The Claims Department has horrible customer service(Karmen Koehmstedt). The Claims Department said we weren't covered and I had to email them to show them that yes indeed we were covered. HIGH PREMIUM'S, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I have had a home insurance policy and a car insurance policy with this brokerage firm for about 5 years. I rent out most of the house so I do not always live at the home's address. In the last 12 months I moved and called them for a mailing address change on the 2 policies. End result, one policy began to arrive at the new address and one not. After the second attempt at calling to rectify, there was still no change. Then the car insurance policy needed some updated information and the letter stated a deadline for the info, or the policy would be cancelled. I submitted the info, but for whatever reason I received notice the policy was being cancelled. SO, I called IWV and was connected to my new Agent, as my original Agent 'was no longer at this office'. The Agent took all my information, and I felt everything was fixed. About a week went by and I received notice that the policy was cancelled. Once again I called, but now the Agent was said to have been out of the office for some time for an unspecified reason, and apparently had not submitted the information before departure. The receptionist needed info blah blah, and would let me know thru email of result or questions. I rarely check email, so it's my fault (?). They had all my info, most of it twice. My next bank statement showed no auto-deduction for payment on car policy. I went into the office this time, and sure enough the policy had been cancelled and now had to be re-written. After the new policy was complete, I explained that my home ins policy was still going to old address, Agent said no problem, it would be taken care of. Now it is 30 days later, and home policy statement is STILL GOING TO WRONG ADDRESS!!! And I wouldn't be surprised if the car policy was never completed-I don't know as of this writing. For the first 4 years with IWV I felt I was in good hands, but after the last 12 months experience, I no longer have faith in this office's abilities.
