In years since she has sewed new custom designed pockets into my favorite jackets. They have since been serving me for years, which I am still wearing, and I am very happy with her alterations! I don't often dry clean clothes bc I hate paying for it, so I usually wait for my dry clean pile to get out of control before I do anything about it. I went to fashion cleaners bc I got a coupon in the mail for 20% off, but after going I feel like their prices are over inflated to offset the coupons they mail / what's on their website. Coupons are great when they actually lead to savings lol. But yes I came in because of the targeted marketing so good for them. It worked. Overall the experience was nice. Decent parking even though the lot can get packed I never had an issue finding a spot. The people who took my clothes and gave them back when my clothes were ready were nice enough. There's nothing amazing about this location to me and the price leaves more to be desired tbh. $26/dress for dry cleaning feels like highway robbery... but maybe idk current dry clean prices and I'm being a cheapskate?! I have been patronizing this location for years. It's not cheap either plus you're dealing with lots of traffic on Fair Oaks and the adjacent parking lot is a hassle. I think it's time to find another dry cleaner because I spent $40 on two jackets but I noticed stains that should have easily been removed were on the sleeve. When I looked at the other jacket it did not smell clean at all. It looked pressed. If the jackets were cleaned using actual dry cleaning products they did a lousy job. read more

We have been customers of Fashion Cleaners without incidence for more than 10 years. I took in 2 items- a pair of pants and a pleated silk skirt for cleaning- they were uncharacteristically busy and there were several people waiting in line behind me to drop off clothes. I do not recall getting a ticket; if I did it is misplaced. It was a little confusing there that morning because several people arrived at one time. They have no record of me in their log so the items have apparently been lost. I am sure these mix ups happen in this type of business and that my 2 pieces got tangled with someone else's or are somewhere in their lost and found. I have tried to speak to the owner, Mike, for the last couple of weeks to find out whether they have a lost and found and/or accept my descriptions so they can see if the items have turned up. The owner, Mike, refuses to take or return my calls. After having been loyal customers for as long as we have been without any complaint or incident I find this refusal to speak to a customer with an issue really unacceptable. Without a ticket, I understand I have no recourse for a claim but the items were relatively new and since they are undoubtedly lying around somewhere unclaimed I would like to see if they could be found. If you are using this business you should be aware that the owner will refuse to respond to any problems that may arise. Also, depending on who is working the staff can be rude as has been noted in other reviews. read more

I've been going to them for about a year and a half now and I absolutely love them! I struggle to find pants that fit me so I often have to get them altered and when I get them done here they last! No tears or fraying of the fabric ever And drop offs for my dry cleaning is super easy and are usually ready a day or two after. Never any complaints! Alondra is usually who I speak to and she's always a pleasure and the seamstress, Nounei I think is her name- amazing! I recommend them always. My only bad thing to say is that it is way too hot in there for them, especially during the summer. It makes it difficult to work and you can tell how uncomfortable it is for them. read more

I really try not to leave overwhelmingly negative reviews unless they're earned. And oh boy did this place earn it! I dropped off my beloved seersucker Brooks Brothers suit to be dry cleaned, along with a dress shirt to be dry cleaned, and a pair of shorts to have a seam repaired. Was promised to me a few days later, and when I returned I was confronted with the horror of almost all the buttons on my suit being smashed. Not like, slightly cracked or one or two buttons affected. Like 10 to 12 buttons broken, some of them to smithereens. See my attached photos. The guy tells me "They didn't dry clean this one because the buttons are broken." I'm like "You think I broke all these!?!?? This coat absolutely didn't look like this when I dropped it off." He says "OK we'll fix it." He didn't say "Gee sorry we ruined your suit, we'll make this right." Just, "OK." I was furious, but gave them a few more days to fix it. I return the day after the day it was promised to me, and to my total and complete surprise THEY HADN'T FIXED ONE DAMN BUTTON ANYWHERE ON THE COAT. He started to give me some lecture about how the buttons are shell and not plastic and they can't find them and blah blah blah. I cut him off to ask why they didn't CALL TO TELL ME THIS BEFORE I TOOK TIME OUT OF MY DAY TO COME PICK THE COAT UP, and he didn't really have an answer for me. Ten times more furious than I was before, I requested they cease all work on the coat and return it to me. I'll now have to pay the tailor to fix Fashion Cleaners' screwup. So thanks a lot for that! I can't in good conscience recommend this place to anyone who places any value on the clothes they take for alteration or cleaning. Shameful. read more

