This was really frustrating as we don't have rental car insurance and we timed this months ahead so that it could be during a week when we were out of town on vacation. We were notified a couple days ago that the order wasn't assigned, by Service King, to which we emailed John to take care of and his office confirmed would be taken care of. We emailed last night to confirm and make sure that the order would get there since we had the appointment the next day and as of yesterday night, they say order will be there. I go to service King and they refuse to take my car because the order is still not there. I have been calling service King and John's office all morning trying to sort out the mixup. Neither side still has any clue what to do to correct the situation and get the order to the correct location. After securing childcare for the morning and dragging my sick self to the repair shop, I was forced to bring my damaged car back home. Super frustrating. Update: 10 days later from my initial post and haven't received a single update or call from the office. I called them this morning and told John was on another call and someone would need to call me back, but was told the office had been "working on the claim" last week and someone would get back to me before eod. They called me midday and said the repair shop had gotten the info so they should have called me. I call Service King Repair who tell me they just got the info they needed from Allstate and hour ago (!) and proceed to try and help me along. Obv the ball was dropped and they tried to scramble to fix the mess yet again. I do not recommend working with this office. Disorganized and dishonest. If you messed up, at least be up front and on top of making things right.

I've had car/boat/landloard/renter/house insurance with John. He has gone above and beyond time and again. Besides always getting back to me with any questions lighting quick, here are a few instances. - I was planning on driving my boat across the country and had some documents to send back, but when I was going to leave Allstate was closed. I was able to call John and ON HIS DAY OFF he still was able to get me on a policy before I left. - When I had a pipe burst and water damage in my house, John went over all the math with me - how much my premiums would go up, the deductibles, everything and made it a very easy choice on whether to file a claim. In the past I've had people obfuscate this type of information but John made is super clear - Whenever I have a question he gets back to me. "My boat stranded me and I had to tow it back? Is this covered?" "Yes, send us the receipt" - He's recommended that I buy less insurance for things that don't matter. He never upsells me. He talks to me about the coverage I'm buying and what it means. Am I passionate about insurance now? I never thought I would be but maybe! Honestly, having an insurance agent and agency I trust has been a game changer.

Tried to dodge my questions about availability and delay by saying "we will get back to you in a few days" (spoiler alert: they didn't.) If you work with this agency be prepared to get stonewalled and have your complex policy questions only partially addressed by gatekeeper agents. Don't expect to talk to Jeff himself. It's his agency in name only. 2 stars because Gideon was efficient with making some of the changes I requested on my WA policies.

I had utilized the insurance for collisions and incidents through the years with no issues. Everyone has been helpful and kind, no complaints. He had a minor incident with the snow and a ditch last year and needed to get his car fixed. A handful of months later his premium increased exorbitantly. By $600.00. When I called the office to ask why, they weren't able to give me an answer. The gal said she would look into it and call me back. Never received a call back. Yes, please...let me give the company WAY more money for absolute unknown reasons. Okay. Yeah. Wtf. And wait for a communication that will never be received. Great business model. Decided enough was enough and clearly loyalty means nothing to the company. Ditched them and never looked back. I suppose I am silly for thinking that over 20 years of business would have potentially warranted a call or email to check in after cancelling (or following up to not let it get to that point). Yet, nothing. I'm honestly disappointed. Shows me that I made the right call.

I was told my assigned agent was out of office for the holiday and that nothing could be done. However, that agent's voicemail clearly stated to press 1 to be connected to another agent, which I did. The alternate agent immediately confirmed that what Kris told me was incorrect. From there, I was forced to do the work myself. I personally called the policy department to remove our totaled vehicle from the policy. The representative I spoke with even stated that this was the agent's responsibility, but since it was not being handled, they would take care of it for me. That should never happen. When you are dealing with a total loss, you should not have to fact check your agent, chase down departments, and resolve issues on your own. I do not recommend ProStar if you are involved in an accident. Be prepared to handle everything yourself, because this office will not proactively help you. I dropped ProStar immediately after this experience. For comparison, I switched to Robert Pfarr at Allstate and the difference is night and day in terms of customer care, responsiveness, and knowledge. His team has been wonderful. I would not recommend ProStar to anyone, even as a last resort.

Anthony doesn't answer calls, doesn't reach out to lenders to get escrow insurance payments, doesn't return calls, takes days if not weeks to respond to emails, tells me that he can't get payment from my lender but tells me we have time because Safeco isn't cancelling policies because of the fires, then lets my policies cancel, doesn't tell me anything, doesn't inform me of the cancellations, doesn't let me know it's pending cancellation, then I start getting collection agencies calling me from Safeco. This is absolutely unacceptable for clients!! Anthony has wasted my time and money and continues to do so. Stay away from this place! You have been warned!!

NEVER BUY INSURANCE FROM THIS AGENT OR STATE FARM!!!!…read more State Farm Insurance and their agent - Jim Jones are scamming consumers by sugar coating their offering and then ditching consumers as soon as they file claims. Recently, I have had to deal with huge amount of problem with their unethical and down right illegal business practices. Here's the run down: 1. They chose to kick me off my home policy, as soon as I filed a claim. The claim was 100% valid. If they had told me this is what would happened if I filed claim. I would have never bought insurance with them. Not to mention that I lost huge amount of money because of reduced insurance while switching. 2. Since my home policy was cancelled, there was no point in me keeping my auto policy with them as well. So I called them up on Dec 10th to cancel my auto policy effective Jan 4th 2012. Turns out the policy got cancelled on Dec 12th. I just found out, I have been driving without insurance for almost 2 weeks. 3. Not only did they decide to abruptly cancel my auto policy they also sent me additional bill to be paid. $124 to be exact. If anything I should be getting refund, not getting charged more because my rates went up or my discount no longer applied.
