Plus added peace of mind that I have coverage when I need a car rental. My car and home policies were transferred to Tom Lusich in Shoreline after Frank Fu in Seattle/UDistrict retired. This is a comprehensive and long overdue post (8/3/23). I have not met Mr. Lusich or any of his office associates in person. However, dealing with them via email or telephone has been seamless and professional with additions or changes made to specific policies. Most recently, I am finally dealing with a windshield ding that became an extensive crack across the driver's side. I received a referral from my long time service advisor at a local car dealership. I called Tom Lusich's State Farm office, got the authorization based on my policy, all the logistics were dealt with, and my windshield replacement appointment was scheduled all within the same business day. I left several messages for the agent after the accident, when I did not hear back from her after 2-hours I called one of the partners listed on the website, Dan Rucker, he was extremely rude, condescending and misogynistic. He questioned if the accident even happened as I had explained (like I have time to call companies and make false claims). He offered no assistance in terms of providing a solution for a rental car or helping me get my vehicle towed to a body shop. He said that was my responsibility to cover, even though it was his policyholder that hit my car. He said he would need to "validate" my claim with the company, even though the company stated that they had already spoken to PLC. I missed a return call from Dan, but he left a message where he stated they would file the claim, that day, with Liberty Mutual. I called him back to get more details on next steps and was put straight to voicemail. He is yet to call me back and neither has Dawn, the assigned agent that I left 2 messages for earlier in the day. As of this post, it has been over 24 hours and I have yet to hear back. Since I did not hear back from PLC by the end of the business day, I called the Liberty Mutual Commercial Division myself, so I could get an update. When I spoke with the claims department, they stated that a claim had not been filed, as I was told it would be by Dan. Insurance is one of those industries where you expect responsiveness and empathy. My interactions with PLC thus far have been completely opposite.

While going through a tough time in my life he called just to check in and say hello and see how I was doing. NO selling, just a friendly call. After a few, lets say "incidents" my auto insurance was going to go up. I had to make a switch. After trying to quote me several different policies he said to go get some other quotes and there's bound to be someone cheaper. WHAT?? Yes, like i said he cares about his clients and understood the position i was in and he knew i would be back after some "things" started to fall off my driving record. I still kept my renters insurance and life policy and my father has all of his policies with Jerry. My father has been with Allstate for over 37 years so not only does Jerry really take care of you he works for one of the best insurance companies there is.
