Spent the week in Acworth, GA while my son played baseball at LakePoint Sports and this was our favorite restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I went in thinking this was just a chain and the quality would be roughly the same as a fast food chain. Boy, was I wrong. The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit was fantastic. Honestly, I should have ordered two and skipped the cheesy grits. The biscuit was warm but held up. The sausage was flavorful, and the egg was cooked to perfection. You order at the counter, and they bring your food out, so there is not a lot of interaction with the staff. That said, the cashier was friendly, and the chef came out at some point to talk baseball with my son. Not the cheapest meal, but I happily paid a little more for this than something from McDonald's. We tried the Biscuit Belly in Acworth for breakfast today. I had never heard of this spot but apparently it is a chain with other locations out of state. We just saw it driving by and were hungry for breakfast. Price shock hit me. Yelp said $10-$20 per person and it was every bit of that and more for two breakfasts and two coffees. I guess that's not too much for a treat but I certainly couldn't afford that for breakfast on a regular basis. They were packed which was a good sign but the restaurant was chaotic. When you go in you get in line and order at the counter. Then they bring the food out. You can pick up a menu to look at while you wait in line. Service took a while but it was made to order and they were crowded. I got biscuits and sausage gravy and added eggs and a cinnamocha coffee. My wife got the avocado toastie with a praline mocha. The biscuits were ok. Not as good as what I make at home but not bad for store bought. A bit heavy not light or fluffy. But ok. At home I would have split my biscuit in half and put gravy on it open faced. They just pour gravy over the top. Not bad but changes the ratio of gravy to biscuit. The gravy is good. Not as good as what I make at home but good. Has a smokey hint that was different but really good. The avocado toast was good with a sunny side up egg that was cooked perfectly. Was searching for bagels but the location was closed on Mondays - pivoted to biscuits! I passed this on my drive and then looked it up. Looked charming for me to eat & get some work done. The atmosphere is like a charming breakfast cafe that has plenty indoor and a small outdoor patio. When you walk in, grab a menu then place your order at the counter. To-go or dine in. The counter service was pleasant and hospitable. Their menu has so many great options it's really hard to decide! I went with the G.O.A.T. chicken biscuit sandwich. Too good! Presentation and actual flavors were delightful. To drink I ordered an iced Chai Latte with oat milk that was done perfect. They play some music in the background - not loud enough where we couldn't hear your guests talking. Clean restrooms and someone likes plants because they're all around the restaurant! This area of Acworth has become more and more bougie lately, and this establishment follows that trend. It's a biscuit place (duh), but it's not a deep-fried Southern biscuit place; it's an upper middle-class beach-color-themed place, a place that cares about making your food look nice and cute when they put it on their designer plates (whereas a traditional biscuit place would just put it on the plate). With cute names for their menu items and a fast-casual atmosphere, you order at the counter, pay there (including having to pay for a tip; I'm just old-school, but I don't like paying for a tip _before_ I get any service; kind of defeats the purpose of a tip, which is supposed to be for good service), and sit down with a little sign. They bring you your food, and after you leave, you bus your table. They have a Coke fountain, but it's not working. Portion size is okay. Not huge, not small. Price is quite steep. Two of us got biscuit meals, no drinks, and it was $30 before tip. Ouch (at least to my mind). It did taste good, but I'm not sure it tasted $15/plate-breakfast-good. They have an outside deck and alcohol for breakfast/lunch drinks. If there's a market for bougie biscuits, this is the place. If you're looking for a Waffle House style biscuit establishment, this is not it. I would not recommend it, but not would I turn anyone away, as long as you know you're coughing up a fair bit of cash for designer plates of not-that-much food. Hope you enjoy if you go. read more

Went in with high hopes since they are opening one close to where I live. Drove over an hour for breakfast and I should have went with my intuition. We arrived and there was no one there eating, Just the staff. Placed an order to dine in and when it finally came up it was bagged Togo. I stated it was for dine in because my family was there and we were eating in. She said oh ok and just held the bag out. Never attempted or offered to put it on plates or take it out the bag. We placed two orders. They put hers on plates to stay yet mine bagged Togo, as if they didn't see us come together and order together. Guess I wasn't welcome to stay. I ordered the cheese grits and the deluxe chicken sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese and gravy. When I ordered she confirmed sunny side up egg. What they gave me was an egg that was hammered and cooked to death, with half warm food. I asked for a replacement and she brings me an egg. I told her I didn't want a hot egg on an even, now, colder sandwich. She goes to remake it and gives it to me with no gravy so I have to then go back and ask for that to complete the meal I originally ordered. The chicken was far from crispy, the bacon was floppy and when they remade the second sandwich it was topped with cold cheese so of course it wasn't melted at all on the sandwich. As for flavor nothing was seasoned. The "cheese grits" were just plain grits that were absolutely bland I added salt from the table but after a point it's worthless. We were passing through, went a little out of route to try this place. It was okay. You order at the counter, they give you a number, you find a place to sit. I had the Rockwell Supreme, my husband got the basic biscuit. It