I would say this salon is NOT worth the price. I had a consultation a week before. I had been clear about what I wanted. The color was ok. It wasn't exactly the photo and discussion I had with the stylist but she didn't turn my hair orange so I could live with it. After the washing, the stylist asked me what I wanted to do. I knew she had clients waiting. I still wanted a blow out. She seemed semi annoyed. I'm 53, that was the worst blow out ever. She had seemingly no clue. She just waved the hairdryer back and forth. My hair like a rats nest. She then flat ironed it. It's didn't not go well. Not wanting to spend more time there, I left. I came home and fixed it myself. At the price of 276.00. I should have NOT had to style it myself. Avoid this place and it's high prices. You can get better salon service and results elsewhere. read more

I attempted to schedule an appt because I thought the owner Zee had a nice picture of a short cut, after being asked if I was referred, and I said no; I was told she would not take any new clients. I found it to be very poor customer service that you can't see the owner if you are not referred? It does however beg the question of character of the owner and integrity of a business. read more

Splitenz is a beautiful salon with the most lovely staff. I visited the salon in January 2023 for a wig fitting. Losing my hair has been devastating. Looking like myself is so important during the tough road I am on. The owner, Zee, is an expert in wigs. Her kindness and sincerity made this a pleasant experience. I walked into the salon not feeling good about my appearance and walked out feeling like a million dollars. Zee helped me navigate through the many wig options until together we found one that was perfect and natural--looks and feels like my real hair. I am forever grateful to Zee and Splitenz and highly recommended that everyone give them a try. read more

I called the salon today to book a haircut appointment. The gal Carol who answered the phone was quite unpleasant and sounded annoyed that I was bothering her to make an appointment. When I asked for a particular stylist the answer I received was No. I asked why and was told that that stylist books out at least 6 weeks. She never suggested someone else. I could not believe her attitude. I believe that this salon needs someone who is pleasant to people and should be trained in providing good customer service. Needless to say I will not be making any appointments at Splitenz Salon in Clinton. read more

I am so happy I finally found a good hair salon! When I called to make my appointment, the receptionist was so pleasant. She asked about my hair texture and recommended a hair stylist for me. I had a good feeling about the place because sometimes the receptionists are rude, or they just put you with anyone available in the salon. I thought it was a good sign that she asked me all these questions before setting up the appointment. I had Sue Marie and she was awesome. She was very nice, and made good recommendations for my hair. I really loved my cut, and will definitely be going back again to see her. read more

As a cancer survivor, I had the privilege to model in a calendar that the owner creates to raise money for a foundation that provides quality, attractive wigs for women with cancer. Impressed with the altruism, I decided when my hair grew back I would frequent this salon. Jessica had been amazing with cut and color and I always leave feeling beautiful and pampered. Waiting for a great special occasion so she can do my make up as well. Very happy with this salon. read more

I found this studio on Yelp since I was visiting the area. I am very particular about my hair and was looking for a specific look and was very impressed with the stylist. She really knew what she was doing and recommended my hair be cut a certain way based on how thick my hair is. I would definitely go back if I'm ever in that area and need a haircut! read more

Zee is nothing short of a miracle worker. She is truly amazing. I have trouble finding the words to express how gifted she is. I was quickly made to feel beautiful and comfortable with myself. I moved to this area a couple years ago but was still traveling an hour away to see my old hairdresser (I guess I'm loyal). The other week I decided to try this place out. I saw a new hair dresser, Jess, and I'm incredibly pleased with her work! Everyone in the salon is friendly, cheery, and down to earth! I really loved the cut she gave me and loved the atmosphere of the salon- even the receptionist was a sweetheart! I'm so happy I went here and will definitely be as loyal to this place as I was to my old one!! read more
