MEDFORD: Farm Truck Brewing Dog friendly indoor tasting room and outdoor beer garden! 20 craft beers on tap! Awesome bartenders who gave Brie a lot of love! Bring your own food! Right in the charming downtown Medford! We were so happy to see at least 4 other dogs enjoying the cozy space and spending time with their pawrents.

I have been to Farm Truck a few times now. It is a very nice space and they have about 9-10 beers to offer. All of the beer I have tried have been very good. There is seating both inside and outside. The staff is very friendly. As with most breweries, Farm Truck is not allowed to serve food but ordering out and eating it there is permitted. There is a Whole Hog very close to Farm Truck. I have been to Farm Truck two times on Medford Food Truck Thursdays and the place is naturally jammed.

    BLACKOUT at Farm Truck Brewing

I live about 30 minutes from Medford, and Farm Truck Brewing hasn't even been open for two months yet, but I've already been here twice. When I came back the second time, they already had four new beers on tap for a total of 14 beers. Sometimes new breweries take some time to find their footing, to perfect recipes and techniques. Not these guys. They know what they're doing when it comes to brewing beer and have come out of the gate swinging. I've been to almost every brewery in South Jersey, and I can tell this place is already outstanding, right up there with places like Slack Tide and Tonewood. I can't wait to come back in the future to see what else they come up with. They don't do flights, but offer smaller pours in either 5oz or 8oz of all their beers. On my second trip I tried the BLACKOUT! (schwarzbier), Enjoyin' the Ride (rye IPA), Warm Sunlight (hazy saison) and the Dank Stick and Tiger in a Trance (both DIPA's). All were bold and packed with flavor. Additional tasting notes and hops used are listed next to each beer on the menu, which is always a nice touch. As for the tasting room, definite hipster vibes here. They have a huge tasting room with two separate bars and a small beer garden out front. Two immaculately clean bathrooms. Two giant TV's above the main bar, one playing skateboarding videos, another playing a 1970's live Grateful Dead concert, while reggae plays over the bar's speakers. Nice view of the brewing tanks in the main room. Farmtruck is right on Main Street sandwiched between Lower Forge and Kings Road, all within a half mile of each other, so it's possible to do a mini brewery crawl. But if you can only choose one brewery in Medford, make it this one.

I love Farm Truck and we're so lucky to have this brewery so close to home. My friend and I do Farm Truck every Thursday and on occasion when we miss a week it just doesn't feel the same. The location is great (right on Main Street in Medford) with multiple restaurants nearby that you can order from and walk to. They routinely have live bands and food trucks on weekends. The beertenders are the best around. They're always so friendly and when not too busy make time to interact with their customers. I really love their menu, how the beers are separated by style, and how it's color coded so you can tell which beers are new and which beers are almost gone. They always have so many (quality) beers on tap and there is something here for everyone to enjoy with new selections always appearing on their tap list. Their new smoothie sour, Whipped Dream, is one of the best sours I've had. I hope it becomes staple beer at Farm Truck. For any IPA drinkers, SDN is a great option. I'm still wishing they'd bring back the OG Squeeze First, the first ever beer I had at Farm Truck. I'm looking forward to many more visits and many more great times.

New brewery in Medford!! Been waiting FOREVER for this place to open up and I felt soooo lucky that I happened to be at the Art festival that was happening on Main St because they did a surprise opening today before their GRAND OPENING on June 25th Location is located right on Main St. with plenty of options for food to bring with you. A few spots for parking but plenty of street parking. The space inside is spacious! Lots of seating... there were bar locations inside to serve you beer. There's also outdoor seating as well! Pet friendly as well! BEERS There were only 5 beers on tap today and not serving flights so bummer because I was already full from Kings Brewing lol. But I did try a few - Forging Ahead: Nelson which was a pale ale brewed with a Sauvignon blanc. It was ok... I wish there were more of the passion fruit and mango flavors that were mentioned but still refreshing. My husband had the - Roasted Pen Pals was their Porter and it was soooooo good! Give this one 5 stars for sure. Iced coffee taste and smooth! - Farm Truck Summer which is their take on a Kolsch which was just ok. I will definitely go back to taste their other brews. I know they're just opening and gots plenty of room to grow, so I can't wait to see what more they have to offer in the future! Overall... I give their brews a 3.5 stars so far.. but the whole place has got good vibes going!

