Started my trip to Nashville by walking around Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park early in the morning. Then, before our first tourist attraction, we stopped by the very popular Nashville Farmers Market for a little pick-me-up from Farm City Coffee. I don't remember what I got, but I remember it was hot and it was delicious. It was one of their Christmas time flavors. I asked them about sweetness levels, and they helped me identify the perfectly level of sweetness for me. I enjoyed that coffee all throughout my walk to the bus stop and for many stops of the hop-on-hop-off tour that morning. I was very pleased, and I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Went on a Sunday morning out of the blue and was pleasantly surprised to find parking at the Farmer's Market! The coffee shop is located inside the building and is air conditioned which is a plus! Pretty short line when I was there and the staff was quick and friendly! I got the Iced Peanut butter and Blackberry latte and it tasted like peanut butter and jelly in a late form in the best way possible! I took a trip to the farmers market with my family and decided that I wanted some coffee and began to walk around to see if there was any local shops set up on the inside. I then stumbled upon Farm city coffee and ordered the sweet cream cold foam cold brew coffee. I wasn't asked what size I wanted so I assume the pictured size is the average size, which was perfect for a mid day pick me up. The coffee was amazing! I didn't need to add anything to it, just drank it how it came and the flavor was so rich and good, just overall good coffee. The decorations and cute signs in their little area were nice and contributed to the overall bright atmosphere in the market. I don't ever start my reviews with product, but y'all...you got to know that I had the best Iced White Chocolate Mocha I have ever had from this spot! So, if you stop reading my review at this point and have made the decision to go ahead and hit up Farm City, then you are making one of the best decisions of your day...and if you decide to hang around and read a little bit more before getting your coffee, then that is an equally fantastic decision! Farm City Coffee is located in the Nashville Farmers Market, in the heart of the food court of the place! Once you get inside the market, it doesn't matter which door brought you in, after a few steps the signage for Farm City Coffee comes in view and you officially know you have made it! Farm City is set up as a small counter spot that is located on a corner, so you order at the front and step a few feet to the left to get your completed order. While it is small in size, they have packed a lot into the space and use their corner quite well! In addition to the obvious coffee goods and regalia, they also have a quaint merch area that is outlined with adorable plants and signage. Additionally, they have a pastry container, as well as a specialty drink case lining the counter too. The menu board hands over head so you can start to decide on what you want the moment you enter the market! As mentioned above, I opted for the Iced White Mocha. I was a tad hesitant as it is a Buttermilk Iced White Mocha, but I was really craving this drink and decided "when in Nashville" and went for it. Legit best decision I made during my entire trip to Nashville! This drink was perfectly balanced and had such a rich depth in its flavor that allowed you to taste the coffee and mocha as they blissfully combined to make this beautiful cup of coffee. I circled back around on my way out of town to grab another cup and try to hang on to that feeling for as long as possible! Outside of the drink I mentioned, they really specialize in creative cups of joe. I saw signs for CBD infused coffee, as well as Bourbon hinted brews! In addition to coffee, it appears they have some teas, sodas and a few other things that may pique the non-coffee drinkers interests! While I do not know the full story of Farm City Coffee, I did notice that they are all about their local communities and try to source as much as they can from the spots that made it all possible. This includes the bourbon from Kentucky and other items, such as the milk, being from Nashville. Overall, this was a great spot and I am very happy that I found it! I got a delicious cold brew with oat milk and my wife and I shared a pumpkin chocolate chip loaf. The pumpkin loaf was great. Very dense, super moist and full of fall flavor. Get here early to avoid long lines and if you're looking for something a little more hearty, Farm City also offers breakfast sandwiches. I would recommend the Doublewide. A huge breakfast sandwich that comes with peppered Bourbon bacon... Need I say more? After you grab your coffee, walk outside and take a stroll through Bicentennial Park. Friends and I were in town for the day and wanted a little pick me up. They have such a unique variety of coffees to choose from on their menu! When visiting Nashville for the very first time, this was one of the very first places we tried. We bought the Rose Gold Mocha, the Toasted Coconut Mocha, and the Grass-fed Butter Coffee. The latter was the most awful thing I put in my mouth - it simply tasted like hot coffee-flavored butter and had a greasy/oily aftertaste. However, the Rose Gold Mocha and the Toasted Coconut Mocha was amazing! This coffee joint also sold some gluten free muffins from Acme and Seed. I specifically went to the Farmer's Market to visit this coffee shop after reading reviews. I was staying within walking distance so it really was a no brainer! Since I visited on a weekday, there was not a line and service was speedy. This is the cutest little set-up as well. I loved the welcoming feeling of the fun, painted wall. The staff were very helpful and answered all of my questions about their specials. I ordered a sugar free vanilla latte because I wasn't feeling too adventurous. I wasn't expecting anything extra since I've had many versions of this beverage, however, I must say I was surprised. The espresso flavor came through and mixed perfectly with the vanilla creating the perfect blend. I highly recommend Farm City Coffee if you are ever in Nashville. Ohh my wow, both so good! And that coffee i swear tasted like real whiskey, not just an essence...smooth and strong. Love at first sip. So good I drag my god daughter back there the next day (she is of legal age as she is at Tennessee State in Nashville :) Now obsessed with this coffee I read about the humble beginnings, operating until recently from a truck. Established itself and their solid reputation as "The Trailer Perk" while perfecting their coffee for over five years. Owner Amy Croger's family hails from Kentucky and makes sure 97 percent of her inventory is locally sourced. Love that there are many tea options as well as a turmeric latte. And yes, they do offer bourbon, Kentucky bourbon, as an add on to their coffee drinks! Be sure to request for that add on !
