A cashier, whom I believe an owner charged higher prices to produce items several times. I initially thought that it was just her simple mistake but one day, I instantly noticed that she charged napa cabage as baby bokchoy which is much more expensive. I pointed that out and asked her to enter the right plu number but she kept insisting that what I bought was baby bok choy not a nappa cabage. I asked her what kind of baby bok choy can be bigger than 12 inches and sold as a single item that weighs over a pound. She seemed quite embarrassed and started raising her voice. I told her to not to pull the fast one from non-chinese customers and left the store without getting the refund. Maybe I lost just $3 dollars or so due to this overpayment but she also lost her royal customer who went there for the past three years since this was my last visit. I hope it's different now but if she still does this, keep an eye on your receipt particularly when you're buying produce items that don't have a price tag. read more

Though it looks a little sketchy from the outside (with all the blinds closed, my friends and I thought it was closed), Far Corners is surprisingly spacious, clean, and well-stocked for a smaller Asian market, which is all you could ever ask for from an Asian market. Everything is well organized and easy to find, and there's a good selection of both packaged and fresh goods. I was happy to see them have ingredients specifically for hot pot dinners, so I suspect I'll be back sometime soon! read more

This place has really gone downhill. Many, many of their items are expired. I got their kimchi and it definitely was not fresh, in a bad way. They don't bother to put prices on nearly anything anymore. You can walk down an isle, item after item, and there are no prices whatsoever. How are you supposed to shop like that? I took up a Ramen packet and it turned out to be $12. I understand that some things are more expensive than others of course, but you've got to put prices on items. Not all of us have endless amounts of money or we can go up to the register and find out that we bought $300 worth of food thinking that we bought less. The lines are usually very long and then rarely have two people on register. I prefer the Korean market on Atherton where everything is clearly marked and they have fresh food items on Thursdays, and the market on the corner of Atherton and blue course Dr. is great. They give you 4% discount for cash and all of their prices are easily marked. read more

Selection exceeded my expectations for a smaller market in central PA of all places. You can get fresh Asian veggies, and all kinds of frozen, pickled, and fermented goodies for proper home cooked Asian food. They have everything you need for hotpot, which is a huge plus. They've got your sauces and dried noodles and a great selection of junk food too. Fresh vegetable deliveries come every Thursday, and the list of sales is on the pole where the register is. No reviews on the new location yet. I like the new place, it is more spacious and I think it has more stuff now. The usual stuff is here: good Asian greens, large selection of ramen for college kids, frozen meats and prepared food, and good selection of asian seasonings (chinese, Japanese, Korean, thai, etc) It is a pretty good Asian grocery store that will instantly transform your kitchen into an Asian restaurant. If you pay with cash I believe you get an additional 5% off so remember to bring your money bag. The price here is reasonable. Final mention: for those that knows what I am talking about, they actually carry stinky tofu...You don't see that sold in many places, even in cities. That alone deserves an extra star, which means this is a 5 stars grocery store. read more

Pretty cool Asian Grocery store in SC. They have many different things to offer to make that perfect Asian meal, or just to explore the not easily found gems they stock the shelves with. They have all the classics such as Many different types of noodles, Asian Greens, Mochi Ice Cream, Marinades, And a great verity of Asian snacks and beverages. Overall its a pretty cool place to check out. One point I would recommend is to watch the dates on the products. With such a large inventory things often go out of date. read more

There was a language barrier but I was able to show her pictures of what I was looking for, and a young worker who spoke English was very helpful. Very clean store and friendly.
