Silver Fox roasts their own beans and bakes their bread daily in house, too! This place is always crowded and for good reason! Their coffee is excellent, and the ambience is phenomenal. Just a few blocks away from campus, it's always bustling with students and business people alike. I recently learned that you can place an order online, so I will probably be doing that from now on because the only downside is it's never a quick trip here during peak hours. It often gets a little bit crowded and seating is difficult, though they do have ample space for people. They also have a ton of pastry options that I would love to try one day! For now, I can definitely vouch for solid lattes, and great pulls of espresso. read more

A cute coffee shop on Music Row that has some great coffee and snacks. The inside is impeccably designed, with several options for seating including tables and couches. Their chocolate chip scone is amazing - not too sweet and perfectly baked, not too dry. Highly recommend. I've also tried their banana bread and brown sugar cinnamon pop tart. Silver fox lounge is warm, inviting, and modern. Their staff were polite and kindly let us sample the nitro cold brew when asked. Even though it wasn't on the menu, the cashier offered to create a vanilla cold foam for my nitro as well! I was thoroughly warm inside and the music wasn't too loud. Plus, conversations didn't echo too much. I'm excited to return to try the rest of their menu. Ample seating options were available, and the homemade poptarts looked great as well. I recently had a business meeting here, and can't wait to come back again soon! Along with a stunning interior, Silver Fox also carries one of my favorite local brands, Chechi's Chai. I opted for a hot Chai latte with oat milk and an extra shot of espresso. It was perfectly made and just what I needed as we get ready for fall! I noted a few other fun latte and syrup options, along with some food that I'd love to check out on my next visit! The service was friendly, and even though they were busy when we arrived, it was no problem to grab some seats on one of the leather couches by the window. I have now visited a few times and honestly. I really like this place. Definitely has the bougie vibe but I'm not mad about it. (To all my VPN working buddies their Wi-Fi supported my work laptop had no issues getting connected to my VPN) We were greeted by the lovely staff, and our baristas recommendations were spot on. I dare you to walk past the Silver Fox and not feel compelled to enter once you peek into the windows and get a glimpse of the modern, inviting space, surely a place for the most tony coffee drinkers of the world. The coffee is expertly-crafted, baristas seem to put a lot of pride and love into each cup (it's actually a pleasure to watch them make the espresso drinks, a huge departure from the slamming and dumping you witness at mass coffee chains). I had the Dizzy G, which is a rosemary black cardamom latte "with a citrus ginger punch." It is perfect, lightly sweetened and spiced, more of the cardamom/citrus notes than rosemary. It's a beautiful drink and one that makes you feel a little bit like you're celebrating your morning. The staff here is lovely and welcoming and there's plenty of seating (some of it communal on long tables). It's bright inside, great to keep you awake if you're having a study or work day. read more

I've been on the hunt for a good vanilla latte. This place makes it to the top 5. The coffee flavor was darker and deeper than other places I've been to. The latte was not too milky and had a good coffee flavor. I wish the coffee flavor was a bit stronger. Other than that, the latte was very solid. The interior is beautifully decorated in a modern way with lots of natural lighting from the big windows and great seating for studying or working. There are also plenty of outlets around the store. Parking wise, you can just park down the street for free and walk over. This is one of my favorite go-to coffee shops to get a latte and do some work. I ordered the Sidewinder 8oz hot salty whiskey caramel latte and it was phenomenal. There's definitely a generous amount of sea salt (which I personally loved), but if you're not into that, you might want something a bit milder. The whiskey caramel flavor was rich, cozy, and perfect for a chilly fall day. I also tried the signature "June" sandwich and the biscuit itself was just okay, but the combo of arugula, fried egg, bacon, and jam was spot-on. The food and coffee were both so delicious! I had a fermented pour over and it was phenomenal. I even bought a bag of beans for the road. The breakfast sandwich on sourdough was delicious. There was a charge for the sourdough but so worth it also get the white cheddar cheese on it. My husband had the harvest bowl and he loved it. This was such a delight. The owners are originally from California and have created a charming, warm environment for coffee and tea lovers. The menu has several coffee choices, but also has some looseleaf tea options. The service was excellent. Wi-Fi is readily available, power outlets, USB ports are also available throughout the café.
