San Diego native here! Was visiting one of my close friends in the area and she took me here for lunch. It was actually both our first times so it was nice. Similar to San Diego's Liberty Public Market but with fewer restaurant selections which isn't a bad thing. We arrived around 11a on a Sunday and easily found parking. There wasn't a crowd but things definitely picked up around noon. The Public Market included a variety of restaurant stalls from bbq, chicken sandwiches, sushi, ramen, Mediterranean, Filipino cafes, etc. They also had a little arcade corner with claw machines for some fun! I ordered a banana matcha with crystal boba, oatmilk and light ice, from Tsoko Cafe, one of the Filipino cafes I mentioned. It was amazing and did not disappoint. There was plenty of seating but definitely filled up quickly. Get there before noon if you're aiming to grab seats and avoid large crowds. Would go again! read more

We had such a fun time at Redlands Public Market! My husband and I came out for a date night, and it was my first time there. It totally gave me Packing House District in Anaheim vibes, lively, welcoming, and full of options. There are so many different places to eat, plus a bar, so you can really pick whatever you're craving. The night we went, they were hosting trivia, which made it even more fun. We love Redlands Public Market! It's centrally located in Redlands with plenty of free parking. Our last two gatherings included more than 12 family members. It was confusing at first waking into the market, but I quickly realized that you had to place your order on the kiosks. You can order from all of the restaurants of of the same kiosk. You then go to that restaurant to pick up your order when it's ready. They had lots of seating in the center of the market, but it was a little noisy. We decided to try it a small table best the restaurant that we ordered from, but there was a young child near us who would not stop screaming. We ended up sitting outside. It was nice and quiet. We enjoyed the view as well. If you don't mind loud crowds then you should be fine. But there's always the option to sit outside. read more

Most recently, Yelp held an event in collaboration with Baba's Hot Chicken (BHC). I was so excited BHC is located in Redlands Public Market (RPM). My first time at RPM. It is located in vibrant downtown Redlands. Fun fact, it's housed in an historic 1890 landmark packing house. I love history. So cool! RPM recently grand opened in February 2025. It's not even 6 months old. It now houses over 20+ family and locally run businesses to serve us yummy and delicious foods, drinks, and entertainment. I can vouch for that because I've been here and I know what it offers to its local community. Limited street parking. Do not park at nearby businesses. Please read the signs. Free public structured parking is available on the north side of train tracks on Stuart accessible via Orange or Eureka Streets. It is an easy few minutes walk from parkng structure to RPM. Good outdoor and indoor seatings available. Entertainment courtyard featuring live music, creator markets, and more. Arcade is also here via Supernova Slice Pizza Arcade. I came here on a Thursday night. Lots of people. I got foods and drinks from 4 different vendors. Self-ordering kiosks plus QR scan codes are available. Prices will vary from vendor to vendor. That being said, Baba's was the only highlight during this visit. My family and I tried some overpriced falafels from Fufu's, the food was almost burnt. Aside from that, we didn't feel a welcoming atmosphere at a majority of these food shops other than Baba's. Staff seemed disengaged and several patrons had really bad attitudes. The Japanese restaurant was very pompous and its patrons had 24/7 stank face, we skipped that one. Food halls are supposed to be fun, I don't know why people were so sour. I'll credit the Public Market for its large seating area and spacious tables. I also noticed staff were cleaning regularly as customers came and went. They advertised some cool shirts in the front but they weren't selling anything, this got me a little disappointed. Parking was a hot mess, the signage was poor and they expect you to pull over on a busy street to scan a QR code that's hard to access unless you're walking on the sidewalk. If you' don't scan this, your first visit looking for the food hall's parking structure will be a messy one. Good news for you, I'll tell you where it is! Pros: Variety of food options, Redlands mural was painted by my friend! Cons: Parking is hideous! Great addition to Redlands. Kind of feels like a smaller scale version of Anaheim Packing District. The variety of restaurants and eateries is done pretty well. There's some outdoor seating but I wish there was more. Last time I was there, it looked like there was a patio area being developed next to the main building and next door retail building. The restrooms are downstairs via stairwell. I'm not remembering if there is an elevator. They heavily advertise community events open to families. I haven't had the chance to come out to their public events - but if I did, I'd have to pre-plan the parking situation. While the Metrolink parking garage is large, it fills up quickly on busier days. Since the theater parking is not for packing district, your only other parking option is street parking which is also limited. Thankfully the Redlands Mall is up the street and not too far a walk (5-7 minutes). read more

