In the end I had a to find a new office. My husband's filling hasn't lasted a year. Makes me think they are either not using the best materials or don't do the best job. Otherwise they are very friendly and pleasant, but the dental work just isn't done properly.

They did a ton of X-rays which I thought was odd but just went with it since I was a new patient. When I was done they told me I had to wait to meet with the receptionist to talk about my bill which I thought was weird. I waited an extra 15 mins in waiting room. I ended up getting a bill for around $300. When I called my insurance to ask if I choose the wrong dentist they told me no they shouldn't be charging as they accept the insurance max payment. Insurance also told me they did 2 X-rays that are exactly the same and coded the same so insurance can only pay for one which they shouldn't do. Which I think is something to be wary of. Overall I feel like if I didn't call my insurance and just paid the bill I would have been over paying them and it's very shady. For now I'll stay there but I'm planning on checking the EOB and bill carefully and not accepting any extra services.

I've started declining them because my last one was just a few months ago, earlier this year. It wasn't Dr. Ellen who saw me today. Instead, it was Annalek and a young male Indian doctor. Both of them kept encouraging me to get another x-ray and also suggested that I replace my veneers with theirs, which felt unnecessary to me. Since I get cleanings every three months, you'd think there wouldn't be much to clean. But I've never bled so much during a dental cleaning--it felt almost like I'd had an oral surgical procedure with no anesthesia. It was painful. The technician was scrubbing very aggressively, and afterward the doctor told me my gums were inflamed--well, no surprise there. My mouth was so sore I couldn't eat until the next day. At my next appointment, I don't want either of them attending to me. And honestly, they should NEVER pressure people to buy veneers or push for x-rays every visit. It felt overly aggressive, especially since they don't even know whether I'm in a position to pay for something like that. I know what you did there.

There are some baby teeth still in place b/c there were no second teeth coming. He is missing teeth, but has no discomfort or inability to chew food. He sent us away w/o finishing his exam. Follow by ADA (American Dental Associations) dentists can make this procedure only once per 3 years, but my doctor did it twice in 6 months. Also debriedement should take more that half hour and it is at least 2 visits procedure. Both times "she did it" in one day and less that 20 minutes. I know it's fraud. I just want my money back. Also I have receipts from Viktory Dental with different amounts and procedures from receipts that Delta Dental sended to me.

She advised that I take antibiotics and a mouth wash to clear up the infection and to come back in a few weeks to do the cleaning. She didn't want to disrupt anything that was going on with the pain in my tooth. She never made me feel bad for having not seen a dentist in a while and welcomed me with a warm smile and advice. Anyone is who afraid of the dentist should come to this office. She is so welcoming, warm, and sweet!

In fact, one of the three receptionists gives you booties to put over your shoes as soon as you walk in. You could probably eat off of the floors here. Everything here was PRISTINE. Also, it was pretty spacious inside, with each "station" having a good amount of space and privacy. Also, they have some top of the line equipment here. They took xrays of my mouth, and it wasn't that uncomfortable, "bite down on this little square that cuts your mouth up while we line an xray up with the circle" things, it was a machine that just rotated around my head. Easy peasy. The DENTIST spoke perfect english, and was very pleasant, so maybe you won't have an issue there. I was specifically sent there for a independent examination, so this isn't my dentist, and it is so far from me, I won't be making it my dentist, BUT, if you lived in this area, and they took your insurance, I'm not sure why you'd go anywhere else. Seriously, from the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once you open that door, it's top notch.
