There is a significant difference in the day and night crew throughout the week. I've gone to this in n out for a while now and usually it's at night, and i've never had a complaint for them i always thought "in n out is pretty good all around" Then i started trying to go during the day.. Yes same ingredients and everything but its the service and quality/presentation that seems to be big problem for day shift. For instance today, i got a double double protein style, chopped peppers, grilled onions, no spread and no tomatoes, it was all correct, but the burger had somehow been flipped sideways, and my double double turned into a bent up 4x4, and the lettuce was as if they gave me the scraps of the lettuce head, i get no spread and no tomato cause it's pretty messy, but somehow this felt messier than ever. Then my girlfriends double double has stale, burnt, and cold buns and very mildly warm patty's, and the fries just aren't very fresh, i mean their making fries all day and somehow they are left and not being given out fresh? Night crew though? Good lettuce size, not as nearly as small and flaky as day, the patty's? Fresh, fries? Fresh, buns? Just toasted, I forgot to mention drinks earlier, but i got a LITE lemonade today from day shift, you would've thought i drank 10 warheads, sweet, and somehow warm, the ice melted like 5 minutes after leaving so i just had a hot sugary drink, but anyway, night shift? Cold, tasteful drinks, and the food looks good, presentation is good, the service is good. Management should definitely look for these differences themselves. Still love in n out though, just felt like some of the people that only get to go during the day, should get the same treatment us night eaters get. read more

Fairly busy In-N-Out location during our drive from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. The drive thru line was very long, so we decided it would be better to just park and order inside. Service was great! Made the order with no issues. It did take a bit for my order to be ready, but it was busy. I ordered a Double-Double Protein Style Animal Style with the Animal Style Fries (well done). I am an avid In-N-Out fries hater. My friends suggested it would be better well done. It made it a bit better...But not by much. The burger itself was great! Devoured it no problem. I came back to update my review from 3 years ago to 5 stars, because they deserve it. They have some excellent young ladies working here now who have really positive and friendly attitudes, and because of this, this In & Out location has become my favorite. (I've uploaded my most recent receipt) My lunch today was excellent, and I just love their crispy lettuce and the ability to order my burgers however I want them. The drive through line seems long, but it moved so fast I never had time to look at my cell phone, and although the line started almost back near the entrance, I was out of there in less than 5 minutes. It's really unbelievable how the young lady who works here busts her ass. I only wish I could tip them, but they have no tip jar. Oh, and just a note about the negative reviews. Someone left a review about their order not being right, well all they have to do is tell them, and they will gladly make everything right. Some people just like to complain, but I wanted to update my review today because I am so thankful for the kind employees here and thankful that In & Out exists. Decent food and good prices - it's no surprise that In-N-Out is so popular here in the HD. Staff is generally nice, and service is usually quick, though it significantly slows during peak hours. There are both indoor outdoor tables available; I personally prefer to sit outside as the inside is not always kept clean. They do have a drive-thru. Restrooms are available. They are located on a small private lot, so parking can be difficult - most people just use the drive-thru, but even that backs up into the main road almost daily. Noise level is moderate. They have plenty of options as far as how you can get your burger and fries, but please don't come here expecting something other than a burger and fries. They have fountain drinks and milkshakes as well. The burgers are good and worth a try, but I don't think they're the end-all, nor do I think they are worth waiting 30+ minutes for. Many times, the food is bland and the patty itself is super thin and can get lost in the mountain of lettuce they love to include. Prices are reasonable. Since they've managed to stay affordable, I still think this place is a good option, especially if you don't want to travel far. Just don't expect to be wowed. read more

