We were headed back to Ponce from Boqueron and needed to fill up the rental crossover with gas and saw this cute Italian place next door and decided to eat dinner there and take a break from all of the PR food we had been eating for our meals.
It doesn't look much from the outside as there is a dirt parking lot with no lines (pretty much freestyle). Upon walking in, the ambience and decor is lovely! Very upscale without being pretentious nor requiring a dress code. We were greeted promptly and the server took our orders.
We started off with the bruschetta and these were huge pieces of full sized toast, not lil baguettes. I would suggest this app for 3 or more people. It was delicious and had an awesome balsamic glaze drizzled over it.
BFF ordered the spinach ravioli, which was 8 pieces and didn't look like much but he said it was filling and tasty! I ordered the veggie pizza (they all come in 12" pies) & it was big and very tasty with lots of gooey cheese and fresh tomatoes and spinach. Sadly, we did not have dessert as we were stuffed!
Staff was excellent and very attentive. Dining room and the entire restaurant was very clean with wonderful upscale decor, and the bathrooms were excellent. This was by far a standout and surprise gem! I definitely recommend! read more
