I took a brand-new, expensive shirt to this dry cleaner last week. When I picked it up, I didn't notice anything wrong at first. However, two days later at home, I discovered a hole in the shirt. Brought in a suit skirt set. Picked it up 2 days later just to find that there was still a stain. (Really unsure if actually laundered since it seemed to still have smell of perfume.) Brought it back, they placed a red tape on the stain and said would "redo". Unfortunately found the front seam on the skirt was completely off. They said it came in that way even though it's only been worn once. I can't say that would've happened and I wouldn't have noticed before taking it in. I would think they'd check all articles and note anything in particular to avoid customers from blaming them in situations like this. Nevertheless, it's she said vs she said... Giving 3 stars only because they said they'd launder the suit again, but will be looking to bring my business elsewhere next time read more

Update: these people are shameless. I took a dress shirt to fast cleaners in March. When I went to pick it up the day of a wedding I came 1.5 hours before the posted close time, but they had a sign up saying they closed 2 hours early. I forgot about the shirt for a couple weeks and when I went back they had a sign up saying they are closed for 1 month! I of course needed the shirt during that month. Super inconvenient. When I finally got my shirt back I explained this to them and asked for a discount or something. These people had the nerve to give me attitude about it. They should have been apologizing. They failed at the most basic core of their business: clean the clothes AND RETURN THEM. They told me not to come back. OBVIOUSLY I'm not coming back. read more

Took my freshly pressed linen pants to get hemmed. When I went back to pick them up it was folded in a pile of other items instead of it being on a hanger. Needless to say, pants got all wrinkled. It tells me that they are either disorganized or don't care about customer's clothing. I also pinned the pants before I dropped them off to indicate the length I wanted them to be. Pants ended up 2 inches longer than I wanted. They are pretty cheap and fast but you get what you pay for. I will not be going back for alterations or dry cleaning. read more

I brought by a dress that needed to be tailored for my daughter on Friday. It was ready for pickup by Monday so I love how fast they were able to have it done for me. I've been here a couple times now and the couple that run this place are so kind and patient. They are reliable, especially in tight deadlines and will have your things ready. Just picked up my dry cleaning from here and it cost $10 for hemming a dress that's hem came undone $25 to hem a two layer evening gown I was in and out of there quick to just measure where to hem my dress to and I appreciate it as I was on my way to work but needed a dress hemmed in a pinch. Her prices are more than reasonable and the kids at school, I mean work, won't laugh at you for having to roll up the bottom of your jeans with a fat cuff. Fast, Friendly, aFfordable - no fuss, and not fancy, but reliable and great in a pinch! I needed some jeans altered before a last minute trip, and Amy got them done quickly with no rush up-charge. (There was no fine tailoring needed, I wouldn't bring something that needs detailed finishing or fine altering done here.). DO NOT BRING ANY CLOTHES TO DRY CLEAN HERE. I have been here 3 times now because it's close and they generally did an OK job cleaning my clothes. However, the first time I came, they lost a pair of pants I brought in. I came back though because they did ultimately find it (though not until 1 week later) and I wanted to give them a chance. But this time they completely shrunk a nice coat I brought in. A coat that had been safely dry-cleaned many times before. Not only did they shrink it, they refused to admit that it shrunk, trying to argue that I must've brought it in like that (which....what?). At first I noticed that the coat looked incredibly wrinkled, but when I asked them why my coat looked wrinkled, they instantly denied it and said it wasn't wrinkled. Then when I told them it looked like it shrank, they refused to believe me, even after I tried it on and could not move my arms in the coat. Only after many demands and back and forth, they refunded me a fraction of what the coat actually costs. What's funny though? They tried to keep me from taking my coat back because they'd "paid for it." Literally never had anyone argue to me before about trying to keep something they're paying me for damaging. I should've known this was a place to avoid after they almost lost my dress pants. Tl;dr, if you want to have clothes missing or shrunk and then gas lit about what actually happened to it, come here. Otherwise, avoid if you care about your clothes at all. read more

Her work is very clean and detailed. My sister recently got married and each bridesmaid's dress needed to be altered in some form or fashion...either shortened or needed length added. Amy was able to alter each metallic knit Ralph Lauren dress seamlessly. We were all very pleased with the results. I have also asked Amy in the past to take apart entire non stretch fabric garments because the measurements were wrong and because I am crazy like that. She was able to do it. Flawlessly. One time I had a lot of clothes, they were nice to assist me in bringing my clothes to my car. That was much appreciated! I've only had one experience with this place, but thought it was worth sharing: In early March of 2020, I dropped off my suit here to be cleaned. A few days later, the Covid lockdowns started, and this shop (like all other non-essential businesses) was temporarily closed. Needless to say, as we all spent months and months locked inside our homes, I never had any reason to wear a suit, and COMPLETELY FORGOT about the one I'd dropped off here. Now fast-forward to a week ago, a full year after I dropped off the suit -- I'm stopped at a light on Atlantic, and glance over at Fast Cleaners on the corner, and it suddenly hits me: "oh my god, my suit!" I dig through my glove box and miraculously find the ticket, then go inside, just on the off-chance that they still have it. I hand the lady the ticket, saying "I totally understand if you got rid of it, but I came in here a year ago with a suit..." and she breaks into a huge smile, saying, "The blue suit! You came back!" She rushes to the back and there it is: my suit, still looking crisp, clean and pressed. She seemed genuinely thrilled to reunite me with me suit. She didn't even try to charge me more than the $12 for a standard dry clean, and I had to CONVINCE her to accept a tip. Like I said, this was my only experience with them, but any dry cleaner who holds on to a suit for an entire year through a worldwide pandemic and doesn't even try to charge extra for it is the kind of place I plan on returning to.
