AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!! This place is sooooo cute. This farm to table restaurant uses all local food from farms. I had the smashed hash with bacon. It was OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD. The flavor was out standing. Every bite I was in shock!! I can't wait to spend my summer here!!!

Why didn't the waitress ask why I was leaving all this food?

I want to give this place 5 stars but I just can't! Here is the good part. Great ambiance, great patio and great parking. Here's the deal. It feels like no friend of the owner/chef has given any real feedback. I've tried this place 3 times and have always been disappointed. Here are some questions for the chef. -what is going on with your pizza dough? Please google how to make pizza dough - salt and pepper - it's a spice that you should have on the table and your food needs it - staff - not really cool - special Italian beef sandwich sucks (see pic below of a sandwich I couldn't finish!) - ketchup WTF WTF WTF?!?!??!! It's like tomato paste. Buy organic Heinz ketchup if you don't know what ketchup tastes like but want to be local, organic, or whatever!! Anyway, cool place but the food isn't that good. I agree that local is awesome but that doesn't mean you can just buy a bunch of local products and throw them together and call it a meal. Please think about a real recipe for whatever is in season. Spices and seasoning are there for a reason. I want you to succeed so please don't take this the wrong way. I just don't think you have gotten good feedback!

Fun find off of the main drag in Amery. Get the Blood Mary- unique flavor! We had the Flathead mushroom omelette, a sausage patty (yum), the Rueben with a twist (level 10 flavor), and the breakfast potatoes (surreal). We will be back!

Great outdoor patio seating. Beautiful presentation of the food! They allow dogs on the patio to make a great family outing.

Great service by friendly staff. They had all the things you'd expect in these times... As for food, we stick with apps and beer and we're not disappointed. The pickled platter was amazing and the cheese curds were as you might expect. Highly recommend the green ranch!

The food was fantastic but it took a couple hours to arrive, in piecemeal!! They also gave us an extra Bloody Mary when we didn't order one, messed up my friends drink, did not bring the other patron his syrup, brought my sauerkraut out and hour before my eggs, they did not tell me they couldn't poach eggs until they brought me sunny side up eggs, and they switched the waitstaff on us mid-meal. Trent tried hard but he needs training. The toast and skillet were fantastic though. I will go back but only if I take a half day off work next time.

Solid 4-stars. Food was good, but portion size was a bit small. Had one of the specials, a goat sandwich, and the meat was a bit tough. Ambiance was super cute, hipstery vibe.

Spotted Cow beer battered cheese curds with spicy mayo and green ranch dip. Seriously, worth every calorie!

Fabulous, healthy, homemade local food from brunch to dinner. They have something for everyone with healthy salads and kombucha to burgers, cheese curds, and cocktails. I also really appreciate that with the current climate as it is this is an ultra clean and safe place to eat. The outdoor patio is accessible from the street or parking lot so you don't have to step foot inside the restaurant if you choose but they also have indoor seating. All staff wear masks and gloves and there are disposable menus.

This visit had us scratching our heads a little. The menu says dinners come with vegetables, soup or salad, and a choice of potato. Dad ordered the shrimp and asked for coleslaw as his salad. The waitress wasn't sure they could substitute coleslaw, which seemed a little strange considering coleslaw is literally a salad. Then I asked what the vegetable choices were and was told, "You get peas." So apparently the vegetable choice is...peas. Nothing that ruined the meal, just a couple little menu quirks that made us go, "Hmm...okay." The restaurant itself is really nice inside. It has a clean, neat, newer-looking interior with newer, well-kept tables and booths. Everything looked clean and taken care of, which definitely adds to the experience. Overall, good food, very friendly staff, a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and a couple funny menu moments. We've been here several times and would come back again. So now we get the food and no peas. The staff says Turkey Dinner does not come with peas.

Wolt's sits along beautiful Pike Lake, taking advantage of the gorgeous scenery by allocating massive window space to its two spacious dining rooms. The interior is exactly what one imagines for a rural, lakeside supper club with wood overload, a brick fireplace, vinyl tablecloths, old people, and vintage snowshoes. A Velkommen sign greets you at the front door along with faux flowers. This is "instagrammable entryway" done Wisconsin backwoods style. Take a selfie with a fish mount! "And that's the way it is." ~Walter Cronkite Service is going to be friendly, but slowwww. That's just the way it is, so relax and enjoy a cocktail while you wait. "Be curious, not judgmental." ~ Walt Whitman I'm extremely curious about the salad bar...curious why the salad is always brown, slimy, and wilted. Skip the salad, but do Butch Cassidy all their amazing radishes and homemade soups into whatever receptacle you can scavenge! You'll make out like a bandit! "If you don't know who I am, then maybe your best course would be to tread lightly." - Walter White The best course at Wolter's is to order the jumbo coconut shrimp. Five stars!! This consistently fantastic entree boasts six shockingly huge shrimp that Heisenberg surely injected with steroids. "You can't just let nature run wild." ~ Walt Disney Instead you have it presented to you on a plate in the form of delicious prime rib. Forego the Friday night fish fry. Overall Wolt's is a fine option for dinner in Amery for any chemistry teacher, legendary journalist, or poet, as long as you stick to the shrimp or the prime rib.

The service was slow which was odd since there was almost nobody there; not good for a Saturday night in August. To be sure our waitress was very inexperienced. The food is average at best, I suspect most of it comes out of a freezer and warmed up in a microwave. What has changed are the prices, they have really shot up but the quality has not. We ate on the deck, it looks horrible and needs maintenance. On the plus side is the ambiance, classic Wisconsin supper club! Furthermore the bartender makes great drinks. This place is loaded with potential. With a little maintenance, a better chef, better quality food and a trained wait staff, it might be worth the price someday.