The wait is over!! Farm Truck brewing is open in Medford. Great selection of brews for all tastes and we were told some new brews are just about ready! Great, knowledgeable staff. Indoor and outdoor seating.

The location is perfect - right on Main Street in the historic downtown area. There's a pleasant vibe in the tasting room with a variety of seating including a few leather couches. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They offer events like monthly trivia and monthly karaoke. But the beer. Sigh... I just can't get into it. Now, I'm no professional beer critic. I wouldn't say I have a discerning palate capable of detecting subtle notes of hop varietals. And taste in beer is of course subjective. So take this with a grain of salt. But I have definitely had a lot of beer in my life, and I just didn't enjoy the beer here. When I came here in July of 2022 for the first time in awhile, I had a flight and didn't enjoy what I had, but I wanted to give them another chance. But when I came back over a month later in August, they hadn't introduced a single new beer in that time. The menu only had six beers and two seltzers on tap. Of the beers I tried, the Troubadour (porter), Winter Witch (golden stout) and the Healthy, Wealthy and Weizen all lacked enough flavor and just seemed too watery to me. The Piney Punch (radler) was on the opposite end of the spectrum with loads of pineapple flavor. This was the one decent beer of the bunch, if pineapple beer is your thing. The last beer I tried was the Jabberhoppy, an Imperial IPA with 100 IBU meant to "showcase a balance at the upper limits of bitterness. This is a double IPA that packs together six of our favorite hops..." Where do I begin to describe this one? It was certainly interesting and unique, but not in a good way. Too bitter, not enough flavor, maybe just too many different hops for its own good. It just didn't taste like a normal double IPA. And this is certainly nitpicky, but the beer didn't seem cold enough when it was served. So overall, if you want a nice spot to hang with friends, maybe do some karaoke, this place is perfect. But if you're after excellent beer with more complexity, you might need to try elsewhere.

Phillies on the tv indoors, tabletop shuffleboard, a large outdoor space with plenty of seating and live music by Chris Greiner and a decent sized crowd. It was a really perfect summer evening. And the beer! I was genuinely surprised at how much I loved it! There were 8 beers on tap, plus two hard seltzers and a NA root beer. My girlfriend and I tried a few 12 oz. pours and loved it all. The Peach Please lived up to its description and tasted like peach cheesecake in a glass, while the Brotherton IPA, Juicy IPA, and Wheat Cloud Hefeweizen were all nuanced yet complex in flavor. The beer here was excellent, and we can't wait to come back to see what they brew next.

Hard to tell exactly when it opened, as their website offers scant information, but they first started posting on Facebook in 2011 if that is anything to go by. They don't have a large footprint in the NJ brewing scene as they don't distribute to any liquor stores or bars/restaurants (they don't even offer beers in cans to go), and they don't do any big events other than the typical karaoke or trivia nights. What they do offer is a nice place to hang out in an old historic building right on the Main Street in the downtown area, and a solid lineup of beers. One thing that makes them stand out is a great selection of beers on nitro. From my experience with NJ breweries, you're lucky to find a single beer on nitro. At Village Idiot there are seven of them, most of them dessert stouts like a cookie butter white stout and a salted caramel milk stout. All that we tried were delicious and not crazy high in ABV like other dessert stouts. Flights are only $10 which is pretty cheap compared to other NJ breweries. Of note is that as of November 2025 they no longer allow outside drinks including water bottles like Nalgenes and Stanley Cups. Too many idiots sneaking in alcohol, according to their social media. Overall it has a bit more of a dive bar vibe only frequented by locals rather than a traditional NJ brewery, but the beer is definitely good enough, and the surrounding Main Street charming and quaint enough that I would definitely return.