Not only were we having a good time laughing at this pathetic excuse for a sandwich so was some of the staff. I was having a pretty bad day today and i happened to stop by in n out for a burger, i usually avoid this location due to the long line but it wasn't so long this time. I got my order taken pretty quickly outside but it was very fast so i couldn't understand what the lady said when she repeated it to me so when i got to the window most of it was wrong, i was really mad because i was getting cut off most of the time i was explaining my order, i was met with jenni at the first window where you pay, i was embarrassed to tell her my order was wrong because the other times i have done this, for some reasons the employees get irritated and mad as if it is my fault the people in the drive thru cant take orders. My eldest daughter and I was on our way home from her orchestra event. For some reason, I had a craving for In-N-Out french fries. I knew there was a location on Bear Valley Blvd so here we are. We got into the long drive-thru line. Of course line was long LOL. But no worries, I am a very patient person when it comes to waiting for great eats. Our goal was just to get fries. However, while we were in line I thought about their secret menu. It's not posted. You can only get them online. It turns out there are about 30 secret items. Well, it's not much of a secret if it's accessible to the public LOL. Let's call them special items. My daughter was reading off the special items and when she said rootbeer float, my eyes lit up. It turned out to be vanilla shake with rootbeer... bummer, I was hoping for real ice cream and rootbeer. Oh well, it was still good though. As for the fries, it needed to be crispier. We'll have to remember to ask for double fry or something. No one compares to the Baldwin Park In-N-Out fries at least not yet LOL. Staff was friendly. I don't think I've ever encountered bad staff at any In-N-Out. Keep up the great customer service folks! Exterior was clean from what I can tell. I love In-N-Out but after this experience I think the only store I'd step foot into again is the one in Tennessee, maybe there I can find some respectful employees. I had just finished my shift at a nearby restaurant so my friends and I are excited to get a burger. We all put in our orders and everything is going smooth per usual (In-N-Out is usually on top of it!). The food comes out in a timely manner and the lady (Hannah) very kindly gives us our meals. What could have been a quick and easy interaction was turned dark rapidly. I ask for 5 spreads. Not that it matters but I'd say that's pretty reasonable for a party of 3. Hannah then says, "for one burger?? yeah." And SLAMS 5 spreads on the counter. She proceeds to say "enjoy your 5 spreads." It was very condescending. I was in utter shock. I am receiving a full meal and she tells me to enjoy my spread. She said it in a tone as if she couldn't believe I was asking for extra sauce in a restaurant she works at. We bring our food to the table and my upset friend goes back up to the counter only for Hannah to ask again "more spread????" I am very offended. We spoke to the manager and he was sort of apologetic. It looked like he pulled Hannah for a private chat but even after she continued to work at the front counter. My friends and I couldn't even finish our food with how uncomfortable we were. It sounds kind of silly but what Hannah said can actually be very hurtful, it was almost fat-shaming. I've been to a lot of In and Outs. My first time trying this location. There was a little mis communication with the person taking my order. That was a little weird. After that, the service was really good as it usually is at In and Out. I came in the daytime so not too crowded. When I looked at the food I was about to eat, I was not impressed. The protein cheeseburger's lettuce was very thin. There is a thing as putting too much lettuce but also not much lettuce. The burger did not taste fresh. The fries were also disappointing. They were cooked but did not taste fresh either. It's as if the food was already prepared and not to order. Someone is always walking around and removing trays and wiping down tables. I got my usual: The Number 2 single cheeseburger with grilled onions (this is important and completely necessary for a great burger) and an unsweetened ice tea. The Number 2 comes with fries. I also got a vanilla malt, which ended the meal the right way (i.e. feeling deliciously stuffed). We also bought a t-shirt. Did you know that In-N-Out sells branded merchandise? They do! The food and service are always awesome, and the style of the restaurant definitely fosters friendly conversation between patrons and servers and patrons to patrons. It is lively and always cheerful. Not my favorite location. The line is always super long going into the street but it does go fast so it's not that big of a deal for me. The employees are nice and welcoming. The reason for 3 stars is because when going inside to eat (before covid 19) or to just take out. It was always so dirty inside. Trash all over the floors, the service was slow, dirty tables, spilled soda. The food sometimes isn't cooked all the way. The fries sometimes are soggy and cold like they have just been sitting or not cooked all the way. Sometimes like this last time yesterday my burger wasn't cooked all the way. This In n out is the worst in the desert!!! The driveway is so jammed you can't get into it, if you do have the misfortune of getting in. The food is guaranteed to disappoint. I had to circle the block twice just to get in the parking lot to park. We went in put in our order. Several more guests came in after us put in their orders. They ALL received their order and left, meanwhile we just waited. It took 33 minutes for 4 fries and 4 hamburgers three were meat cheese and bun. My burger was so soggy it was gross. The ketchup had that dark look like it sat out for a long time. The fries were way undercooked they were floppy mush. Its the third crappy meal from this particular restaurant and I have learned my lesson. read more
