bent them turning around to get back in the driveway. We took it into the garage and raised the front a TON to try to get the tires to clear (screwing up my competition alignment and corner balance). When we put the tires on, the tech hit the lug nuts with an airgun and over torqued them. Factory spec is 90ft/lbs and they were torqued to well over 200. I broke two wrenches trying to get the tires off. When I took it back to their shop, they argued with me for 2 hrs and told me the torque was my fault. Finally they agreed to replace my lug bolts but I was told by Freddy that "I owed them a good review". I didn't go back for the bolts because I didn't want to deal with them anymore. This place is a nightmare. Don't go there if you're looking for anything other than aesthetics. edit: Forgot to mention that another customer told me he heard them calling me a "Pain in the a** customer" inside. Over the years I have had several vehicles serviced at Fantazy Motorsports. Projects such as window tinting, alarm system installation, exhaust system enhancement, and PPF were performed at their Thousand Oaks location. The work performed is nothing short of exemplary. The staff is top-notch professional and always sensitive to any concerns I had. The fact that I recently had my fourth vehicle serviced at FM speaks volumes to their work ethics and dedication. An issue arose when I had a dash cam installed in my latest endeavor; the camera wasn't recording properly. FM worked tirelessly trouble-shooting the issue over several days. After trying numerous solutions, FM correctly assessed that the camera had a manufacturing defect. Knowing that I was hard pressed to resolve this issue as I was on the verge of leaving town for some time, management called for a replacement camera to be shipped overnight at no extra cost to me. FM received the camera the next day and immediately proceeded to replace the defective unit. Been working with the team at Fantazy for about 8 years. They did all the work on my Audi S5 which ended up being in the top 5 fastest S5's in the US. They did a bunch of work on my Rubicon that was nice enough to be a show car. Going to have them do my exhaust on my current M3 Comp in the next month or two. They also did all the work on my daughters Corolla, Rav4 and now WRX. And... they've done all the work on my fiancee's Jeeps (mostly tint). Steve is the manager and has always been awesome to work with. He does a great job managing the shop / front office and makes sure his customers are comfortable and happy while waiting for the their cars. The employees that work there are friendly and helpful and have a great eye for style. I have never wrapped my car but they have a guy who does an amazing job on everything I've seen. Hopefully he is still there. Mena (sorry if I spelled his name wrong). And their suspension / tech guy Junior is the $h*t! Really knows his stuff. These guys made my day! I had an insulation problem and had been to a number of stores looking for the right product and could not find it. Fantasy had it. It is a superior insulation material that normal auto parts stores do not carry. Sam was super helpful in showing me the various versions of the product and taking it out to the car to determine what size we needed. When paying for the material he asked if there was anything else he could do for me. I jokingly said he could install it for free. He said OK! I couldn't believe it. Admittedly it wasn't a big job, but I was still blown away by the customer service. I noticed that they dealt with exhaust systems and had been plagued by a noise in my C6 Corvette. I had been trying to find out what was causing this particular sound to no avail. I asked Freddy if he had any idea of what it might be. He knew right away what it was and provided me with the information for the fix. I had been looking all over for this information and finally found it at Fatazy. Thanks Sam and Freddy. I have worked with Fantasy Motorsports three times now and each time I haven't been let down! They hooked me up with a killer system and tint for my 2014 mustang and had it done in one afternoon. The prices are actually really reasonable and the employees are easy to work with. I have personally worked with Aurian and I am never disappointed when I leave the shop. I am going back in next week to have tint and my system done in my 2004 chevy and I can't wait to see and hear the final products. Aurian is super easy to work with and I will not trust anyone else to do work on my vehicles. I currently Live in Fresno, Ca and I prefer to drive down to Thousand Oaks just to have these guys work on my cars. If you aren't satisfied by the quality of the work they do, They will work with you do get whatever it is fixed. Wanted to start off by saying this place treats me like family. I have gotten all my cars upgraded from here from sound system to suspension, they really do it all. Aside from that they have the freshest aftermarket parts on the market. They can also custom tailor any car to your taste. Just dropped my 535 off to them on Wednesday.
