Lights dimmed then died, the car struggled to keep running. I limped home on a wing and a prayer. This morning I started looking for a shop that would at least do a diagnostic right away so I could figure out my plans for going back to Virginia on Monday. After calling a few shops that wouldn't even let me have the car towed to them I found Hooligan Motorsports. A quick call with Rob and he said he could have a look at it as soon as I could get it there. We both suspected the Alternator and within 20 minutes of having the car dropped off Rob called to tell me that he could have it fixed up same day, and an hour or so after that he called again to say the car was ready to be picked up! On top of helping me out of my sudden problem right away, the cost of repair was surprisingly affordable. I'm truly fortunate to find this shop. Rob is very easy to work with. He was the miracle I needed today, and I have found the local shop where we will be taking our repair needs in the future.

I was quoted one cost per hour but billed at $15/hour more than promised. I was told when to bring…read moremy car in, which I confirmed with them the day before, and yet my car sat untended to for over a week, That cost me $350 in additional car rental expense. The attitude of the shop manager was antagonistic and disinterested in providing good customer service. The car was supposed to have numerous complementary inspections as part of the repairs but none were done. I guess they busted off a bolt that holds a valve cover on because there is no bolt head, only some black epoxy looking stuff that fills the hole (BIG problem next time the cover has to be removed). They were seldom open according to when they said they would be so I waited in the rain numerous times for them to eventually drop in. Totally inept and dishonest. I would only recommend them to my ex-wife.
