Tina and Scott are always a joy to talk to and Jane is always quick to give me a hug when I walk in. I never worry if I cannot get in to see Dr. Kampsen because Trent is just as good. They are both efficient and a pleasure to deal with, despite your malady or reason for being there. Yes, sometimes your wait may be long, but I expect that in most doctors' offices. I was the only person in the waiting room and was called exactly on time for my appointment. The doctor's assistant went over all my medical information with me, verified my current medications, and told me the doctor would be in shortly. Dr. Hsu came in about 20 minutes later. I really liked him, and thought he was efficient and helpful, especially once he told me that my ear infection was actually jaw-related instead. He prescribed a course of action: adjustment, allergy meds, night guard from the dentist, soft foods, over the counter pain meds, etc. And to see him again in three months. I loved that he listened to me and explained things thoroughly. The only weird thing was that he called in 2 prescriptions to my pharmacy for me - and both items turned out to be over-the-counter medications. The reason this review is 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because of the cost. My crazy health insurance plan has "negotiated rates" until you reach your deductible, and the cost for this visit was over $200! Ouch! So, if things seem to clear up, I probably will cancel my 3 month appointment, but if I need to go back, I'm confident that Dr. Hsu will be able to help.

I was anxious when I first arrived, but the staff made me feel calm, cared for, and safe. Everyone treated me with warmth and concern, from Heather at intake to John the nurse to Joe and the other techs who assisted in getting me ready for the biopsy. I had general anesthesia and was out cold in less than 20 seconds. When I woke I felt fine except for scratchiness in my throat, which was to be expected. They gave me water to rinse out any remaining blood. I asked for salt water and they gave to me instantly. I wasn't left alone for more than five minutes during the entire process, and several people went over the procedures and the recovery instructions with me.
