I think they really need to look into their fridges.. I once got custard tarts that expired a couple of days before the day I bought but was ok with it as it was the best before date and wasn't too far and also was in the fridge. Today (Jun 30) I picked up the chicken samosas and was shocked to see that the best before date was June 6 (yes past 3+ weeks) I have always been to this location and it does seem to me that they are not really taking care of their products/throwing out the expired ones

Very disappointed that they actually sell American food yet they advertise them as originating from other countries. I spoke to the manager and he could not have cared less. It doesn't seem to make a difference if we want to avoid purchasing US products when managers force us to buy their food.

Can I just say that i bought the farm boy Tumeric and Cauliflower Keto soup and it might be one of the best soups I have ever had. One of the staff of the Aurora store recommended it to me and now I'm going back to buy a dozen more. Try it you will be so happy. Cozy soup for cold November rainy days.

in chicken fried rice I got papper towel or plastic, take care when you having... And the food is not good, there is no option to hot it, they serve me as chill

I was driving over to The Empanada Company and my head turned seeing this Farm Boy. I had heard about its grand opening months ago, but was never in this part of town to drop by. After my visit to fetch some empanadas, I drove over to get some groceries. This Farm Boy location is the closest one to my workplace. It makes taking Highway 427 straight down to this location easy. If you are a fan of this franchise, it is set up the same way. You hit the produce section immediately when you first walk in, with the snacks, beer, and various dips next door. I love the swinging gorilla. It brings joy to me as I shop. This store is exceptionally busy with shoppers. Some of them seem to not know to move off to the side when they are blocking an entire aisle simply standing there like rocks. It was odd. It happened to me a good four time during my brief stay here. I needed to get some celery. It's crazy how expensive it is these days. However, I liked how healthy and fresh the celery was. The vegan selection continues to grow. I got a small tub of Yummy Doh raw cookie dough in banana chocolate. I like the flavours. There is more sugar in it than I like. It has both regular and brown sugars that goes for $8. There were also tons of vegan cookies and meatless protein options. The hot foods area looked amazing. The bakery section gets my two thumbs up. I got a box of s'mores bars hat was fifty cents off. They are delicious! The cashier who helped me with my purchases asked if I needed a plastic bag. I was good and happily walked with my items to my car. I paid using a debit card. There is plenty of parking in this plaza. I got a decent parking spot at around 4:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon. It does get busy, so bring your patience. I am pleased that Etobicoke now has a Farm Boy. I am used to a more relaxed experience shopping around at the ones in Pickering, Whitby, and Waterloo, though. Customers here seem to be less friendly and more interested in themselves, which dampened my experience. In front of the store, there were two boys representing the Navy League of Canada. They were in uniform and had collection boxes. They didn't say a peep to anyone going into the store. Coming out of the store, I made a donation and said hi. Both of them said nothing. I got my paper tag, said thanks, and still didn't get a word out of them. Maybe it's a local thing here. Weird. (155)

NO APPLE in Apple Fruit Sticks.

Bought these Apple Fruit Sticks on Monday July 24, 2023. There was absolutely NO apple filling in any of the 6 in the package. They were nothing but pastry. I'll feed them to my dogs. The Valumart on Lakeshore is less crowded and has better pricing.

Well I was just in yesterday... And bought some baked goods that were do unbelievably great, I had to do another update! So. I bought a box of six "cruffies". Cruffies are a croissant, shaped into a mufgin/knot shape, stuffed with either vanilla or lemon cream. I got the vanilla cream, and OMG.... Seriously! Highly recommended. And they last 4 days.... Not that you'll be able to resist them for that long!! I also tried a couple of the panini... Black Forest ham and brie, steak ceaser salad wrap...... Awesomeness! And good prices at $6.99 and $5.99 respectively. Plus, all sandwiches are half off from 7 pm! Which I only learned last night! Goddess of grammar signing off...!

I first heard of Farm Boy from my niece who works at one in Ottawa. She loves working there preparing foods. So I had to get to one eventually. This location did not disappoint. Bright, spacious (but not a large store), friendly people working there plus just a great selection of good food. I am a sucker for good premise sauces. I also grabbed some wild caught fish, organic chicken and organic f&v. Organic berries were priced similarly to my local Longos. Snagged some vegan peanut butter cookies, lemon blueberry sorbet and St Albert cheese for my kid. Because of the distance, I would only go occasionally, but I am glad that I went.

Farmboy is an in-between wholefoods and trader Joe's. I really appreciate the made in canada products and their own farmboy line. You could spend hours in here just looking and reading every item pondering "oh what is that? I've never heard of that before!" They have a huge lunch hotplate zone for anyone who works in etobicoke!
