Better than just 5 stars! Have been in touch with Pete for our home and car insurance since 7 months now. Both me and my husband are way more pleased with his personalized services. Pete has always given us the right advice. For instance he recommended us to upgrade our car insurance to a gold plan last year, saving me from my premium going up when I had my first accident - when my car scraped a Lexus in March. At the time of the accident, Pete even went out of his way and took the whole case in his hands. He did the entire paper work on my behalf and even shielded me from the rude Progressive insurance representative's (the other party's insurance) - who were repeatedly threatening me via phone and email. I was recommended Pete through my mortgage folks and had chosen AllState for its competitive prices. But the personalized advice PLUS the services I have received in return are way beyond what I had expected and a complete bonus!! And did I mention he is witty and a has a wonderful sense of humor too! Those just compliment his nature. read more

Unfortunately, same experiences as the other negative reviews. The amount increased, inquired and they, Katie had no clear answers. A bunch of "maybes", and "hypotheticals" until I finally asked for her to actually find out why. She then returned with a bunch of technical mumbo jumbo of course, insurance jargon that I still did not understand. Was NOT made clear. Then AFTER payment, my policy was dropped. I was told to go elsewhere and they didn't even try to retain me or work with me. A bunch of "I'm sorry". I drive extremely well, for over 25 years?, *knocks on wood*, I barely drive at all now, my policy was still pricy in my opinion. So yes, after dealing with you all, and this convoluted mess, I will take my business elsewhere, and advise you all to avoid this office. Maybe, Allstate is good? I'd probably avoid Allstate altogether if you want coverage and not to be dropped randomly and sent away. The incompetence of this office and the seeming lies, and lack of accountability is not a good look. Thanks for nothing. Pete's been my agent for quite some time. I can see why he has a loyal following. He always tells it to me straight and I feel like he really knows what he's talking about. Several times I've had some urgent issues on the weekend, and he has always called me back right away, instead of waiting until Monday morning. I created my Yelp account just to post my comments regarding Pete Bouchard and his crew. Chances are, if you're contacting your insurance company, something has probably gone wrong somewhere. Whether you just got backed into in a parking lot, a wind storm took out a part of your backyard fence, helping your teen driver get insured, or a faulty toilet fill valve ended up filling the walls of six rooms of your house with water. Yes, Pete and his office has helped my family with all of the above. I've been an Allstate customer for most of my adult life, and I've had my insurance with Pete since I moved to the area in 2011, and I have never been let down. Could I save money by shopping around for my insurance? Maybe, but I've never tried. My dealings with Mr. Bouchard and his team have been fantastic, and I am pleased with the value I get. His office is always ready to give me a hand with a question, and to make sure I understand everything regarding my policies. But again, if you're calling your insurance company for an incident or event, you're probably already in a grumpy mood. I've always been impressed with how quickly and easily working with this office has helped me get things "back to normal". That's a big deal to me. Responsive, respectful, smart, and friendly. I am very, VERY pleased with the service I get, and I'd recommend giving this office a call if you're shopping around for insurance. read more

I strongly advise against dealing with this office. I've been a customer my whole life with All State. My parents have been customers with All State their whole lives. We've never had a problem; that is until I moved and started dealing with this office. The entire charade was handled horribly. I switched from my parents' insurance to my own policy, and they quoted me a decent price so I signed up right away. (They made it extremely easy when they were wanting to take my money. Isn't that strange?) One year later, my payment went up $200, with no accidents or tickets during that time; just a random $200 spike per six months. I wasn't notified or anything either. You'll get about five spam e-mails a week from this guy, but if your rate increases by 50%, no notification required apparently. When I inquired about this ridiculous increase, I got every strange excuse in the book. He told me he couldn't look into it today because it was his birthday. He told me it was his secretary, Linda's fault. He tried to rationalize the price by saying it's still better than their competitors. He told me to just be patient and wait, and that he would definitely fix it. (I waited patiently for two weeks). There was a myriad of additional excuses I don't even feel like delving into. Long story short, he NEVER even figured out why my rate increased. I had to speak to his manager who eventually explained it to me. Unfortunately All State never made good on the promised rate either or provided any kind of concession for all the time wasted from this fiasco except an apology which actually came from Pete's manager, and not Pete himself who refused to even admit fault like a child. Pete doesn't understand his job. He doesn't know how to communicate via e-mail. He doesn't know how to treat customers with honesty and respect. Perhaps, worst of all, he makes excuses and acts condescending for his own ineptitude instead of owning up to his mistakes and learning from them. If you must be with All State for whatever reason, I strongly recommend another agent. There's even another one in Lynnwood. However, my main recommendation would be to find another company entirely. As some other user reviews have mentioned, they spike up your rate right away after promising a lower one. Despite Pete's assurance I wouldn't find a lower rate anywhere else, I found the same coverage for much cheaper at both Geico and Pemco. I signed on with Pemco as soon as possible after this and they've treated me with a lot of respect and helped me more in two minutes than All State ever did the entire time I was with them. read more

The best decision our family made was to switch to the Bouchard Agency. We were with a different agent that didn't give us the time of day. Pete and his team have saved us hundreds of dollars on our annual policy rates and made sound recommendations validated by our financial advisor. I switched to Pete about a year ago and I am so happy I did! cannot say enough great things. Six days after I started my policy a tree fell on my house in a bad windstorm. I got a hold of Pete right away (after hours) and he calmly walked me through everything we would need to do to start a claim. The next morning, he drove to my house to look at the damage and make sure we were ok. The claims process for repairing your house is often long and complicated, but Pete was with us every step of the way and was available to answer questions. A few days ago, I was in a car accident and I was able to get a hold of Pete right away. He guided me through all of the necessary next steps and helped me find a place that I was comfortable getting my car repaired. I cannot recommend Pete enough. Once you are his client, you are taken care of and he will do anything necessary for you to get back to to normal. Pete is a stellar partner.