The service and prices at Fashion Cleaners are terrible. I brought in two shirts to press and they charged $28. They could have mentioned that it's only $7 to launder and press the shirts, but they didn't. The prices are not listed anywhere in the business. One of those shirts was one that they had dry cleaned because it had a stain. The stain didn't come out so they laundered it. Again, the stain was completely unchanged. I took it home and washed it myself and the stain came out fine. Then when I brought it back in for pressing they charged me $14. I asked if they would consider discounting it considering I'd already paid to have to cleaned unsuccessfully (and had to make 3 trips there) and they said there was nothing they could do. I've been going to this location since 2008, and the service has gone down while the prices keep going up and up. I'll never go back. read more

So sad I have to report that Mike n. Anthony called me after our business was completed harassing me! The manager at this fashion Cleaners is truly a joke. I give them $172 for wash and fold and the send my black jacket dirty and ripped a shirt further than it a Second post, the manager called me up after I paid for their bad service. He stated to me that he read my review and that he was just returning the favor. That means fashion cleaners send my jacket back to me, not cleaned. The manager told me how he did not like the review, I gave fashion cleaners in pasadena on Fair Oaks and California blvd. In fairness, I will say I put the review in when I could not get my clothes due to his staff putting the incorrect credit card information into their credit card machine for 2 days. This led me to wait and call the bank, which they suggested to me to ask what expiration date was fashion Cleaners putting into their credit card machine. Hmm, I called fashion cleaners on Fair Oaks and California, blvd the female front desk lady repeated to me the incorrect number they were trying to put in their credit card machine! Now you would think one person could not bear this alone, no so. I asked to speak to the manager, and each day I called the manager was never available, hmm! Finally after they hold my clothes longer than they should have. All due to them telling the incorrect information that I gave the front desk lady on my credit card! I know their rating is low 2.0. I get it. I guess you can not be a patron of fashion cleaners! The front desk girl doesn't want to be there. You hear it in the way she speaks to you over the phone! It's weird how businesses say they want customers, and when they come, the employees do everything not to do their job! The manager called me after we finished our business. I paid $172 for my jacket, not to be cleaned! And for the manager to call me after the fact harassing me, now my transaction was completed when I paid for their horrible service! I needed last minute alterations on a suit not a next day but couple days. Shorting the sleeves and and pants. Ive had alterations done elsewhere so I had an idea on the price for same services. Any way my mistake was I didn't check the ticket/price at this location before I left my suit. BIG MISTAKE!! $50 for the sleeves and $39 for pants. I was better off getting a new suit. I made an appointment with their tailor online only to show up today and be told that she wasn't at that location. The woman behind the counter kept saying she called and "spoke to someone" yesterday about the location change and that "they" were fine with it.(!) I told her the number she has is my cell, no one but me has access to it, and I did not receive any calls from her. Rather than apologize, or admit that she may have called a different client, she just kept repeating she'd called and that if I wanted to get the alterations done I'd have to go across town! I'd already taken time off from work so I could get the clothes done before the holidays, there's no way I could spend the additional time to go across town in lunchtime traffic. I have been to SO MANY tailors in Pasadena and could not find anyone I ever wanted to go back to. Until now. I love this place!! Everyone is so nice. Celia the tailor is amazing and so professional. To the people who had a bad experience....did you take it back and show it to her? Because she probably would have fixed it no charge. She did for me on a dress that was an extremely difficult project. Even if it's not perfect in the end (still a work in progress), I don't think anyone could have done a better job or try so hard. The dress was too big but I wanted to wear it for my birthday and she really made it fit to my body. Her and Alemi explained the pricing to me and asked me when I would need it by.
