There was a bit of a wait right at the 3 PM check-in time because rooms hadn't yet been cleared for check-in. Also, the hallway seemed a bit warm for a hot summer day, but there were no temperature issues inside our room. Our king bed room was clean. It had a nice-sized shower with sliding glass doors. I was able to shower and relax for a few hours after a long day because it was fairly quiet (except for some limited street noise).

And sadly, the guy who runs the place is unresponsive and the maintenance guy was not wearing a mask at any point during my stay here (I was the only one that I saw who was), at the height of COVID. And I was told that this was a place where nurses and doctors stay long term due to proximity to the hospital, so these might have been the 50% of nurses who refused the vaccine, because they clearly didn't take it seriously. This Inn is a place where the money goes to the owner but there is no upkeep. He's essentially a slumlord. I imagine he actually visits this place once a year or so, if that. I also asked for a breakdown of room costs per day (they were the same per day) to submit for financial reimbursement, which the owner kept saying he would do, but never did. It was a frustrating stay.

This hotel is very well located to many amazing, fun, and delicious spots in the Metro Center. It is right off of 795, too, making it a great spot to stay in Owings Mills. It so nice to have a free outdoor activity to entertain everyone. I had a great time. On this occasion I got some Missikn BBQ. I enjoyed out in the little avenue area they have roped off. They no longer allow and consumption of alcoholic outside so you will have to enjoy that at one of the few locations nearby before coming out to see the music. Smoking is not allowed but there are always a few violators. I saw plenty of security monitoring the area and they will remind people this is an alcohol and smoke free event. I had a great time and will come back as long as the weather cooperates.

I feel that the staff could have been more proactive in cleanup/reset, and a bit more organized. Other than that, the staff had really great energy and were helpful!
