There used to be more vendors selling here, but that's ok. I still like shopping for fresh vegetables from local growers. My favorite is buying honey that is harvested locally. The farmers here selling their produce are always friendly and they offer samples of fruit if you ask. Then of course, you can't miss the smell of the food being cooked by the food vendors as well. If you haven't had your breakfast yet, don't miss out on buying pupusas or tamales or whatever you're hungry for that morning. Enjoy your morning eating here after you shop.

Although he can't provide everything the prior people could provide, due to lack of as much agricultural land for growing and a few other factors, what he does sell is just as good as always. This year, his berries are better than ever, his wonderful "home-grown" tomatoes are just coming in, and he also has great avocados, citrus, and squash. He is open Mon. through Thurs., I believe from 9:30 a.m. until he's sold out. Strawberries go fast, so get there early. I was there around 1 p.m. last week, and snagged the last half-flat. Very disappointed lady came in as I was leaving, so I gave her a box. Prices are $5 per box, $30/half-flat (six boxes), $60/flat (12 boxes). Best strawberries anywhere, for real. We drive quite a ways just to get to this little market. Enjoy!

Highly recommend getting a breakfast quesadilla or sandwich from the Grove School's Raven Cafe booth (choose from veggie or bacon options) to support the school itself. Some regular vendors include local farmers with fruits and vegetables, and booths selling farm fresh eggs, flowers, ceramics, knife sharpening for $5 per blade, baked goods, dog and cat treats, live music, a coffee cart, and a variety of food tents that sell hot fresh food! You order from a kiosk but then are greeted by someone when your order is ready, from that specific place. Each time I've gone, I've had good customer service. Nothing spectacular but what you'd expect. Since so many options, price points vary that can help you stay within a budget if that's what you're looking for. Spacious and clean. Overall, we much prefer the Anaheim Packing District and Haven City Market. They offer a much better experience, including easier parking.

Whew! Abby and Jason included in the previous crate a cute bouquet of flowers too! Theirs is an enterprise that should be supported. For $50 a month, you get two shares of locally grown, beautiful, fresh and delicious organic produce. And for feeding your family healthfully? Priceless!
