This a fantastic family owned farm to table restaurant with a great origin story... Everything we had was outstanding. The standouts for me were the stuffed dates and the French Onion Soup! I'd say this was the best French Onion Soup I've ever had. The filet was locally sourced and excellently prepared. The Moroccan Shish Kabob was wonderfully seasoned. We both really appreciated that the entrees are full plated meals with veggie and choice of potato. This said the starters are not to be overlooked. We didn't have room for dessert, but next time. I also want to say the drink menu was really diverse and reasonable priced as was the entire menu given this is a boutique fine dining experience. A dining experience not easily found in the area. I agree with the reviews. My ravioli was fresh and my husband's steak was great. My spinach salad could have been tossed with more dressing. The most impressive cocktail menu I've ever seen. The reason for the three stars was they automatically tack on a gratuity. Not only that but there's a reminder on the table of what "gratuity" is and the server also reminded us of the automatic 20% tip. If you think anyone is going to drop $180 (our bill) and not tip, you need to take restaurant 101 again. Very unprofessional. read more

Wonderful restaurant with farmhouse feel. The dinner was cook to perfection and well detailed. Drink cocktails were made top notch. The desserts were homemade and delicious. Restaurant is owned by a wonderful family. Chef came by and talked to us. Definitely coming back to explore more of the menu. read more

How many gold stars can a person give a place? Max # is what Farm and Hearth gets from us. We've been here several times and it's been a delight from the time we walk in the door until we waddle out. The service is top notch, food is so delicious, atmosphere is unique and quaint. High quality experience. This is a lovely family- run storefront bistro with a great cocktail menu, creative dishes, and warm, friendly service. We loved everything we tried, and particularly recommend the Brussels sprouts, brick chicken and s'mores dessert, which was unforgettable. Beautiful interior setting with fresh flowers, making it relaxing to review the menu and choose from great locally sourced food. Well prepared, well presented and all four of us found our dishes fantastic. The preparations of the multiple fish on the menu was better than 99% of restaurants on the coasts.
