First time here and it was a nice discovery. We checked out Kemet Egyptian Food that was located inside. Here's what we ordered: Gyro - no tomatoes ** meat was delicious, everything about the gyro was a hit and I've had my share to know what's good Chicken Shawarma sandwich - with everything ** my third daughter ordered this and really enjoyed it Egyptian Pizza - there's only like 3 choices, the guy there recommended the meat, veggies, and cheese. ** I'm not a fan of anything soggy foods because I'm that person that won't eat it right away. The pizza is a little bigger than a personal sized pizza you would get from Pizza hut, but in the form of a calzone cut in 4. It's a little on the greasy end, my first and fourth daughter said it was just okay. Turkey Sandwich - w/no lettuce or tomatoes ** Again, I don't like soggy foods, so ordering this sandwich was a treat for lunch the next day. Sandwich is good, cheese is too thick for me, I tried reheating it during lunch, but the cheese refused to melt...so there's that! Baklava - Ordered a lot because who doesn't like baklava? I will however, suggest that you get the baklava tray in the actual market, it comes with a variety of flavors and it's only $11.99 (wish I had gotten a pic, but here we are)! Overall, I would recommend this spot to others curious about Egyptian food, it's similar to Mediterranean and worth the try. We would most likely return for the Gyro and Chicken Shawarma sandwiches. Tried Kemet Egyptian Food in front of Redlands Ranch Market today and dang... I wasn't expecting it to be that good. The chicken shawarma was amazing. That garlic tzatziki sauce though... sooo good. I had a very disappointing experience at Redlands Ranch Market. I bought a cake that had a strange, off taste, and even worse, a package of chicken drumsticks had a visible cockroach in it. When I spoke with the manager, he belittled me and was really condescending. I told him my husband thought the cake tasted like bleach, and to me, it just tasted spoiled. Instead of being concerned, he rudely pointed out that those are different things and asked me which it was--spoiled or bleach. Then he made a rude comment, saying they don't use bleach in their bakery ingredients. I hope they seriously improve their food safety and customer service, because this was completely unacceptable. read more

I see more East Asian herbs like Thai Basil and veggies like winter melon pop up seasonally. While the aisles are a bit narrow, I appreciate the large variety of Persian, Indian, Asian, and especially Mexican food and goods. Staff was super helpful. Brisket is tender, not very fatty, I love it fatty and to be clear I didn't ask for fatty so maybe I should have, the seasoning on top is salty. The pork ribs were tender and better seasoned but barely warm, cool at the center. I tried the potato salad but it is very mustardy for me so I got Mac and cheese instead but it's overcooked and cheddary. The Mac and cheese in the fresh part of the store inside said it's made with Velveta so I thought this would be too but it isn't. The beans are good. The sauce is good too. I asked for fresh onion and pickle but they don't have any so she offered me some fried onions they use on the sandwich's and potatoes they are not salted at all so I didn't eat them. The market itself has a food variety of different ethnicities. You MUST check them out. They also have an area inside the market WHERE THEY MAKE FRESH FRUIT DRINKS(agua fresca). They set out samples for their drinks and corn(elote). On the opposite side they have fresh samples of their guacamole and chip. FIRE!!! Their customer service is amazing. My rating is based mainly on their desserts. First off the establishment is fairly well kept and organized. They have quite a large selection of international products. Which is a plus. Some products do cost more compared to other stores. So on to the desserts. I've tried the rice pudding, chocolate flan cake and low carb tres leches cake. I'm planning on trying the other desserts soon. Rice pudding and the chocolate cake flan was really good. I would definitely get them again. The consistency of both was exceptional. If you're on a keto diet or looking for low carb dessert then you might want to try the low carb tres leches. They do have the regular tres leches as well but I haven't tried it so can't tell you how that one is. But this one is as good just not with all the sugar and the cake is not soaked as the regular. They do have other low carb desserts that I'm willing to try out next time. Nonetheless I think this is a great market. Side note: Everyone raves about their guacamole. Yes yes yes! Amazing BbQ at the Ranch Market in north Redlands. Here's a little tip. As part of the store, but in the very front of the Ranch Market in north Redlands, they have THE BEST BBQ around!! It almost looks like it's outside of the store, they have a barbecue booth. It's not like you would go there to sit and have dinner, but you could definitely order it and take it home or take it to a party or take it wherever. They make the most delicious brisket ever. I'm a native Texan and I have tried all of the local places in the Inland Empire for good barbecue and I prefer to go to the Ranch Market to get my cooked lean brisket. I make beans and slaw, potato salad, cobbler or banana pudding at home, but