I like this Habit. It's a nice location, parking lot isn't crazy, the food is always fresh, the customer service is on par, and the wait isn't too bad. Compared to the Victorville habit, this one is superb. My recent experience at this location was excellent. I ordered my free birthday char burger with green bean fries and the tropical iced black tea, with an Oreo cookies and cream malt. All the food was delicious! The burger: it was on point. All the char burger flavors, hot, and fresh! The lettuce was crisp. The green bean fries: the batter was tasty and they had a nice crunch. I always look forward to green bean fries. The iced tea: I love the tropical iced black tea. It is so delicious and refreshing! This location seems to always have brewed tea. I'm so disappointed when I go and the tea is out. Today we were very disappointed with the Hamburgers, they weren't as thick and as appealing as the previous orders. Plus when you order off of Door Dash you can check off what to or not to put on the hamburgers. I checked "no pickles" on 1 of the hamburgers but the pickles were on both. Same problem with onions. Also 1/2 of the fries were warm with many small fries that were overcooked. Lastly the Coke had a poor taste. After spending $40 for this unacceptable order I probably will go with another place that sells hamburgers the next time. read more

I've only dined here at Habit Burger Grill (HBG) in Hesperia maybe less than 5 times and this was pre COVID-19. Yes, I know... this is a long overdue review, but hey, it's better now than never, right? Anyway, since I've stopped eating beef several years back, I don't get the opportunity to enjoy a good burger, but that's okay. Everyone else can enjoy extra in my place LOL. So my go-to nowadays is a good solid chicken sandwich... HBG calls it like it is... they have a Grilled Chicken Sandwich (GCS) on their menu and that's what I normally order every time. I may one day try their Crispy Chicken Sandwich... anything chicken works for me as long as it's good. I'm not picky. The GCS has marinated chicken breast, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, and teriyaki sauce is my choice of sauce. Just a mouthwatering sandwich! The only gripe is that it's a small sandwich... maybe it's the ciabatta bread or just the chicken fillet is small. I may need to order two sandwiches next time I visit HBG LOL. I'm a big eater, but not to where I'm overly full... just in good moderation! I always love to take home leftovers so I don't mind ordering extra foods. Just my sandwich, sweet potato fries (can't forget my fries), and a cup of water is good enough a meal for me any day. Simplicity is key! If I recall, I didn't have any issues with the staff. I will say friendly and pleasant. Prices back then were cheaper than what they are today for sure. I do remember the dining inside was a little snugged, but they do have plenty of outside patio dining. However, with the extreme weather, I don't think it's a good idea to dine outside unless it's during the cooler hours. I always get the veggie burger and if you do, get it well done, it tastes much better. Mushy veggie burgers give veggie burgers a bad name. Habit impresses with green or salad bowl lettuce, a big splash of it and always fresh. I have always loved The Habit. However, they really are slipshod when it comes to providing good customer service when you order from a food delivery service! The delivery was great. The food from The Habit was not. They seem incapable of following directions: 1. Ordered well done burger - it wasn't well done 2. Ordered green bean/French fry combo with a side of ranch and ketchup- green beans were tasteless and no ranch dressing and no ketchup 3. Ordered onion rings with a side of ranch and ketchup- great onion rings, no ketchup or ranch. 4. Asked that napkins be included - no napkins. I cannot always get in the car and drive to pick up my order so I have to rely on a delivery service. Consistently great food every time, at every location I've visited. This Hesperia location is no exception: fast and friendly people at the counter, excellent food, clean restaurant. Five stars all around! On certain days, I sometimes think that I like the burgers and fries at The Habit better than the ones at In-N-Out! I know! But the food here is just so good. Recently, I branched out beyond burgers and fries and tried one of their salads. That was honestly a wise decision, as my Santa Barbara Cobb was so flipping good. Even the people who were eating with me, who all got tasty burgers themselves, kept commenting on how good my salad looked, and they vowed to try it next time. The salad includes shredded iceberg and romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes, avocado, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, egg, and grilled chicken breast in a red wine vinaigrette dressing. I opted to omit the blue cheese. What I love about this salad is that every component is chopped small enough so that you get bites of every part with every forkful. There wasn't too much of any one part -- the whole salad tasted wonderful. I'm so glad that the High Desert has The Habit now! A good addition to the HD. read more

So good! We stopped here for a quick dinner before needing to hop on 395. So, so good! From the food to the service to the cleanliness, this Habit location was awesome. We ordered with only one person ahead of us (there were other people dining). Our food was ready in less than five minutes -- I had a chance to use the restroom (super clean), get my drink, pick a table, and my food was ready not too long afterward. Everything was delicious: I had a side salad, burger and onion rings. I normally don't get drinks, but I did here because of the limeade and agua fresca. The manager was present, and he was super nice. (He was assisting a new employee with the ketchup machine.) One thing that stood out: this place is SO CLEAN. The entire restaurant was spotless! Wow! I was really excited about trying this place out. And I can say it wasn't bad. Love the selection of craft burgers they offer. I had the Santa Barbara (this guy loves the idea of having avocado on my sandwich). I had the onion rings and a strawberry shake to wash everything down. The burger was good but a little sloppy. No big deal, I have big hands and a big mouth. Lol! The onion rings were good but were cook to the point of being on the hard side. The shake was on point. Upon walking in the temperature inside was a little on the warm to hot side. With this being a popular establishment at the moment it pack up pretty quick with the lack there of inside seating. There is outside seating but not too many patron was about that life. With the booming business, the small space for the line extended out the door, which help allowing the temperature to cool down inside. Far as cleanliness there is an attendant walking around checking to see if they can get your trays/trash out of the way and cleaning up tables as they come available for the next patron. Never been here, definitely coming back. I had no idea what to order and the cashier made me feel so welcomed. She explained the menu and made suggestions. So funny because I wasn't going to eat much and I ended up ordering the Santa Barbara Char with Avacado and a N grilled sour dough. Adrianna is amazing at Customer Service, thank you being a pro. The place was slammed, but they got my order out in decent time, so thank you to the kitchen crew too. OK, so bathrooms are clean but the tables weren't. I had to ask somebody to help sweep the food off the floor, but to be fair they were hit by a small baseball team of kids. It was 6:00pm in a Friday, so top of dinner hour. The women I asked to sweep and clean up was more than eager to help and had a great attitude. About the whole non-controversy between Habit and In-Out. There's no comparison. When my salad finally came out 15 minutes after I ordered sure enough no Avacado. Then halfway into eating my salad I choked because there was a chicken bone in the chicken of the salad. Customer service can only get you so far if there is always something wrong with the food. Over priced just like their burger. I got a regular single burger, regular drink and tempura green beans and it was almost $10. Now for way less price I could have went to in and out and got a double double. Basically more food that tastes just as good or better for less price.
