Wonderful hidden gem on Rte 73. Everything from the drinks to the appetizer to the entrees were amazing. The staff is also great. Hurry this place is a must visit!

Have passed this hidden gem a million times on the to the shore. So pleased to pick this place for dinner with friends. Great service with big portions. The dining room is intimate with just 6 or so tables. Although there are TVs, they are muted so my dining partners were able to have great conversations. Upon arrival, the bread landed on the table with roasted peppers and butter. Very good. The house salad was loaded with chopped veggies with a crisp vinaigrette. All our entrees were tasty and delicious. Definitely will return.

I had read about Briglia's Tavern on the South Jersey Food Scene FB page several times and was always curious. I looked it up and realized we pass it often coming back from Brigantine. So on our last trip to Brigantine we decided to give it try. Briglia's is tucked in a strip mall off of Route 30 (White Horse Pike) on the East side of Berlin. It is not much to look at from the outside. There are some tables and also a tent for larger events. Customers enter through the bar area. We were greeted by our super pleasant server who directed us to a really nice and cozy dining room in the back. It was nice surprise. As others have written, the menu is pretty large. There are a lot of choices and different styles of food. The majority is homemade Italian. We tried a special, the stuffed Zucchini flowers with Lobster and Ricotta. This dish was a little pricey but amazing. We also had the whiskey glazed Gruper which was also very good and the potatoes were outstanding. We had carrot cake for dessert. Briglia's has some local beers on draft and nice selection of cocktails. Our server was great and all of the staff was very friendly. We will definitely stop by next time on our way back from Brigantine.

Was SO delightfully surprised going to Brigalias Tavern tonight for dinner We started with mussels fra diavolo which was served with garlic bread on top. Perfectly not too spicy and perfectly garlicky (is that a word?) It came beforehand with bread and some amazing peppers in a tomato base and salads. The balsamic house is perfect sweet and acidity. I got the white chicken parm and let me tell you, the chicken was crispy and cooked perfectly- nice and brown. Topped with provolone and ricotta and mozzarella. The side of capellini was in a garlic olive oil sauce and was AMAZING! My girlfriend got the sachetti purse pasta with shrimp. The blush sauce was so good. It comes in second to Toscana for me, but she said she liked it better. Either way, it was so good! We finished with a bread pudding and I almost got the manninos cannoli but I didn't have room in my stomach. The drink I got was a seasonal cranberry sangria and it was so good and spiced perfectly for the season! The service was 10/10 and our server was so friendly and made amazing recommendations. She was so attentive and nice! The atmosphere is no frills, cozy, and very welcoming. I'll 10/10 be back!

This hole in the wall off of Route 73 is too easy to miss from the outside, as most people just whiz by. Next time make a pit stop because this place is such a hidden gem! Who knew all the times I'd driven by and never even saw it. I'm utterly blown away by how good this place is - food, service, and ambiance. We came with a large group of 12 and they had no issues accommodating. Food was cooked perfect and plated nicely, service was super attentive and friendly, the dining room is cozy but not claustrophobic. Bathroom is clean! Come hungry!!

Amazing fresh seafood Italian fair! Not what you expected, finding a hidden gem in a small rural community when a tavern serves food the like of Philadelphia, PA. The menu is extended, and everything looks very appetizing, so choosing one item is unfair to my taste buds. We will be back to taste some more goodness.

One of the best Hot Roast Beef Sammy's I've had in some time. Check this place out, next time you are in the vicinity. Friendly service, open kitchen & many more menu items to check out. I'll be back!

