Not only did she 'correct' me on several occasions when I was referring to IV possibilities, saying 'AGAIN, LIKE I SAID BEFORE, ITS IM THERAPY', at least 8 different times, but she treated me like a child over the phone. I'm 52, almost 53, so I've got more patience than I want to possess. Gabi is NOT recommended for a quick 15min call. I'd rather talk to my Dog. Gabi, also interrupted me MULTIPLE TIMES & stated with disdain, 'LET ME FINISH WHAT I'M SAYING!', as if I interrupted her with an expression of not understanding her overly bearing phone etiquette. Gabi needs to LEARN & REALIZE that she is NOT above patients or just people in general. I WAS looking forward to the call, but she caused me even MORE C-PTSD & ANXIETY than any other Mental Health Clinic ever has. She also hung up on me towards the end! I was wishing her a great rest of her upcoming weekend, but before I could wish her well, (which I had to really keep my disappointment & frankly, high blood pressure that was rising inside of me in at bay). The staff can be quite unreliable in regards to paperwork and keeping up with appointments. It took a whole month before i was able to get my medicine due to something as simple as the dude at the desk to fax a form. Its crazy considering of how small it is and the even smaller amount of patients.To make it worse, there are no nurses to handle paperwork so that job falls squarely on the reception staff or in my case, the doctor himself. Dr. Reveron has changed my life for the better. That i can admit. The new medicine that he prescribed worked immediately and i have seen an immense change.

CBT is a scientifically-based on the fields of Psychology and Psychiatry which proven evidence has been verified through journal articles, research studies and ongoing treatments. A decision to not going to EBS is a great disservice to the mental and emotional health of a person. It does get better if a person surrenders to CBT. Batenburg has had my child on her schedule for 5 months without even reaching out to my child's therapist of three years to gain background information. Completely unprepared and unprofessional. She took information that I volunteered to her and used it against me, as well as readily taking my $700 for those initial two visits. I am a single mother dealing with a child with serious trauma for three years. I have gotten her the absolute best help I knew to get with professionals helping me make the hard decisions. This woman took maybe 20 minutes total in these two sessions to talk with me about my child. Her job is to gather as much information and history from the other professionals working with our children, then make educated decisions and recommendations for care. Batenburg has had no time, and taken no measures to truly understand the depth of our situation and when she said, "I think I will have to file with CPS for neglect", I was dumbfounded. She then quickly ushered my child and I out of her office. This is the first Google review I have ever left but I want to share this information with any other parents who have been in the trenches with a child, trying their best to keep that child alive.
