The short line ( had two people ahead and one of them didn't order drinks) moved quickly, but it took almost 20 minutes to get my drink, even though it wasn't that busy and there was only one person ahead of me that ordered drinks. Turns out most of the delay was due to online orders. Call me old-fashioned, but I think customers standing right in front of you should be served first. That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming it's clear they're just following the policies set by management. Despite the unnecessary wait, my Fireside Latte was excellent. As well as the expresso scone. I guess good things come to those who wait however I don't think I wait again .. it would have been nice if they had mentioned something. The space connects to Olive Tree and Vine that has flavored olive oil/balsamic vinegar to try as well as an ample selection of diverse wines, and local beer and ciders. When the drink arrived I had to confirm it was pistachio because I saw chocolate everywhere. The staff immediately recalled that I did not want whole milk and told me he had to re- make my drink. When it arrived for the second time the presentation was the same- it looked like a chocolate drink and not pistachio. When I took a sip I was shocked to find chunks of pistachios in the drink. I had to drink and eat the drink- interesting concept. I will say that the coffee taste on its own may be okay- however, collectively I was not a fan of this drink. They taste great, but might be less healthy than a coffee that is slushy iced based. The pastries are fresh, and from a source that seems like homemade food or from a bakery. One thing that could be improved is they could add healthy options for food. Being a diabetic, I sometimes pick a different place because of this. I may have seemed more harsh than I wanted in this review, so please try it for yourself. It is definitely my favorite place in town for coffee as of this writing.