I have no idea where to start on this review and I still wish yelp would allow for 1/2 stars because I would rate this between a 3 and 4. It's an interesting place with some aspects of the meal were very good and some not. Also, I'm not sure of the identity of the place as a whole. I'll try to describe it the best I can. Atmosphere: The place very small and in a strip mall. Probably would be hard to find if you didn't know where you were going. But that's not a bad thing. When you walk in the bar is to the left with some high tops located on the right. We chose to eat in the dinning room in the back. It was a cold night and my wife complained about the coldness in the dinning room especially when the staff opened the door to the storage area. Overall though it was a cute place, eclectically decorated. Service: Our server was excellent and very friendly. Not intrusive but attentive. The bus staff was also friendly. Food: Let me start out by saying that the menu is huge, which to me questions the freshness of the food items. I did notice a bag of frozen shrimp coming out of the storage area. Now, that doesn't mean the food is bad, just not fresh. I ordered the Sesame Tuna entree special and my wife ordered the Mom's homemade marinara with a meatball. The presentation for both were great as my pictures show. Before receiving our entrees, the meals come with bread, which was tasty, and a small salad, which was nothing special and was slightly overdressed. My tuna was cooked nicely but if I'm not mistaken was previously frozen, I could be wrong. Either way it tasted ok and was a little tough to me. The sesame crust was good and the wasabi sauce was tasty, but the tuna itself left something to be desired. My sides actually became the highlight of the meal. The mashed potatoes were nice and buttery and the greens were tasty. My wife enjoyed her meal. I tried a little of the pasta and it was good. The biggest problem though was the price. Very pricey for what you got. Pasta and a meatball for $24? I still plan on going back to try some of their special item days because I've heard they're good, but I think there are less pricier options around were I live.

Snow crab Dinner was delish and so was the fried zucchini flowers. The snow crab legs came with garlic and oil spaghetti and salad.

Really impressed with the food my first time here. As others have said that roast beef sandwich is top tier. Bartender was great and the menu is way more diverse than you'd expect. Unassuming from the outside but big things going on in the kitchen. Can't wait to go back.

The drinks were good, and appetizers (mussels) were tender and delicious. I ordered shrimp and "scallops" Dominica. The dish, overall, was tasty, perfectly al dente pasta. BUT, the scallops were rubbery, and an odd color. I literally needed a knife to cut the scallop. I mentioned to our server, and he immediately went to the kitchen. He brought me freshly seared "scallops", which were better, but still not tender as a fresh scallop should be. He proceeded to tell me that while the product was 'mostly scallop', they were actually a mix of whitefish and scallop meat cut into scallop shaped pieces- so not actually Scallops. I'm not sure a restaurant should be able to sell fake scallops without being transparent. Overall, a nice meal, but don't order scallops...unless you don't mind paying for (and eating) an imposter.

We started off with fresh bread, made in-house, and a bottle of wine from Saddlehill Winery. (They sell bottles from the winery up the road.) bread was nice and crispy. For appetizers we did the clams casino and calamari. The clams casino were loaded with fresh red peppers and bacon and had a great smoky taste. The calamari was some of the best I've ever had! They don't use batter for the squid and it was still so crunchy and flavorful. The marinara was exquisite. For entrees I had the chicken francese which was battered well, and had a tangy lemony taste. Served with snap peas and mashed potatoes. My friend had the chicken parm and the spaghetti it was served with, as simple as it looked, was phenomenal. The chicken parm was a classic and fantastic choice, served with a nice oozing amount of cheese. We shared the ravioli Di aragosta which was stuffed extremely well with lobster and crabmeat and topped with carrot sauce! The carrot sauce was better than I expected, very creamy and light. Definitely a unique time to try. We ended the night with housemade tiramisu and Italian rum cake. Both desserts were so moist and tasty, not overly sweet, and light which made a perfect post-dinner treat. We also sampled their housemade limoncello which was so smooth and lemony! Safe to say I was blown away with the food. Everything is prepared fresh here and you can taste the passion in the dining. The owners are husband and wife, and Mr. Fieni does the cooking while Mrs. Fieni does the baking. What a perfect team! I love the simple collaborative approach they have. To top it off, the service was incredible. We had people checking in with us all night and our server was so friendly and personable. The dining room is simple - that would draw attention away from the outstanding food and service. This is truly an Italian restaurant done right! I'll definitely be back!
