I got great table service, they brought me hot coffee several times. My Denver omelette had a bunch of peppers and onions, I really enjoy the food, it was both filling and cooked perfectly. The restaurant was super clean and they bussed the table the moment someone left so it was ready for the next guests. I watched so many people come in and eat and go happily. You can order at the counter or at your table, neat feature! This is one of my very favorite places to stop on my travels and I try and come in aa often as I am in the area. I will probably stop going to Farmer Boys completely. The first & seceond times I visited, the food was fresh and hot. The last two times, including today: The egg sandwiches looked old, tasted stale and weren't fresh/hot. Todays visit was also disappointing: ( The omelet wasnt even warm, the eggs within the omelet, overcooked and the cheese wasnt even melted. The omelet looked and tasted like it had been hours in advance, what a waste of money. The coffe was fresh & good, but thats it. No Thanks, I will take my money somewhere else next time I want to treat myself to breakfast. Disgusting with TERRIBLE service. I just came here and ordered a turkey melt and fries and when I got home with my food I discovered a long black hair in it Literally TANGLED AROUND THE FRIES so I called to let them know what the issue was, the manager asked me if I would like the food remade so I said yes and I'll be back in a few minutes- That was our entire conversation. I go back less than 10 minutes later with the fries still on the plate I poured them onto and tell the cashier that I just called, what the issue was, showed her the fries and told her I was told my food would be ready. She then goes and grabs the bag of food meant for me, puts it back down then comes back then once again and asks me what the issue is. Once again I show her the fries and explain that there's hair in them so I was told that my food would be replaced. She then goes back and gets the bag again, brings it with her and says "I'm not understanding, are the fries cold? What's the problem?" So I at this point im literally pointing at the plate of fries with hair in them asking her what she didnt understand bc I explained it and showed her 3 times and I told her to confirm what was on the bag she was holding and she told me it was the food that was remade, she then has he audacity to tell me I don't have to get upset she can get the manager so I told her to do so because I'm done arguing with her. The manager then comes over and asks me what the issue is as if she's oblivious then tries to tell me that the procedure to get the remade food should've been that I brought the entire meal back yet she didn't mention that at all on the phone which I told her. She then said "well that's how it is at every restaurant though" well here's a fxckin tip, at "every restaurant" they don't leave their dirty a** hair in my food and if you wanted the whole meal back you should've communicated that AS A MANAGER not a clown that thought I wasn't going to actually come back and hold you accountable for being DISGUSTING. Came in at 8:27 pm to dine in with my family, checked what time they closed, google said 10 pm, when we were ready to order, the lady said the dinning room was closed, because they closed at 9pm. We left, but i looked at the sign as we were leaving and the sign said dinning room open till 9 and drive thru until 10. I don't understand how a business advertises certain business hours and the employees change it on the fly according to how they want to interpret the business hours, we could've had our dinner and be gone by 9. I went to the Farmer Boys in Phelan just trying to order food, and the experience was awful from start to finish. The woman on the intercom could not understand what I was saying, so instead of politely asking for clarification, she put the manager on the intercom. The manager then immediately started yelling at me, accused me of yelling, and kicked me out of the drive-through without taking my order. I calmly called the store afterward to speak to a manager, only for the same woman to answer and say she was the manager, continuing to yell and telling me she "doesn't have to take my order because it's her right." The entire interaction was unprofessional, hostile, and embarrassing. The staff had a disgusting 'better than everyone' attitude and clearly do not understand basic customer service. No one should be treated this way for simply trying to order food. I do not recommend this place at all due to the unacceptable behavior and lack of respect from the workers. I've been to this Farmer Boys in Hesperia a few times for dine-in and drive-thru. All my experiences have been great. Dine-in concept here is slightly different than the full service dining. They bring you your food and you're on your own the rest of the way until they clean your table. So do I tip or not? Well, I guess that's up to you. I've done both. I normally order the French Toast platter. So yummy! Buttery toast smothered with syrup and more butter LOL. One sunny side egg and two slices of bacon. That's my kinda breakfast. I'll be surprised if I don't gain some love handles LOL. Staff is usually friendly and pleasant. They are timely in wiping down the tables after usage. Prices have gone up, but what hasn't LOL. Farmer Boys do have coupons sent out in the mail. Take advantage of them coupons. They also have lunch and dinner items, too. Swing on by and support your neighborhood Farmer Boys in Hesperia. I requested the manager and when he came to the window he's says "whats wrong?"
