The place is a bar, yes, but it has a warm welcoming feeling and is very family friendly. Our server scored a 10 on the happy scale and was attentive & accurate. We both ordered the October burger special named The French Connection. Nicely cooked burger with loads of caramelized onions and melty cheese. The place was closed or a prop because there was no one working and it was empty on a Saturday afternoon. Yelp has no hours or a phone number so I couldn't even figure out when to come back or if they are a real bar, I did like the novelty and I really wanted have a beer here.

The atmosphere really makes this place stand out. It has a fun, retro vibe that's been well kept--a classic, cute bowling alley with a small arcade and a pool table. There were only like 6-7 more people in the bar other than us. They sneered and snickered like foolish schoolgirls (and not all of them were girls). One lady ran into me, seemingly on purpose. So we played our few games of pool and still had fun. Then we bounced. I won't ever go back there if I'm visiting Baraboo and I'm happy to say that not only did I not give this place any money, but my friends didn't tip for their drinks.
