This is such a cute hidden gem coffee shop in East Nashville! I absolutely loved the greenery, merch and unique flavors they had for coffee. Notably, they had the cutest coffee served in a honey bear cup! For my order, I went with the cloud matcha with watermelon water. This was super refreshing for a hot day, it was a great mix of the matcha earthiness and the freshness of the watermelon water. I will say that the pricing is a bit steep at this shop, I really just got a matcha cold foam with watermelon water and this cost around $9 with tax. For me, that's a bit too expensive but the drink itself tasted great and the staff was super friendly! read more

One of my go-to matcha spots! Their seasonal matchas are always fun and delicious (The banana bread matcha might have been my favorite, but the ube is also great!). I always steal a sip of my partner's coffee, and it's also great. There is limited seating, so this is more of a grab-and-go spot. Always a fan of the honey bear latte and the matcha lattes, and have never had a bad thing to say about any of the breakfast burritos! The baristas are nice and friendly and the wait time for food and beverages are pretty normal. I grabbed a 32oz honey bear batch to take home, but sadly it was spoiled upon opening. I got a specialty lemon latte here that was super unique and delicious! It seems they often rotate special flavors and I would love to try more. You can order inside or outside. A friend introduced me to Elegy over the summer, and I fully get the hype now! I've ordered coffee and food from this location twice in the last few months, and both times was impressed by the consistent preparation and tasty flavors. Most recently, I ordered the Pumpkin Honey Bear and the Elegy Burrito with sausage instead of bacon. I've had the regular Honey Bear, and I think I prefer the pumpkin! It's a little more expensive to get the bear bottle, but worth it in my opinion because you can split it between two people or save it for the next day. The Elegy Burrito is delicious - one of my new favorite hearty breakfast options in East. It's filled with eggs, cheese, black beans, meat of your choice, sweet potatoes, and an amazing cilantro crema. You even get some salsa for dipping/topping. It may seem a bit pricey up front, but this burrito is massive! Definitely big enough to share or save for another meal. read more

This place was a cute find! It is a little small on the inside so seating is only offered on the outside, would recommend bringing a jacket if it's a windier day cause we were cold. I paid $14 for a wrap that was mostly lettuce with tiny shreds of chicken. I don't know if they were running out of chicken, but I was expecting to have full chunks-pieces of chicken for that price. I wish I had ordered it as a bowl, because all I tasted was tortilla and lettuce. The bits of chicken were mostly the fried crumbles. The croissant sandwich was delicious, so it made the wrap especially disappointing in comparison. I ordered both at the same time and had the wrap for lunch later. read more

My second favorite, which I low-key want to gatekeep, but I won't Actually, it's my first favorite, but like I said, I wanna keep it, but I won't. Is the ice miso caramel latte with oat milk. The flavors are so bomb and out of this world I was very hesitant to try it at first, but oh my God when I want a latte this is the latte that I want. Edit: realized this review was for the Germantown location regarding the atmosphere. I loved the Cold Brew so I imagine it's the same... Atmosphere, service, cold brew, creations, all a big win! I loved the live plants and the indoor and outdoor seating options. It's by my dentist office so very convenient for me to treat myself, but it's also worth visiting more than every 6 months. It's pretty small inside but also next to the Griff apartments so there is a modern courtyard outside which offers more seating and entertainment space although technically might not be part of the coffeeshop. They made a new concoction called "The Zen" which has cucumber, mint, lemon zest and oat milk to make that coffee buzz sing in a whole new way, not to be missed! Elegy is everywhere in Nashville and for a good reason--it's fantastic. The coffee is smooth, delicious, and the matte black packaging is cool as hell! I have another favorite coffee shop in Nashville but I tried Elegy on my most recent visit and I know I'll be hitting them up on future visits. The shop we stopped by in East Nashville has outdoor seating so definitely a great place if the weather is good but otherwise you'll want to take it to go.
