Our aunt and uncle treated us to an early lunch at the Farmer's Table today. What a neat little place! I wish we had more fresh food like this at home. We went with the sandwiches. You can't go wrong with a panini, and the pasta salad was lovely! They offer ginger snaps as a side - delightful! There's plenty to look, while you wait for your food to be prepared, and if you have a few extra minutes, be sure to visit the sweet shop next door! Ice cream, truffles, and a sweet staff too! On road back to Dallas,Tx we stopped by for sweet eats and browse for unique finds. Friendly staff, clean clean clean environment with many snack and meal choices. Didn't get a chance to check out the cafe but will absolutely be returning to do so. read more

This place rocks. It's small but has a lot of great stuff. It's an old Texaco station that they have converted into this farmer's market and I love it. Good, quality, local products - honey, jams, fruit, veggies, it's all good. Yes, the prices are higher than those other other grocery stores, but here, your money is going to the local community instead of the big corporate monkeys. I come here from time to time for their farmers market / country store vibe and there's always something on the reasonable side as far as veges and fruits go. They also have some great cheeses. The best visit was just after Halloween when they were giving away pumpkins outside the shop and you could pick your own, full sized and mini ones. How many ways can one prepare pumpkin? This is a wonderful farmers market, but even better is the little cafe inside. My husband and I recently had lunch there and ordered the chicken salad croissant and the chicken wrap. Both were wonderful, but the chicken salad was our favorite! All the ingredients are fresh and it's freshly made. In fact, we saw the staff go to the market area twice to get fresh veggies. I can't wait to try other sandwiches on the menu! The sweet tea and raspberry lemonade topped it all off perfectly! Everyone was friendly. read more

This place is great. In addition to local produce, they have goat cheese, locally made candy/fudge and artisan bread. I found their prices to be very reasonable. I bought bananas for .53 cents per pound that were organic. Non-organic bananas at Wal-mart the same day were .55 cents and at another grocer were .59 cents, so I saved money and got organic. The Farmer's Table took an old, abandoned eyesore gas station and improved on the location to make a great market! We love the convenient location, it is closer than any grocery store and the produce prices are the cheapest you will find in the area. You will also find dairy items including goat cheese and farmer's cheese. They have added spices and grains as well. read more

We had lunch at the farmers table today. We both got up and left our food on the table it was inedible. I had the strawberry chicken salad. The chicken was boiled with absolutely no flavor whatsoever. It was covered with moldy strawberries and the goat cheese was not good. It was in a prepackaged plastic salad container that you might buy in the produce section at a grocery store. My nephew had the chicken wrap he took two bites it had no flavor the chicken was boiled not grilled and it tasted old. I have eaten here several times before but not recently. I suggested going there today which I regret and I'm sure my nephew will never go there again. The desert case looked very good! read more

This place remodeled recently and it looks nice inside. The lighting and decor give it a better ambiance than there was before. They carry some locally made products like lotions, soaps, honey, jams, salsa, etc. The prices on some things are better than grocery stores, but others are much higher. The herbs are usually a better price here. They have discounted produce for cheap when it's about to go bad. There aren't a lot of parking spaces at this location. There are a few spaces in the front and more behind it. They have a little area inside where you can order sandwiches. I have not tried any of those. read more

After having a early afternoon lunch with a new acquaintance we visited the Farmers Table.I was pleased to be able to stroll through this quaint little store and sample the various types of honey, fresh produce and organics including soaps, legumes and a wonderful variety of preserves,jams and jelly. I purchased several food items and also a few favorite organic bath soaps. I also purchased the Carrot cake and a slice of the Coconut cake, both of which are very good. My favorite is the Carrot Cake! Today three days later I am returning to this "Little Treasure" with a friend of mine so that he too will be able to explore and enjoy this Special Find. Of course it goes without saying that I will definitely be bringing home my delicious Carrot Cake,a Lemon bar and whatever new goodies I come upon as I will definitely have more time to explore and enjoy all they have to offer! read more

I love it! Love it! Love it! I'm like a child on Christmas morning every time I go there. I find that I spend less there than in the groceries stores. I'm going once or twice a week now and end up spending less on groceries overall. We happened to be in the area on Saturday. Several people in Douglasville told us we had to check this place out & we did. We purchased fresh apples off the tree for .89 lb. three large ears of corn for $1.99, fresh brown eggs, & sweet onion, plus, a variety of snacks & treats. Boy are we happy! We plan to go back and try more items. Really the prices are good and the food is just what we enjoy. A girl at the spa said, she loves going there to shop because she bought several veggies & her total was $2.89. Yes she told me what she purchased however I am old & I do not remember. All I can say is if you haven't been you must go. With everyone wanting to eat farm to table it is the prefect place to pick up some items to do just that! Yum! read more

Douglasville really needed this market of fresh fruits & vegetables. They also carry spices, nuts, dried fruit not to mention a wide array of cheeses & summer sausages. They have expanded and now serve lunch. It's like having a mini Harry's or Whole Foods in my town. read more
