Ear still bothered me, but because he didn't see any fluid, said it was fine. I said my other ear also bothered me some, but he blamed it on TMJ. Did some rudimentary hearing testing and said it was fine. I felt like his practice was stuck in the 1950s, and he failed to give me proper treatment as a result. Ended up having to go to a different ENT, who was excellent. Gave me antibiotics and steroids to try to solve the problem. When that didn't work, put tubes in both ears to drain the fluid. This is the best my ears have been in ages.

So very impressed! Hubster needed to see someone and his mom found Dr. Blake. What a blessing!…read more He was able to pull up the CT scan from 2 years ago and went over it, with me, slide by slide, explaining all the bits and pieces, then threaded a scope down Hubster's throat (via his nose, by the way...bypasses gag reflex that way) and he let me see all the cysts that were on Hubster's tongue! Way cool!! I love when doctors explain things in a way that I understand, but, at the same time, don't make me feel stupid. He gave us both medical and "non-medical" solutions (raise your bed, watch your diet, and, here's a temporary pill to get you started until everything else kicks in.) I'm a huge fan, and while, yes, I hope this has solved our issue and we won't have to return, I heartily endorse Dr. Blake's " bedside manner" and have no reservations recommending him to anyone else who needs an ENT! He's worth going to even if he is out of your network! Can't get higher praise than that!

He refused to issue antibiotics even though I had pain, hearing loss and fluid leaking out of my ear. His recommendation was a hearing test. I ended up in the emergency room and had two different types of infections that were remedied with antibiotics and a doctor that knew what he was doing (Dr. Mark Witte). Do not trust your health to this hack in a white coat.

Prior to the appointments for allergy testing and a CT scan scheduled on 7/15/2024, I was told I would receive a call to explain the cost of all services to be provided that day. I missed the call and called back four times but never received a call back from the provider to discuss the cost of services. On the day of the appointment, I explained that I did not want to move forward unless I understood the complete cost. I was told that I was be charged a total of $272.16 all in. Therefore, I agreed to the services and paid. I then received an EOB from my insurance company and invoice for an additional $716,89. I called the provider and ask to speak to the manager. A manager was to call me but never did. Further, I was told to dispute through my insurance company. They basically told me the person who told me that the cost was $272.16 was wrong and I was out of luck because I signed the financial commitment form. This seems fraudulent that I can be verbally told that I will only have to pay one amount for services but in reality, they have made me sign something and can charge anything with no repercussions. I do not recommend this business.

Since moving to Florida from New Jersey in 2018, I have encountered the nicest people everywhere I go, and this facility is no different. I was anxious when I first arrived, but the staff made me feel calm, cared for, and safe. Everyone treated me with warmth and concern, from Heather at intake to John the nurse to Joe and the other techs who assisted in getting me ready for the biopsy. I had general anesthesia and was out cold in less than 20 seconds. When I woke I felt fine except for scratchiness in my throat, which was to be expected. They gave me water to rinse out any remaining blood. I asked for salt water and they gave to me instantly. I wasn't left alone for more than five minutes during the entire process, and several people went over the procedures and the recovery instructions with me. I highly recommend Select Physicians Surgery Center.
