The stylists are all very nice people with good manners and pleasant personalities. The owner, Katie, is a great person and the stylists are all happy working at Beautique. Krysta specializes in blonding and has done baby lights for me and foils. She also cuts hair and helped me rehab my hair after a different salon really butchered my hair and over processed myI've been completely happy and satisfied with Krysta as my stylist. The salon itself is cute and chic! Very well appointed and a very welcoming atmosphere and ambience. They do carry hair care products and tools, as well as some bespoke clothing items and other small gifts, some of which are handcrafted locally. I discovered the salon through photos shared by women I grew up with as a kid. Their hair looked amazing and I'm so happy I decided to become a client here.

That includes an amazing wash with scalp massage and a blowout. Prices are high. Tipping is expected on top of that. And you're getting charged extra to finish the service - which is the blowout. You have no idea how your color and cut look until it's blown out! The website it very generic and desperately needs updating. There is no list of services and there are no prices. Book an appointment is an email form, it's NOT an appointment booking app which ARE available and widely used. There's not even a list of stylists and their specialties.

I really value the time Jenny takes to communicate and explain what I can expect and what my options are based on my history and goals. I have always wanted lighter hair but was always afraid of the potential damage of this process. Thankfully, Jenny always prioritized my hair health! It took us 3 sessions to get to my current goal of VERY light blonde and through it all, Jenny did what was needed to keep my hair long and strong. It felt easy to trust Jenny with my hair as she explained everything to me along the way. She's also very open to feedback so I was very comfortable letting her know when my color goals changed. She was very flexible and got me to my new goals. I absolutely love my new hair; there's so much depth and the colors of my hair blend so smoothly. I also really appreciate how seriously the salon takes COVID-19 protocols. They do not permit walk-ins and do not double book so there is never anyone waiting for a session in the salon. The chairs are well spaced out and they seem to plan it so that not all the chairs are occupied to maintain more than adequate social distancing. At arrival, customer temps are taken and we're instructed to wash our hands before taking a seat. Each chair is immediately wiped down after each service and masks are required while in the salon. I think it's great that they do everything they can to make the customers feel safe.

This time, the process felt unprofessional. The salon was empty except for us three. After Courtney applied the foils, both stepped away and when they returned, I noticed a strong, skunk-like smell. With foils already in my hair, Courtney asked again what shade I wanted, even though I'd been clear from the start. I also had made it known that I have not had any dye or bleach since my last visit there. She called to the other stylist in the back for a 'shade book' which never appeared. Later, as she rinsed the bleach, she suddenly asked if I had color in my hair, noting it was coming out darker in some spots. This made me worry. When I raised concerns, they dismissed them. You can be the judge because I uploaded before and after photos. Once dried, my hair ended up a uniform brown rather than the blonde I requested. It looked like something I could have done at home with a box dye and the texture felt weird once I washed it at home. I had chosen a professional because bleaching is risky and I was finally ready to invest in maintaining blonde. The assistant called someone, perhaps the owner, seemingly unable to handle the situation themselves. No action no apology to fix the issue; instead, it was blamed on my hair being 'grayer' than last visit. Even if true, a professional should assess it accurately. More color was suggested, but I know color cannot lift color. With the chemicals already in my hair, I didn't want further damage especially immediately after this. I don't have a big, beautiful mane, I was just trying to maintain what little I have safely, paid full price and left frustrated. I enjoy leaving positive reviews, but I can't this time. That's why I took a "before" photo because I truly expected great results again. Three weeks later, I noticed my photos are no longer visible in the gallery. Because of that, I may need to share them elsewhere. I hope the information helps others.

You never know what to expect, and hope they are going to "get" what vibe you want for your hair. Not just do whatever they want. So when sitting down for the first time in Jon's chair, I admit I was a little nervous. But.... I worried for nothing! Jon was simply amazing! I have never ever had a stylist take as much time getting to know me and my hair.....BEFORE...doing a single thing to my head. He truly is a master stylist. He listens, he looks, he feels, he studies, and then he creates! I could not have been happier with how my hair came out! And the biggest compliment was....my husband loves my new hair style! Now what more could you ask for from your stylist!

She asks lots of questions to get to know your skin, your issues, products you're currently using, and places an emphasis on organic products. She even includes brief periods of massage, making this the ultimate relaxation experience. This was the first time that I had a facial and didn't break out into hives or a rash afterwards, so clearly, her faith the products she uses is well placed. Extractions weren't painful, and it's clear from the way she speaks about skin that she knows her stuff. If I still lived in the area, I'd be booking appointments with Nicole regularly! Facilities for the spa are surprisingly bigger than you would think seeing the entrance, as the salon is within a strip mall. However, the spa is in a separate back area and quite spaceous.
