At the end, everything was function tested while we waited, in front of me. Adam also provided no-nonsense practical advice for our other vehicle, all while talking with me during the visit. Prices not posted, or I missed it. $160 for diagnostic tests on electrical System, but they try to do it in 1 day. They will drive you home if you can not wait there. Service Dept wants an appointment and could take you 3 weeks, they do not have the help. They do try hard but who can go without a vehicle in Huntsville for 3 weeks. It is a problem.

Engine running, indicator on dash showed it was in park but the lever wouldn't move out of drive. The linkage between the shifter and the transmission became disconnected. I take my Jeep here for oil and tire service and they always do a great job. I took it in and they verified the broken connection. The fix is a part from Doorman: part 14055. The local parts store sells it for $16.99. When the plastic part was replaced - about two hours after they started working on it - the bill came to just under $120. They charged me $29.99 for that $16.99 part... Upcharge was almost x2. I am an app user and had a coupon for $15.00 off any service other than an oil change. The manager denied my using that coupon - did everything short of calling me a liar stating the coupon - that came from their app - wasn't from their app. My history with this company is over. The replacement of this part takes less than 10 minutes: look it up on YouTube... The despicable upcharge is ridiculous. I'm all about a business making a profit but not an almost double the price of the replacement part to a loyal customer. Done. Adios. Chow. Hasta la vista, baby!

Thus, having to make a second trip to the store which is an inconvenience. So as soon as we got off work we went to the place she bought her battery to get a diagnostic reading which stated "bad charging system". Luckily, we were next door to Tire Discounters so we rushed over to see if they could replace her alternator that night because she lives almost an hour from this area and didn't feel confident she'd make it home. We walk in with a new alternator and ask if they can replace it. One guy said they could replace it but it wouldnt be tonight since it was about 5:15 and they close at 6pm. We understood but felt so defeated. I asked if they thought she'd make it to Scottsboro with a bad alternator and one guy said not likely. the other guy, Jacob, said he would go check her output to see what the reading was to help gauge whether or not she should attempt the long commute. once Jacob got the reading he began looking for her alternator to see how hard it would be to get to. After he assessed everything he said he wanted to go ask the other guy a question real quick so we followed him inside. After Jacob spoke to the other guy, he came to the counter and said he was going to put the new one on and said it will be done around 6pm. Jacob went above and beyond to make sure my friend made it back home that night. He was kind, courteous, and fast. Jacob didn't have to do what he did, especially being as close to closing time as it was, but he took great care of us! GO SEE JACOB!
