Initially, I spoke with Nancy, who was extremely helpful and professional, but she explained that her husband, Rick, would be the one to manage the transfer. Rick was initially interested in my business, particularly when I indicated that I'd also like to talk about transferring insurance for our three cars when we completed the homeowner's transaction. After that, he consistently dropped the ball, specifically not following through or returning calls. Finally, I received the paperwork he promised and returned it promptly. He assured me that he would send the form to my carrier that day and the transfer would take about five business days to complete. I gave him more than two weeks, then called my carrier. They had no paperwork. I called the office and spoke with Nancy, who informed me that Rick was out of the office until late next week. She looked around his desk and found the transfer request that had never been sent to my carrier. Nancy sincerely apologized. She said the business was very difficult and busy these days. Yes, that happens, but I shouldn't have to chase down an agent to take my business. I really wanted to work with a local, independent agent, but it definitely won't be Desert View. Clearly, their business is booming, and they don't need new clients.

Living in the Mountains can be difficult finding homeowners insurance, fire, snow etc. But I've been fortunate with Mike Williams at CPI, to take care of things. I've even sent several friends to CPI because of the ease and affordability. As of now, my roommate has auto insurance with CPI, I have renters, homeowners and auto insurance with them. In sum, I appreciate the ease in which my needs are taken care of, and of course the price. I don't do email/docu sign computer stuff, so CPI sends everything via USPS. Non responsive waste of time -- AVOID!…read more I spent 90 mins with an employee Christine over an extensive quote ... giving all the specifics answering all her questions ... after a week of not hearing anything I emailed her and received a notification that she is no longer with the company. I called and a woman said she'd look into it finding my name in their system. After another week -- nothing. I called again and the sane woman apologized and said that Mike Williams will get back to me within a hour with the quote. ( Keep in mind this is thousands and thousands worth of coverage.). I waited 4 more days and called a 4th time and told the woman I never heard from anyone. "Someone will get back to you". Yeah rrrrrright. No wonder Christine left. Just steer clear and AVOID PC Insurance.

So asked Cindy if they could look at our policies and give us a second opinion. They said sure with no strings attached. Reviewed our homeowners and auto policies and gave the honest opinion that we were looking for, the quotes they supplied were from a different company than we were currently insured by. We talked about it and Geoffrey just told me go talk to your current agent and look at a couple things, raise the deductible on your current homeowners and then you could raise the insurable amount and it would save you some money on your policy. I believe it is not always about getting the best rate but more important having the correct coverage if and when something does happen.