Service is all depended on where you're getting food from and when. On a week day it's not crazy or horrible but there's tons of people on the weekends and holidays, it's not worth going to. Parking isn't too bad if you're familiar with the area! I promise if you use the parking structure and the soon to be vacant look theater parking it's a non issue. It's a decent spot when you're with a group of people, but no fun if you're trying to hang out one on one. It's a gentrified cafeteria like the one in la but worse, because it's priced the same but we're in the ie. I feel like I've been here enough times to say that you can get almost everything offered here, for better prices and qualities nearby. Redlands is full of good food and a lot of it is downtown. I got a birria quesadilla from Fred's red tacos. It was $20 and sure it's a good size, it tastes fine, but I asked for no onions and it's like they put on extra onions to spite me. It also had a weird tap water taste and they put it on paper that melts into the quesadilla so you get a nice bite of greasy disintegrating paper with your food. Please stop using the paper. The pizza place using ai art for their logo and branding tells you all you need to know. All of the games are ridiculously expensive to take advantage of the alcohol around. The prizes in the claw machine are drop shipped Ali express plushies and toys. The candy claw machine MUST be a joke because it's play till you win and always seems to be going. For the food it's $8 for a slice, but go around the corner to Jersey's pizza and you can get a whole personal pizza hot from the oven for $8. It actually tastes good and hasn't been sitting under a lamp all day like the cheese pizza I had here. It's just so incredibly disappointing to finally have an arcade in town and it's the worst most predatory version you could think of. The 90's "speakeasy" is also a little hole in the wall with no ac and overpriced drinks. We're talking $12 for a very light pour and some soda. I cannot tell you how sweaty it was in there even with very few people in there. Getting in is also a pain as you need reservations, and the staff were rude to my friend when she wandered in through the lower floor from the bathroom and asked what it was. Also if you leave to use the bathroom they don't let you back in. I've tried all of the new tea and coffee places in here, and with viva boba, krak, and all of the coffee in downtown so close by? They need to try a lot harder if they want to compete. It's $8 for a small tea drink, and $8 for a slice of pizza in the same building. Simply leave the building and you can get a $8 large tea drink at viva, and as I mentioned before AN ENTIRE PERSONAL PIZZA at jersey's. Maybe that will put into perspective what's going on here. I haven't tried the sushi place, because the prices seem astronomically high. Again, Kyo sushi is a mere 5 minutes away. I hope all of the owners of these places are trying their best, the servers are so nice. But this feels like a trend and if anything I hope the pizza place gets a vibe check because it's by far the worst offender. read more

This sounds odd, but when you leave, your shirt will smell like fry oil. Blech. A lot of open kitchens, not bad, but all the fried food and smells accumulate. I like the variety of foods, and not ALL franchises that you can find at Riverside Food Lab, making this unique and special. I'm disappointed in the veggie options, TBH. There are a lot of vegetarians in this community, and the burger place especially, seems intentionally exclusionary. There's an indoor/outdoor thing that we'll see how they manage in July. In all, good, not great. If I could give 3.5 stars I would. It's new, it'll improve. read more

Just opened a week or so ago! I like it a lot! I still feel Haven City in Rancho is slightly better because there's more tables and seats for people, even on weekends. Also, Haven has more food vendors. BUT quality over quantity! Because I really liked the food we ordered from RPM (Redlands Public Market), probably more so than at Haven's. I don't think they should open more vendors since it's kind of cramped already. The 3 vendors we tried were pretty delicious! Taco Twist, Nava Sausage Co, and Tsokos Cafe! Check my individual reviews for each of those places on their respective yelp page. It was very packed and crowded at Redlands this past weekend. It's still in the process of being fully ready since there's a couple of stalls still not open. Service is slow.... The barcode to scan for online ordering wasn't working I think.....? But the kiosks around the market work! Very efficient rather than waiting in line. But it doesn't work for all vendors quite yet. Also, some construction material is sitting around. A little dangerous if going to the main restroom downstairs and your little ones play around if waiting. The parking situation is also tricky. They have this huge parking structure on the left side of the front entrance of RPM, but I'm not sure if it's accessible to get to the market from there. It was confusing when we parked there. We decided to leave and park at the Look Movie Theater area instead but even that looked pretty full. UPDATE: Apparently there is a walkway connecting the garage to the market! Overall, I'm a fan of RPM. I'll probably update my review once they are fully open and ready. I hope they improve a little more, also their service for some places are a little longer than I'd like given how busy it was. It was a tad chaotic . RPM is comparable to Anaheim Packing District as well as Grand Central Market in DTLA, aside from Haven City in Rancho Cucamonga. I'm so happy that RPM is finally open! I've been here multiple times since it opened and can't wait for all of the food offerings to open, so far I've tried Cornerstone BBQ, Fred's Red Tacos and RPM Bar. As always Cornerstone BBQ was really good, I liked the slider trio so I could try 3 different things. At Fred's I tried the Birria Grilled Cheese, it was OK but I think the regular tacos would be better because the bottom bread just gets too soggy. I really like that you can use the tablets to order food that way if you want food from multiple places you don't have to stand in line at each one. Each time I've ordered food and then sat and ordered drinks at RPM Bar. The only issue is going to be that there isn't nearly enough seating for the crowds that are going to come on weekends. read more
