Stopped here for a tea after visiting Bellefonte. Almost missed it right on Main St in Pleasant Gap. Not much for ambiance, but very nice staff and a cool, eclectic menu. I just got a green tea but would love to stop back for a khachapuri!

Came in here on a snowy cold morning and this was the absolute best spot for a day like this. The atmosphere is really homey and the food is so comforting. My boyfriend and I drove here in about ten minutes from state college and so it's not a far drive from the downtown area and definitely worth a try. We had the cheeseboat and beef burek and they were both so delicious. The bread is so warm and tasty in the cheeseboat and the pastry dough in the burek is so flakey and delightful. We also took a pistachio cake to go and it's divine! Will definitely be back for more. If you're a student at penn state and want to try something different than most options in town, but still comforting and yummy, try this place! The owners are also so very kind!

I am always in search of new breakfast places and this place had popped up on Yelp. I had the Cheeseboat with bacon (Adjaruli Khachapuri). I had to wait for about 15 minutes. The bread for this was nice and fluffy and warm and the cheese was plentiful and very tasty. The place was empty for a Friday morning at 715 am. I did look at the dessert case and there were a number of desserts that I would have liked to try but it was a little early in the day for me. You order food at the counter and they bring it out when ready. The place is not very large and has a few tables and a counter along the wall to sit at.

THIS small cafe was exceptional!!! Everyone should try the food. The owners took time to talk with us and made sure we had everything we needed.

I had the Adjuaruli Khachapuri and tiramisu! Both were freshly made and absolutely delicious!! The man who waited on me was friendly and happy to describe the different dishes so I knew what to order. Will definitely stop back when I'm in the area again!!

Really nice people, "wow" inducing food. It's a Georgian couple making unique home-made food don't pass it up.

We shared three dishes - beef stew, drunken noodles with tofu and beef ribs. They were all really good. The ribs were meaty, slightly sweet and fell off the bone. Served with a sunny side up egg, spinach and rice. There was an egg with the stew as well and it made the dish feel silky. The beef seemed slow cooked and the basmati rice went well. The tiramisu was solid, light and airy and very pretty plating. Service was a little apathetic, but the food was good enough to offset. Reasonable prices too. Would definitely go back if we lived here.

It is truly incredible and has ruined other ramen for me because of how good it is. I compare every ramen I get to it and they never measure up. If you do not really have a tolerance for spice, you can ask for it less spicy. We also got the chicken and duck rolls, both are very good. I do not know if there is a menu item in this restaurant that's bad. The seafood explosion is delicious and so is the popcorn chicken. We've had the cheesecake, the truffle bomb, and the lava cake, once again, all amazing.

The servers and front of house workers are pleasant and eager to help. The restaurant is rather small with very little seating and a small bar. I had a group of 7 for our Supper Club and they took us shortly after opening so that they could better serve us. Our waitress was super helpful with suggestions and answered any questions that we had about the menu. She was helpful and accommodating, not to mention patient with all of our questions! We indulged in multiple appetizers, different entrées, and even dessert. Here's my review of each part of the meal: Smoked Chicken Pierogies: These pierogies were different and delicious. They were super flavorful, but they were unique and worthy of trying! Foccacia: I cannot say enough good things about their foccacia. It was perfectly soft and plump and included 3 unique dipping sauces that blew me away: red pepperonata, whipped ricotta pepper honey, and pomegranate molasses. I couldn't believe how good all of it tasted! Mustard Glazed Salmon: This dish came with butternut squash hummus & grains. The salmon was cooked perfectly and flavored well with the mustard. I didn't love the grains and the hummus was underwhelming, but it was a unique dish. Blackberry & Pumpkin Crepes: These Crepes were flavorful and delicious. The pumpkin was not overly spiced up so this was a perfect light dessert to end our meal. The blackberry Crepes weren't as flavorful but delicious and nice to try. Other people in my group had the fall lasagna, diver scallops, pub burger, and bolognese, and all dishes got rave reviews! I also had a Pumpkin Espresso Martini. The flavor was great. I was disappointed in the overly salted rim and the lack of espresso beans on top, but I'd drink it again because it was delicious overall. This place was a welcomed surprise and the flavor combinations were unique and different. This place is definitely something to talk about!

This is one you can count on for service and friendliness with a menu and buffet that will, for sure, satisfy any hunger craving you might have. A host or hostess out front will seat you and we never waited more than a minute. Servers will come immediately to fill a drink order and then the options begin. At breakfast, if you are famished, you can choose a buffet that will cure you of your affliction- all sorts of things you would normally expect- scrambled eggs, meat and toast and granola and cereal- you get the picture. You can also ask your server for a specialty omelette of your choosing or eggs made a certain way. Or choose to eat from a breakfast lunch or dinner menu. We ate in the morning twice and in the evening twice as well and always loved our meals. The buffet for kids is about $20 and for adults about $10 more. If your little one is a small appetite critter, consider eating of the menu. Prices for menu options were more that reasonable and portions matched even my humongous appetite. Tables and booths throughout can handle any sized party so if you're traveling with family and friends, they will almost assuredly be able accommodate you. Good value for food and service.

We stopped in after checking out the shopping outlets in the area. We did make reservations prior to dining to make sure we had a table. Parking is a bit of a hassle but that's no fault of the restaurant. Fire and grain is located inside the Hershey lodge. Mostly all parking spots are taken up by the hotel guests so it's a bit tricky to find open parking. We had a party of 4 dining that night. Very friendly staff , especially when we had questions about the menu. We chose to start off with the burrata appetizer. We thought it would be a nice size to split with 4 but it turned out to be quite small. Only 1 slice of bread , small drizzle of balsamic and just 2 cherry tomatoes cut in half and maybe a half handful of arugula. Maybe make this a bit larger of a portion as a starter. For entree I chose the pappardelle bolognese - house made fresh pasta , Italian sausage and short rib ragu with ricotta cheese. Needed a bit more of the sausage and short rib but still very good. My wife had the shrimp Alfredo. Very tasty as well with plenty of shrimp and another delight with the house made pasta which takes it to another level. A surprise was that the tails were already removed from the shrimp to make it easier to enjoy. For dessert we'd share the chocolate peanut buttter mousse cake! So rich but so delicious! Another great treat! Be sure to stop in and check this place out if you're in town visiting Hershey,PA.

We've have oysters that were not great out this way so we were nervous, but Rubicon delivered excellence! Next we had the truffle toast special and their octopus. What an amazing pair. The octopus was an absolute delight. It wasn't over cooked and the yucca it was served with was a great compliment to it. The toast was so light and rich at the same time. The truffle added such beautiful depth and complexity without being physically dense. For our mains I had the filet special with mushrooms and my partner had the lamb. Both were perfectly cooked, seasoned, and served. I'll be dreaming of the mushrooms that were served with my steak for weeks to come. We finished off our dinner with the dark chocolate lava cake and two espresso martinis. Both of which were stunning. The cake was moist and not too sweet like some chocolate cakes can be and the espresso martini was perfectly balanced. Rubicon is worth the drive if you're not local and worth the money if you are.