they sell all that there too. I usually pick up several pounds of this for parties or birthday celebrations at the house. I think they also sell barbecue sandwiches and barbecue plates and pulled pork and sausage and all of that for individual meals. But every time we go, we just buy the cooked brisket by the pound and bring it home to eat. Also, if you ask them for lean cut, they will cut the fat off before they weigh it and before you purchase it. Love love love the barbecue at Ranch Market in north Redlands. They make it there. So I saw this place featured on another platform about how awesome this place is. I was in the area and decided to stop in. I ordered the barbecue stuffed baked potato. I ordered the barbecue stuffed baked potato with pulled pork and everything on it. I really liked the idea of all the goodies being on it.. I was somewhat disappointed as everything was clumped together on top of pulled pork from the shredded cheese and was all stuck together in one big piece and was difficult to eat with just a plastic fork.. The pulled pork was good, but was better once you added the barbecue sauce that came in the little cup.. When you are at the pick up window you are prompted on the debit card scanner and asked by the employee if I want to leave a tip?? On a 16 dollar baked potato.. Outstanding international grocery store with a craft beer cave stocking Heady Topper and Focal Banger from the Alchemist -- two highly sought after and rare Northeastern (NE) IPAs from Vermont. As a food nerd, my mind was over stimulated with the products at this independent, international grocery store in Redlands. Outside you'll find a Texas-inspired barbecue window serving chopped brisket (not Texas style) and other smoked meats. Their best seller is the brisket along with their mac and cheese and baked beans. The stand out was their baked beans. Do not miss trying these baked beans. The brisket is not cut like what I've had in central Texas and does not have much flavor. I would recommend ordering a side of beans and throwing some brisket in it for flavor. Another stand out is their tortilleria making simple ingredient corn tortillas in house and also selling flour tortillas made in Sonora, Mexico. You'll find grocery items you can't find everywhere like Portuguese goods and sodas. I also enjoyed looking through their tea selection and picked up some teas based on a customers recommendation to me when she saw me looking at the teas. There's also an in-house panaderia where I picked up a concha. I was hoping to find local produce from Redlands and surrounding areas like oranges from Riverside, but I didn't see anything labeled as local. If you're in Redlands or passing through and need to use a clean restroom, a visit to Redlands Ranch is worth a visit to also pick up some interesting food, snacks, drinks, beer, Sonoran flour tortillas, and some of their baked beans. This is the type of grocery that I wished open in my neighborhood. The team I encountered working at this grocery store were super friendly and helpful. It had a great small-town vibe. Very disappointed. After purchasing bacon from the meat section, I got home and found mold on it when I opened the package. I called the store to report it and was only told, "Sorry my manager served that to you." The lack of concern or accountability was upsetting. I don't plan to return. Was in the area to go to the Harkins movie theater, and wanted to drop by to try the NEW smoked turkey breast that has been heavily advertised on TV lately. I opted for the $22 two-meat and 2 sides special (turkey, brisket, beans and mac 'n cheese). Turkey was fine, but the brisket had way too much fat on it, after I specifically asked for NO fat. Beans were great (perhaps the best I have ever had). but the mac 'n cheese was just average. Other frustrating things: 1. Super SLOW service, as it took almost 20 minutes for my order with only 1 person ordering a pulled pork sandwich ahead of my. Why? 2. Despite big time TV advertising, there was NO mention anywhere about turkey on the menus or the pricing thereof. Why? 3. No salt, No pepper and No toothpicks. Why? 4. Grossly over priced slabs of pork ribs ($40) and beef ribs ($50)...And why NO combos of other meats and partial slabs of ribs? Not cool. How about a few slices of the turkey along with say 4 pork ribs for $22 with 2 sides? That would be something customers could get behind. And how about some turkey gravy instead of only BBQ sauce? As a lifelong resident of Redlands, I've been going here for years. Mostly shopping for Mexican ingredients for party's and bbqs. For the past several years I'd also pick up beer here as there was always a great selection of local beer. However, over the past year or so when I buy beer here, I've noticed the canned date and BB date on the beer was long past. I told myself to be weary of buying beer here. This past week I stopped in to buy pan dulce and figured I'd grab some beer while I was there. When I got home and opened said beer, I looked at the canned date and noticed it was November of 2024, and the Enjoy by date was April of 2025. In reading these dates as of June of 2026. That's well over a year from the enjoy by date. Do I feel ripped off? Yes. Will I buy beer there ever again? Nope. Will I buy carne, pan dulce, tortillas and other Mexican ingredients there again?
