First time ever at Publix. Needed to see the hype. So excited to take a look!…read more It's nice clean spacious. I couldn't resist and stopped by the ready prep meals. You have quite a bit of choices that I see more than usual compared to other super markets. They have sushi that I thought was priced well, bowls, Mac n cheese, collards, roast, marinated olives, pizza and popcorn. So if you are not in the mood to cook I definitely suggest to check it out. The rest of the store is fine, but expect to pay additional $2-$3 more than other stores. I will definitely come back for the pre-made food.

First time I visited this store, it was OK. Highly-priced,…read morebut the new-store feel was sorta nice. The upper deck gives me a little anxiety because of the height, but that's just me. It is still pretty cool to get a good view of the entire store at once, however. My complaint is that the pharmacy is lacking in customer service and general knowledge of just about everything. The pharmacy manager is not a reason to keep coming back to this location, and I will keep it at that. I am NOT impressed. Basically, I think this store is an overrated, overpriced rip-off of every other grocery store in the area. The one in Virginia Beach was a little better than this one when I went there. This location though?.. I prefer it back when it was a Farm Fresh. Nobody needs the contaminated "Boar's Head" deli crapwiches. Stick to mystery meat from a gas station. You'll probably get the same results, anyway. Just don't go to this place's pharmacy when you get sick from it! Not a good reflection on the Pubix name.

Hands down the best cidery in the area. Went here on a whim on what turned out to be a very…read moreimportant occasion (Ryan's Day), and stayed for much longer than anticipated. The location is a laid back and comfortable farmhouse with great outdoor seating and a smooth indoor draft service. Awesome selection of both draft beers and, most importantly, cider. No misses from what I ordered- and I ordered quite a bit. The bartenders know their craft and are great conversations. Good dudes. The owner is a lad as well. 10/10 experience, and will definitely be returning soon and often. -KC

I really love that they're always hosting events here! I'm also a huge fan of the rotating food…read moretrucks and seasonal brews. There's always something different going on, which keeps things interesting and gives me a reason to keep coming back. I also really like that they serve wine too, so there's something for everyone depending on what you're in the mood for. Service has never been an issue for me. It's always been fast and efficient, even when they're busy. My biggest complaint is honestly the crowds. A lot of times it gets really crowded, and there isn't enough parking, so you end up having to park across the street. The problem is that there's no traffic light there, which makes crossing the street pretty stressful when traffic is heavy. The left turn out of the place can also be frustrating because it's on such a busy road. It can cause traffic to back up, and I've seen some pretty questionable situations with cars trying to get in and out. And once it gets crowded, seating becomes another issue. There simply isn't enough seating for the number of people who show up. Obviously, it's a great problem for the business to have, but not necessarily a great experience for customers. Overall, I really enjoy coming here for the events, food trucks, seasonal brews, and wine. I just wish the parking, traffic, and seating situation were better because those things can definitely take away from an otherwise great experience.

The market is only open every other Friday from 4-7 PM, but it is absolutely worth making the trip during those limited hours! They have an amazing group of vendors selling items such as fresh produce, goat's milk soap, local honey, cheeses, herbs, flowers, baked goods, coffee, and SO MUCH MORE. I was thrilled with the wide variety of stops and didn't leave until I had checked out every vendor. I wound up buying lavender black tea from Green Leaf Pebble Tea Spa, a bunch of gorgeous flowers from Studio Posy, and a bunch of broccolini (I didn't catch this vendor's name ). I could have chosen something at every stop! Everyone I spoke to was highly knowledgeable about their products and very friendly. The market is located at Blair Middle School and there are two city lots there on Spotswood with plenty of parking.