didn't take long to get our food, but it wasn't hot. It's not your typical southern sausage gravy, there's a distinct seasoning in it that was a bit overpowering. Luckily, there wasn't a lot of it. Yes, they're all about biscuits and breakfast which was perfect as I was meeting friends here for biscuits. Biscuits and other carbs generally don't work well on my keto diet but I was pleased to see omelettes and such on the menu. Stand in queue to place your order at the register and you'll get a number. Fill your drink cup at their fountain that has some Coke products but also some Tractor Beverage Company drinks. Blood Range? Cherry Cream? Lemongrass? Sounds tasty but I stuck with coffee this morning. About ten minutes later, a lovely young lady brought my breakfast over to the table. My "T-Bird" omelette was very loaded with turkey and cheddar and poblano-tomato sauce. And instead of home fries, i substituted with a fruit bowl and it was nicely done. I really enjoyed my brunch here with friends. The biscuit French toast was delicious, particularly because of the seasonal peach topping. The portion of bacon slices was generous. You order at the counter and then the food is brought to your table. The employees were friendly. It took 15-20 minutes for our food to be prepared, which wasn't too bad given how busy the restaurant was. They had a pride t-shirt on the wall for sale, which made me like them even more. The chicken was crispy, the waffle was perfect, and the flavors all came together better than I expected. That strawberry mimosa was refreshing and the perfect brunch add-on. First time visitor here and I had never heard of this place before. Again, I took full advantage of Yelp and its suggestions. There isn't a ton of parking but I think I figured out why. We weren't seated long before our food was arriving to the table. We visited on a cloudy Saturday after noon. The service was great considering we had to place our order at the register before seating ourselves. This will definitely get you on and out of this establishment. I have a 15-year-old and The Frenchie was not enough for her. She loved how it tasted; however, said the portion was too small. I thought I ordered an omelet but it seemed more like an egg wrap with sausage, cheese, onions, and special sauce topped with bacon. The grits did not have a lot of flavor either. Huge tomato's. Plenty of AVO. Nothing. It was like eating a pretend sandwich. If you look at my Marietta reviews, you will see a BLT that is a 10, this was a 5. It was one. On paper. I thought I was going to the biscuit place in Kennesaw but I forgot where I was....traveling that morning I got all discombobulated and would have gone the extra few miles had I known it wasn't where I thought I was supposed to be... This place is fairly new and modern and the food is pretty good. I can't help but wonder about the management and their cleanliness. The soda machine has mold growing in the ice chute and around the water dispenser. I don't even want to look up at the others bc I'm afraid of what I'll see . It is a bright, well light restaurant with several booths and tables. Upon entry, we were greeted by a friendly server who answered our questions about the menu offerings. The server told us they were having a Corporate sponsored special on the sausage or bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. My better half and I decided to try this special served on their made from scratch buttermilk biscuits. My better half ordered the home fries to accompany her biscuit sandwich. After placing our order, we were given a table number and found a booth of our choosing. Our order was brought to our booth by a friendly server. Our biscuits were scrumptious and served freshly prepared and hot. The home fries were piping hot and well seasoned. We both ordered our eggs over easy and planned to have a runny yolk. Both of our biscuits were loaded with bacon and had a thick slice of cheddar cheese. Our only disappointment was that both of our biscuit sandwiches were prepared with eggs that had yolks cooked completely (over medium at best). I opted to download their app and join their frequent dining program. Registration of the Biscuit Belly app gets you a free order of Bonuts. These are biscuit doughnut holes rolled in sugar and cinnamon and served with a dipping sauce; we opted for the bourbon cream cheese frosting. The Bonuts and Tots were pretty great, but the Bennie is a real let down. Everything is made with biscuit batter so it's thick and fluffy. Bonuts are a very interesting, new take on a donut. The biscuit makes it fluffy, while the coating and texture is very donut-like. The tots are actually stuffed, so it's not like a normal tot that is covered in the toppings, it's baked in and pretty delicious. Unfortunately the Bennie is where they lost me. It was so covered in sauce that the biscuit was soggy and kind of nasty. The egg was cooked well which was a plus, but I left feeling so heavy and bloated. The Frenchie was good, but forgettable. First encountered Biscuit Belly in Louisville, KY and saw there was one in Acworth and I was truly excited. It's constructed exactly the same and very welcoming and vibrant. You order before you're seated and welcomed to the warm smells of delicious biscuits, and the colors blue and yellow. We were one of the first customer this morning and everything was spot on and even perhaps better than my first experience. The biscuits today were hands down the best ever! That mushroom gravy can't be beat either. I'm so happy they're located here and need them to come to the Midwest too. I'd highly recommend this biscuit belly, and will be back! read more

The first of us ordered and they were out of what she wanted. And out of something less . We changed our orders. The loaded tater tots were yummy! They are loaded ON THE INSIDE! But still nice and crunchy. Could have used a little salt & pepper. The Bronuts were really good, but what made them shine was the bourbon cream cheese! They should sell that by the tub! The goetta sausage gravy was ok according to our friend who is from OH! We got a history on Goetta sausage. My chicken biscuit with bourbon syrup was pretty good, but really need something.
