Opens at 6 am, I'm a fan of Farmer Boys in Riverbank. We came around 745 am on a Saturday morning and there was only one other customer seated. Everything on the menu is available to order. I've come around the same early morning and ordered their burger! Nice when you crave for a lunch meal but there at breakfast time! I ordered the 3 egg breakfast with bacon. The only thing I'm a bit disappointed is the bacon is super skinny and thin compared to what I've ordered there in the past! Eggs were cooked medium and great. Wheat toast had butter lathered on there and the hash brown was a good portion. But yah, the bacon definitely wasn't very meaty to my liking. Service today at the front could have been better. The Gen Z girl in the counter looked like she was half asleep and needed a cup of coffee. She had a monotone face while taking our order and just lacked that customer service vibe of yester year. I have the Farmer Boys app so I often scan my receipt to get reward points that I redeem later on. Food- 4 stars (bacon gets 3 stars) Service - 3.5 stars. I am not a fan of this place anymore, at least this location, which is honestly the only one I've been to. Takes 20 minutes to get your food and I ordered a quesadilla and fries! Then when I got it, it was awful and didn't finish. The workers are not friendly and you never get a smile, just monotone voice when asking what you want. I also went through the drive thru last week and the girl said it was a 21 minute wait. THANKFULLY, there was no one behind me and I was able to back out...I felt bad for the people who were stuck! How is it ok to serve your paying customers this garbage!? the chicken is completely different now and EXTREMELY cold, hard, and dry. I went back in to replace it and "Payton" decided to be rude and stuck up. I let her know nicely in the beginning that the chicken was dry and hard and all she said was "well what do you want? A replacement or crispy chicken?" But in a rude way so I responded pissed because what do you mean what do I want? Obviously the chicken isn't edible so I'd like my chicken not to be dry if i paid almost $20 for a salad. First time trying this place. We dined in and ordered two Farmer burgers; one lettuce wrap style, one on a bun with fries. Place was clean, employees friendly and efficient. Food was delivered to our table, hot and exactly as ordered. Taste was fresh and delicious! Fries were crisp on outside, soft inside. On February 17th around 2:30 PM at the Riverbank Farmer Boys, I ordered a California omelette and discovered a black screw mixed in with my hash browns halfway through eating. I had already taken several bites before noticing it on my fork. The staff refunded me, but what followed was worse. A regional director contacted me saying she had "feedback," but after multiple calls, voicemails, and emails on my end, I never received any follow-up or resolution. I gave them every opportunity to handle this directly before posting. Finding a foreign object in your food is bad enough--being ignored afterward makes it worse. In what world is this amount of mayo okay in a sandwich. Just wanted a decent amount that doesn't cause it to rub all over the place and impossible to eat. I had to go back to be remade. I didn't realize I had to be precise and asked for "lite mayo" to have the cooks make it properly. Also the first two sandwiches I received were not cut in half like they are supposed to be. This was my first time at a Farmer Boys. This location was busy when we arrived around noon. However everything was clean and the service was quick. I didn't realize until one of my kids pointed out that it's $7 to make whatever you're ordering a meal (fries and drink). It gave me 5 Guys overpriced vibes. I know it's more of a corporate issue, but I'd rather just see the full price upfront. Anyway, our burgers and sandwiches were all really good! However the fries are very underwhelming. Came to Farmer Boys for the first time. Did not expect them to be a drive through type of spot. That's on me though for assuming otherwise. I was in between meetings and a lot of brunch spots were closed on Tuesday which was crazy to me. Came here to try them out and ordered the cinnamon roll French toast with eggs sunny side up and a mix of bacon and sausage. The cinnamon roll French toast was good and the eggs were alright. The sausage did not taste that good. It didn't really taste like a sit down type of spot even though it had those vibes with waiters and such but really tasted like a fast food joint which it possibly is. I give three stars for the service (which is more like 10 starts for service and none for food). While I'm used to the high prices here, I'm not used to the poor quality ingredients. The sandwich was small, but well put together. Unfortunately the quality of ingredients just doesn't hold up to what it used to be. The chicken was chewy.
