This place was a really great find. We had possibly the best fried cheese curds (how were they so light and the perfect texture?) plus delicious beers and fantastic sandwiches (the cuban is SO good). Highly recommended and we'll be back next time!

Great food and service! We went for my birthday dinner and we enjoyed a wonderful meal. First the appetizers and drinks arrived. Then came the salads. We were just finishing the salads when the main dishes arrived. The food all arrived fresh and hot. Our waitress kept our water glasses and beverages full. I would recommend this restaurant.

Korean grain bowl. Wish I would have taken a picture before mixing it up-it was so pretty!

THE BEST BURGERS!!!! Fat and juicy like my late 20's. Get their soup du jour. it's their soup of the day.

I have always been impressed with people that can remember names. While he must meet 100's of people daily, he not only remembered us while arriving, he was there to greet us as we left and in-between checking on us during the meal. Yes, there is a wait, so get there early. It's more than worth the wait! Thanks ISHNALA & Bob. Paul & Stacy Monroe, WI.

Our server, Csenge, was a superstar! So friendly, kind, and knowledgeable, in addition to appearing at just the right times to check in. For entrees we had the prime rib with lobster and asparagus, as well as horseradish encrusted new york strip with sweet potato bake. I highly enjoyed my prime rib and lobster, they were both delicious and a true treat. My husband had steak in front of him one minute and it seemed the next time I glanced over, it was gone. One thing he savored was the sweet potato bake; we've never seen that on a supper club menu to date and he insisted I try it as he loved it that much. As we were finishing our meal, the owner came over to our table to check in and inquire as to how we enjoyed the experience as well as our food. That's a very rare touch in today's day & age. When we were heading to our vehicle after dinner, my hubby said tonight's date night was one he'd always remember.

Stopped by Monk's Bar & Grill for a late lunch in the Dells and so glad we did!…read more Located right on Broadway in the heart of the Wisconsin Dells, Monk's serves up pub grub in a comfortable bar setting. When you walk in, you're immediately met with the bar. They do have additional seating but you have to make your way past the bar to find it. We decided to sit at the bar and were happy for the low key atmosphere while we enjoyed a cocktail and some lunch. For my cocktail, I ordered a Manhattan which was decently made. For my lunch, I got the bbq chicken wrap, which was great. I got fries on the side which were also crispy and delicious. The kitchen is adjacent to and can be seen from our perch at the bar, which was nice to see our food being prepared. All in all, this is a great casual spot for a beverage and a bite on any trip to the Dells. Get to it!

Just be ready to squeeze in The decor is the first thing you notice. The walls and ceiling are practically plastered with local apparel, and for whatever reason, there's a heavy monkey theme going on with all the gear. It gives the place a great, unpretentious, classic Wisconsin dive bar vibe. The menu keeps it simple: standard, no-nonsense bar food. We're talking burgers, baskets, and fried sides. Service was surprisingly snappy given that it was shoulder-to-shoulder at the bar. If you want a quiet, intimate dinner, this isn't it. But if you want cold drinks, killer curds, and a vibrant crowd, it's easily a solid four-star stop on the strip. I'd definitely grab a beer here again. the burgers claimed that they were world famous but topping your burgers is a little strange, they charge 25 cents for tomatoes and lettuce
