This review is only on the Franklin Toast and nothing else. I loved visiting L&L Market and would love to return to Honest Coffee Roasters to try their drinks and coffee. I had already had my cup of caffeine when I arrived and needed some breakfast. This was the only spot open at 10am on a Tuesday, so I decided to go with their breakfast. I loved the variety of options available for their breakfast. From savory toasts to acai bowls, it was great. I went with the Franklin toast, which was pretty good. I think if they used a different bread, this would've elevated it more. However, the simple peanut butter and fruit toppings were tasty and the kind of breakfast I had been craving. There were seats right next to the cafe, but you could also take your toast to other tables in the market. The baristas were very sweet and took my order quickly. I found a nice booth by the coffee shop to enjoy my toast. You bus your own table when you're done, which was easy. I had a lovely breakfast at Honest Coffee Roasters.

Dropped in for a cold brew. My brother kept raving on how good their coffee is .. Decided on a cold brew and it tasted good. I can tell it was a medium roast. Def recommended.

This spot is inside L&L market. On weekdays there seems to be ample seating. This is a nice place to read a book or work on emails on the laptop. The barista was friendly and patient. Great service. The food and drinks are up to par. I had a satisfactory experience!

Had a wonderful experience here I got the canned cookie butter latte and it was YUMMY! The lady who helped me at the counter was super sweet. I also loved the look of the place super cute vibe.

I love this location! It's inviting and the baristas are amazing. They always have pretty good seasonal options but the regular menu items are great as well. It's perfect for a work space, a coffee date, or a solo day. There are other food options in the building as well.

I love this place. It's usually always full of people and the coffee and açaí bowls are always great. The team is very knowledgeable and friendly as well. This time I tried two seasonal drinks, the Mint Tulip and the Southern Bowl. I was glad to have a bowl with PEACHES in it and this was phenomenal. I love the drizzle of honey on top - it added just a little bit of extra pizazz to the entire thing. The Mint Tulip was great - but I was thinking there might be more of a taste of mint. Nonetheless, I had a great experience as always. It's a great place to sit with my MacBook to get a bit of work done.

I feel like their iced lattes are delicious here! The vibe and seating is definitely a bonus. The service is quick and easy. All the baristas are pretty knowledgeable regarding their menus drinks.

Cutest spot with lots of seating and amazingggg coffee. That is how I want my coffee to taste (bourbon caramel latte). It's in a center with lots of shops which is so cute to explore after. Parking is questionable

The coffee is consistently excellent, with a great selection of beans and brewing methods. The baristas are always friendly and knowledgeable, and they're happy to answer any questions you have about the coffee. The atmosphere is perfect for a solo study session or a casual meet-up with friends. If you're a coffee lover in Nashville, Honest Coffee is a must-visit.

Meet a friend here regularly. Always friendly staff. Seasonal drinks are always good interesting and tasty. From drip to espresso to lattes to chai to tea, everything tastes have ordered has been good. The seating in the storefront area is always full but there are plenty of tables throughout the shopping area.

I had the blueberry infused syrup iced latte - perfect balance of flavors and coffee . My brother got the cereal milk infused latte, which tastes just like cereal. Staff is amazing and the vibe is perfect for work or leisure.

Such a great little spot located inside the L&L Market. This coffee shop has ample room for lap top working or just hanging out with friends while taking a break from shopping. I went with the nitro cold brew, and this was like a rocket fuel. Yes, please! This Nitro Cold brew was very smooth with almost zero bitter aftertaste at certain points, I felt like I was sipping a Guinness. From what I could tell, the food offered here is mostly small bites. Like pastries and a few savory items. Nitro for the win!

Excellent coffee shop in L&L Marketplace great vibe. Even better coffee. Bootlegger and the standard Açaí bowl are my go to's or skip the açaí bowl and head to Five Daughters for a delicious doughnut instead.

I ordered the Cappuccino as I wanted to see how this establishment executed one of my favorite drinks. I waited a few minutes for the friendly barista to prepare my order. It was well worth it! The drink was smooth, not too hot, and offered a nutty flavor that drew me in. In fact, I consumed the entire masterpiece on my 3 minute walk back to my Airbnb. If you go, expect to order from an outdoor window. It is very popular, and I am not sure about parking. I saw one outside table that was mostly shaded in the morning light. There may be inside seating? I was in a hurry and did not notice. When you are in the Edgehill area of Nashville, you simply must visit Osa.

We managed to snag a parking spot on the street right in front of 8th & Roast, which is always a plus! There was no line when we got there - but you can tell that this is a popular spot on any day of the week. My husband and I sampled a few of their seasonal drinks - the Peppermint Bark latte, and the Pistachio latte. All of their food options sounded good (and smelled good) so we also ordered the "Old Fashioned" biscuit sandwich to-go. The coffee was delicious - I feel like there's a noticeable difference in taste from shops that roast their own beans. We also really liked the breakfast sandwich! The biscuit was thick and flaky, and the sausage, egg and cheese was warm and savory. We didn't stay indoors long - but this is absolutely the kind of coffee shop that I could see myself working remotely at for a few hours. This was a great start to the long weekend - we'll absolutely be back!

But back in 2017…read moreto 2019, I used to come here to work/study and accidentally discovered the breakfast burrito. And oh boy. I became addicted. Then COVID hit. Window pickup became a thing. That burrito was basically my emotional support animal throughout 2020. I ate it almost every damn day. It was $5.95 and genuinely one of the greatest things I had ever put in my mouth. Fast forward a few years. I hadn't had it in forever. Today I came back, craving my beloved COVID breakfast burrito. Sweet baby Jesus. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED. The audacity to call this thing a burrito should be investigated by the FBI. It's apparently wrapped in filo dough (pretty sure), which means it's baked, aggressively buttery, ridiculously doughy, and somehow almost raw underneath. This is not a burrito. This is a pastry having an identity crisis. The beans were basically the entire personality of the thing. Barely any vegetables. The egg tasted like it had been cooked twice, then sentenced to another cooking session inside the pastry. Everything was doughy, mushy, buttery, and sad. I took a few bites, stared into the distance, questioned my life choices, and eventually threw the damn thing away. And it's $10 now. Which I have absolutely no problem paying, IF THE BURRITO IS GOOD. The employees were very nice and kind, though. I don't know any of them and it seems like the whole crew is new, so this is absolutely not about them. But the only reason 8th & Roast remained on my personal breakfast map was that burrito. And now it's gone. RIP 8th & Roast breakfast burrito. 2017-2020. You were too good for this world.
